Beyond Earth:The horizon

The protagonist was chosen as the representative of a higher being and now he has to help it gain power and influence while traveling the multiverse. Why didn't the being just do everything alone? Go find out! Really, it's on the first one-two chaps... The first few chaps are rather cringy, not because of the MC but because I tried to incorporate situations from the anime show into the book and that didn't go very well... But later? Oh boy, that's where the fun begins! [NOT wish-fulfillment at least in my head] [NOT harem at least.... in my head] No romance for now NO cultivation worlds-at least the strong ones Worlds SPOILER! IS-Infinite Stratos Monster Hunter. JOJO! Attack on Titan TAGS Action-a little bit it depends on the situation Adventure-......... Reincarnation-Duh Magic-later Tech-read Mech-read Martial arts Heavy Language(If you are a kid) Time-skip Slight emotional development(for character development) Slight cringe(At the start, due to the original source being well... a harem romance) Superhumans(Someone who can disassemble a mech with their hands isn't human) And possibly more I will add later if I bother I don't own the characters, the worlds, and the cover image, all the credit goes to their respective authors English isn't my first language I am not gaining money with this(writing this mostly for my boredom and for practice, and I don't have a bank account) Thanks for checking by, please no review spawn nor shit-posting

Super Human

What was a Human maximum potential? Remember, Pillar men and Humans are different beings, being set apart Millions of years ago, or so their story tells us.

So the qualities a Human might acquire might be entirely different from what Pillar man has.

There is also the "bloodline" factor. A human that had 5 generations of Hamon masters one after the other is likely to have a different potential than a person who had 5 normal Humans before him.

(What I mean is that the possible changes from tapping into one's potential vary from species to species, and from individual to individual, depending on their ancestry. They may be equal or similar, its just a possibility)

But that begs the question: Is the ultimate state of all life forms… Equal?

Kars could transform into all sorts of animals since he gained the DNA of all living animals that ever existed.

But what would happen if a Human, a completely different species, unleashed all of its hidden potential?

Would the end result be the same?

Unfortunately… I don't really have an answer for that. I guess I could try to use the mask on animals and see what happens. As for the dangers…

I don't think any sort of lifeform can resist staying inside a furnace over 6000C for too long.

/The same day a few hours later/

A man cuffed in chains entered the glass tube through an opening in the back.

-I must say once again that your cooperation is advised, if the procedure goes as planned, you will be given a change in your sentence.

I gave the order to release and the prisoner was freed. He didn't try to resist.

He was a death sentence prisoner. As for the reasons? Who cares? I choose him because of his brain measurements and his calm/obedient personality.

-Please put on the helmet.

He did just as instructed. The helmet then locked in place. The man was clearly distressed, anyone would be. A massive metal object was strapped into your head and you couldn't remove it.

-Breath in and out. It's fine, the helmet isn't going to eat you.

I only said that since I didn't want the experiment to fail due to the person being distressed, even more so such a perfect test subject. They aren't crops that you can find anywhere.

Is this cruel? A little bit, but no one asked him to commit crimes worthy of receiving a death sentence.

-Starting in...3...2...1…

/FUUWUONN!/

The machine made a strange sound. Gas started to fill the tube, but it was soon cleared out.

After a few seconds, a strange piercing sound echoed through the room.

/Pucthi!/

Light emanated from the helmet holes, and within a few seconds his body started to grow.

He was rather average, previously being around 1.69M tall. But now… He was over 2M tall with hulking muscles.

They weren't massive like a bodybuilder, they were big and sculpted. Allowing him to have a certain level of maneuverability.

Within a minute, the process ended. The helmet was pulled off revealing the unconscious men on the ground.

He opened his eyes soon after, confused at first, he said:

-What happened?... This hunger. I feel like I could eat a horse… Two horses!

-It's normal. Here, have this nutrient pack.

As I said, a small juice-like package dropped from the ceiling into his hands.

He didn't even look at it when he grabbed it.

Hum… His reflexes…

A small part of the glass tube opened, leading into another room.

-Okay. Can you pass through the door into the testing area?

The room had many machines, all of them were to test the limits of his body.

-He can easily lift 3 tons...

-Run over 100Km/H…

-Jump over 10 Meters…

-Work under heavy physical stress while holding his breath for an undetermined period of time… His skin seems to be able to breathe for him.

-His energy to food efficiency is several times that of normal humans…

-He doesn't have the insane physical manipulation of Vampires and Pillar men. But his Hamon talent is immense, he has already started to use some basic breathing techniques…

-Immense intelligence and brain processing speed...

