Paradise's first island (I am back)

(Sorry for the long wait. Around 2 and a half weeks?

My uni finally ended for this year so it's time to restart posting chapters. I will try to maintain 1 chapter per day but since my editor is on vacation, I am doing the editing on my own so...

Now for the recap!

The mc came into this world for two reasons, one, to flee from the world rejection when he used a power he shouldn't have in the previous world, and second, to kill the strange cosmic beast that has invaded this world.

For the first 8 months or so, he went around the blues looking for any clues of this creature together with none other than Ace he saved from Marineford and some others. On his way to cross the reverse mountain for the second time, he was met with the clash of two giants, Kuzan and a lighting fruit man! Their clash forced our adventurers to go down the reverse mountain towards paradise, the grand line.

They met with Crocus where ace learned a little bit more of his father, leaving Twin peak with conflicted emotions.

Now they are about to dock at the first island, tequila wolf, in order to get a new boat and some supplies like a Log pose.

What could happen? Let's see!

It's actually been a while since I wrote this chapter, I have 10-15 chapters on hold here. So I actually forgot what happened as well...

Here is the crew:

Descriptions:

Popeye George was a small man with binoculars always in his eyes. He was bald and had a very thin, long mustache. He is the perfect description of a Gnome.

Fedrum Bibos was very tall and fat. After these months of training, he only looked fatter. He might be "big" but he was the fastest non-combatant runner. He had a normal "uncle" face. His eyes were closed most of the time, but he will open them when he gets "serious".

Loodwick Felps was of average height being 1,80 m tall. He had a Tuxedo and a clipboard in his hands. He had blue hair and dark sunglasses on his face. He didn't have any facial hair but he was thinking about growing a mustache under the influence of Bibos, who is also a barber.

Frindin Ruok was an adult girl with red hair. She was very beautiful, having the legendary "hourglass body" of One piece. She had some freckles on her face and her hair curled up at the end, it reached all the way to her back. She was wearing a collar with a blue gem at the end.

Ace was wearing a beautiful crimson red cloak, he had a black pirate captain hat, his clothes were very uptight. And finally, he had a small knife on his side, and a black bandana.

Eliot and his brother Toile are a pair of similar-looking men. As twins, they boast slighter tanned skin and massive muscles. One had a head full of hair but no beard or mustache, while the other had a bald head and a massive beard.

Susein is a rather tall girl, staying at around 1,90M tall. From head to feet, she had short black hair that went till her shoulder. On her head there was a gray eagle accessory, her eyes were green and her nose was small.

She didn't have an "Hourglass body". In fact, her boobs were very… Unnoticeable Giving her a very tomboyish appearance. She normally wears clothing similar in style to what Goku wears. A type of training clothes.

Strangely enough, even after spending all of her life training, her body did not look overly muscular.

-I see land! I see Cactus island!

The sailor in the bird's nest notified everyone that after 2 days of sailing in the sea, we finally arrived at Cactus island.

I stopped training with my weights and went to the side of the ship to take a look at the island.

It was a "desert" island with tall spherical mountains filled with graves, making them look like cactuses from far away. Hence, the name.

There was a saltwater river passing through the island, dividing it into two sections.

The island has a single town named Whisky peak. It was built on the shores of the river. It was the first island Luffy and his crew visited in Paradise.

In fact, it's the first island everyone visits when they come into the Grand line for the first time. That's why the town is filled with bounty hunters that were previously under Baroque works, after the dissolution of the organization, it's unknown what happened to the bounty hunters.

Trusty me, I tried looking for info but there wasn't anything. I guess what happens in the Grand line stays in the Grand Line.

With the exception of some things.

I imagine most of the bounty hunters are still active. Just because their "boss" was defeated, that doesn't mean the bounty hunters are going to quit their job, since they were doing that before Crocodile even set foot in the Grand Line.

Most bounty hunters are quite weak, relying on guns and such tactics to defeat the pirates. Many pirates end up captured though. After all, most pirates that come to the grand line aren't really that strong.

(When you compare them to the rest of the world. What I mean here is that most of the new pirates aren't "superhuman". They don't have Devil fruits, powerful martial arts, much less Haki.

They are very susceptible to bullets. Even whitebeard took damage from bullets, even though he was old. And when the bounty of such a pirate is a million or two… It's obvious that there would be hundreds of bounty hunters. They only need a single well-placed bullet and they are rich!)

/Murmur.../

Everyone looked excited to arrive, after our previous "incident" we have been on edge the entire trip, our supplies were also running close to ending since we lost most of them that day.

-Why is it so hot? Asked Susein

-Get used to it, here in the Grand Line, the weather is unpredictable in most cases. We may go from a hot sunny day to a snowstorm. Said Loodwick

-Just what I needed… More work. Said Fedrum

-Alright everyone!

From behind us Ace wearing his fancy clothes together with his father's hat appeared.

-I know everyone is tired, so let's take a few days off on the island. I will look for a new ship with the first mate in the meantime. If everyone finds a good candidate make sure to report!

-Yes! x Crew

-Aren't you forgetting something?

-Oh? What is it John?

-Be careful on the island, it's filled with bandits in disguise and bounty hunters. I think we should find a new ship as soon as possible and leave this damned hot place.

-I forgot about that. Said Ace

-... X Crew

-New plans! We are going to find a new ship while looking for some supplies!

Ace then turned around going to his quarters.

-I forgot something!

He picked up a paper with a drawing of a compass inside a circular glass case.

A Log pose.

-If any of you find one of these being sold, be sure to get it! If you can't, it's fine anyway…

-It isn't. If we don't have a Log pose we can't navigate in the Grand Line. So if you find one, make sure to report it back to us. If it can be bought with money, buy it.

-If the price is too high then you can come back with the news and we will find a solution from there.

-... Just do it as John said. Said Ace lazily

This time he went to his cabin without stopping.

-This is it, everyone. Get ready to land!

-You owe me 100K Berries. Said Loodwick to Popeye.

On their way to this island, they were met with several storms. Showing just how unpredictable the Grand Line weather is.

If it wasn't for Ace's knowledge, they might've lost their way on the sea. Or worse, sunk.

-... I don't know what you are talking about.

-FLEEING FROM A BET?! I thought you were a man but you ended up being just a pussy!

-What did you say, blue-haired boy?! Here! Have it your way!

He took out a stack of notes worth 100K Berries and threw it at Loodwick.

-Hehe… You should have just given it to me from the beginning… I wonder what sorts of drinks they have in this place… I can taste them already…

Popeye seemed annoyed by the Loodwick strange expression, but he let it slide since he will soon have his vengeance.

Our ship finally docked. Broken and worn out, it did its job till the end.

I looked towards the island and noticed that its residents weren't really that happy to see us here.

Perhaps that wasn't the right word…

-It's as if they are looking at prey… Said Susein on my side.

-Do they think we are pirates? Unfortunately or should say thankfully for them, we aren't. Complemented Loodwick

Everyone jumped from the ship, inciting surprising some of the people on the pier.

Our boat was, after all, around 10 meters tall.

-But if you are looking for some "pricey" supplies, then your best bet is in the Kikyo pass shop, just at the end of the river dividing the islands. Be sure to keep your eye open since it's quite easy to miss. There was one thing about its owner but I forgot what it was…

I picked another 30K Berries.

The old man picked the notes without batting an eye.

-How could I have forgotten! Old Myl has quite the personality. If he is in the shop that is, most of the time it is run by his employee, Miss Monday. Be sure to not provoke her, she has already beaten dozens of fools in the past year since she was hired.

-If you happen to be unlucky enough to go to the shop when Old Myl is there, be sure to not provoke him, such as talking about his age and appearance. Otherwise, he will prevent you from buying anything in his shop.