-His heat and cold resistances are also insane, between -30 C and 120 C…

(Yes I know it doesn't make sense, but this is Jojo.)

-His body seems able to produce hormones capable of changing small attributes of his body like hair colour, skin tone, eye color, and some cartilage shapes. Possibly allowing him to change appearances.. ..

-He has full manipulation over every single muscle in his body, and they are all incredibly resistant to wear and tear…

-His body composition has greatly changed, his muscles have signs of metals and other substances fused into them, higher research is required…

-His weight has massively increased, although he looks like a normal tall bodybuilder, he weighs over 400 Kg after injecting him with hundreds of nutrients packs. The number has stayed stable for a while…

-He won't die even if he is thrown from the troposphere, since his body is powerful enough to resist the impact at terminal velocity. And consequently, even bullets and heavier calibers will at most make a mark/scar...

-His skin is rubery in a sense, but at the same time it feels like normal human skin...

-His body metabolism and regeneration are immense, almost rivaling mine, no… It surpasses in some cases. He seems to be able to grow an ear back in a few minutes...

-His tolerance to pain has been immensely increased…

After an entire day, the man was still kicking and going, as if he had just started.

-That's enough for this experiment.

I pressed the mic button and said:

-That's enough for today. Please follow Jeff into your quarters, tomorrow we shall have more tests.

He looked at me with an inquisitive look before looking away.

-Don't worry, we have properly diagnosed and we are currently treating your family disease as you asked.

He looked at me and gave me a nod.

-... I was in deep contemplation.

-We should gather more test subjects and test different combinations of stimulations, and see if it's possible to awaken someone again.

(Use the mask twice, Kars did that, once to awaken a small portion of his potential, anda again to become a perfect being).

-We still have some vampires trapped in the FC, we could ask them to bring some so that we can run some tests. Commented a clone. Clone 1

-There is still a lot we don't know about the brain, so creating a mask for us is still far away. I recommend that we search for people with similar brain measurements as us and experiment on them. Said another clone. Clone 2

-That's too difficult, the only way such an idea can be viable is if we search among the civilians. And that's not viable. We should start with vampires at the very least. They have higher rates of regeneration and are not considered Humans anymore. Said Clone 1

-You are thinking small. I am not talking about picking among the normal civilians, I am talking about going for those that have nothing to lose. The people that want to change their lives but can't.

-People with deadly diseases, or some form of deformity, the poor who cant change their fate in the current society! The ones who are desperate! They would sell their soul to the devil if they could change everything! Said Clone 2

-Are you saying we should take advantage of their suffering?! Exclaimed Clone 1

-Don't be naive! And no, we aren't being evil! How much did we invest in charity? How many people did we help through SF? We helped thousands to revert their lives but there are still people who suffer.

-I am not telling us to kill them like cattle! I am talking about giving them a chance, think of it as a slightly dangerous job. Before you say something remember that they already work in risky and unsanitary environments!

-Who is working on the coal mines? Who is working on the salt refineries? Who is breathing in dangerous amounts of sawdust in wood factories?!

-We are giving them a chance to be reborn. The chance of failure has already been determined to be below 0.1%! This is much lower than most of the jobs they do.

-Tell me, if you were a poor starving boy, and a man came with an opportunity for a safe high paying job that would not only improve your health condition but actually transform you into a better Human, would you take it? Of course not! Because such a situation does not exist… Until today. Clone 2 finally stopped talking.

-My idea is as follows, we can start with the homeless, giving them food and shelter in exchange for a small analysis of their head. So that we could take their measurements, we extend a helping hand for those that meet our requirements, we could repeat the same in many places, just changing what we are giving them.

-They gain what they want and we gain workers. We could even give them some more opportunities. We are not saints! Remember our duty, as long as it does not pass our moral line then it's feasible! He said.

-... You are right… We don't have the luxury to help everyone… Said Clone 1

-... Are you two done? I said

-... You know. Seeing two clones talking about the morality of our experiments is … certainly new.

-... Yeah. Clone 1

-... Right. Clone 2

This is what happens when I keep the clones summoned for too long. They end up collecting enough information to start getting diverse opinions. Of course, they are still just clones.

Even if they can exchange info among each other, that doesn't make them perfectly similar just because they did so.

(Clones grow differently with time as they acquire new experiences. But that only happens to looong lasting clones. )

Talking about clones, one of the reasons why I didn't use the clones to experiment was because when I use the mask on them, they just return to smoke.

(Because having the mask penetrate your brain technically kills the person for a brief moment. So the clones return to smoke.)

So yeah, being self-sufficient is not an option…
