Ch. 4 - Appointment with practitioners, Pick up a Little Girl.

A middle-aged man with a white beard and two bodyguards behind him came to our table. When I wanted to ask him who he was, he said first.

"Let me introduce myself. I am James Olron. Elder of the Olron family in China. May I know your name, sir?" The old man politely asked.

"I am Nine. and just an ordinary person from an ordinary family." After saying that, I asked back, "how can I help you?"

"Oh, so Mr. Nine. It's nice to meet you! If I may, could I invite you to have a private talk with me somewhere?" The old man named James invited me.

"Why not talk about it, right here?" I said indifferently despite being a little distracted. Then the old man was stunned for a moment and said hesitantly.

"I'm afraid if I talk about it here, it will invite problems that are difficult to handle." The old man turned his head in all directions looking wary.

'I don't know what this old man means. I'll just go with the flow. And if it's dangerous I'll immediately send Susan away to safety first.'

"Alright, when are we going to go for a private talk?" "How about the day after tomorrow?" The old man asked, handing me his cell phone.

I understood what he meant by that, but since I wasn't holding a cell phone, I would just ask for his number and promise to call him first. When I said my intention, the old man frowned and said.

"I'm afraid that you'll forget about it and consider it unimportant. Isn't there any guarantee that our meeting will be successful?" The old man James said realistically and doubted me.

"Don't worry Mr. Nine, I'm sure you'll be interested after finding out the day after tomorrow" James said to reassure me about the appointment with him.

"Well, how about you wait here first while I take my girlfriend back. I'll be back here and this is the guarantee".

I handed James Orlon my black priority debit card.

The old man frowned and said. "Mr. Nine, is that real?" the old man asked surprised while frowning.

'Is he the young master of an invisible conglomerate family? So that's why he can be this powerful?' James thought in his mind.

"Of course! You'll see the authenticity when I manage to pay for this meal!" I emphasized.

"Well, then I'll wait here and not disturb your meal while you eat some food." James said with a genuine smile.

"Do as you please." I said indifferently waving my hand.

After finishing the food, the waiter brought the bill along with the EDC.

I gave the debit card to the waiter and made the payment. After it was successful, the old man James, who had been listening since the waiter came to me, began to trust him with an admiring look from across the place where I was eating.

"How is it? Do you believe me now?" I asked the old man flatly. "Forgive this stup*d old.. sir, for daring to disbelieve in your greatness." Said James who sat half-bent in salute.

'This old man knows how to behave. Experience is above knowledge.' I sighed.

"Alright then I'll be going, make sure you don't mess with this thing." I said to James and handed him my priority debit card.

"Didn't dare, sir." Said James, bowing his head and taking it from my hand.

"Be careful on the road sir." James escorted my departure by following me from behind and stopped at the door of the restaurant.

Then I told Susan that I would send her home first to deal with the old man.

Susan looked sad, and I comforted her by promising her to continue being alone with her when the business was over. Susan finally agreed and reluctantly accepted my suggestion.

We both walked towards the hospital parking lot to pick up Susan's car that was parked there.

When we arrived at the line of parked cars, Susan led the way and walked towards the exotic car in front of her. it was a Ferrari 448 Pista.

'Is this Susan's car? In the past few years, after graduating from college, she had a good career despite dividing her focus to care for me who was in a coma?' I wondered.

"Susan, is this your car?" I asked when I received the car keys from her hand.

She replied jokingly.

"Maybe? Guess what?" She asked with her sweet smile.

"I guess you're just borrowing it, right?" I doubted the ownership of this Ferrari 488 Pista.

"What a stup*d! Who would lend such a luxurious car for free?!!" Susan said looking annoyed.

"It could be if it was your family lending it?" I speculated with a stiff grin.

"Did my family look wealthy before?" Asked Susan with a frown.

"um.. I don't know..." I replied hesitantly as I couldn't remember.

"hmph!" She turned around and rushed towards the passenger seat.

"Hurry up and open it!" She shouted angrily at me.

"Fine..." I pressed the unlock button on the car key and we both got in.

"I'm sorry, please don't be angry, I was just joking... okay?" I tried to seduce him not to be angry anymore while starting the Ferrari.

"Hmph!" Susan looked away and faced out the car window.

'huuh...' I sighed and thought to myself.

'Is it wrong for me to doubt the ownership of a car worth hundreds of thousands of dollars?'

I stepped on the gas and drove out of the parking lot leaving the Segaris General Hospital area.

On the street, Susan told me that she asked to be dropped off at the elementary school not far from the apartment where we used to live.

She wanted to pick up someone.

"Who do you want to pick up? Is he/she your nephew?" I asked reluctantly.

Susan just glanced at me, the gaze from her glance felt very sharp. even though it was only for a moment then looked away again looking outside.

"I know it's privacy, and it's okay if you don't want to say it. I won't force you." I said in a quiet voice, afraid that she would scold me again.

"Y-you...!!!" sure enough, Susan was about to scold me and her face looked very furious. but she then sighed looked away again and said.

"Huft.. You'll know it when you see it." Susan speaking without turning her head to me.

Along the way, Susan was still looking outside. A few minutes later we arrived in front of the Integration Primary School.

Integration Primary School is one of the bona fide primary schools in the city of Tienji. seen from the school building which is nice and very spacious, a sturdy building with two floors there are many classrooms that form a horizontal U around the sports field which is adequate and spacious covering up to the front of the school gate.

I parked the car in the parking area located in front of the school gate. Before Susan got out of the car, she told me to wait in the car.

''Wait here, I'll go inside the school because the child I'm picking up is not allowed to go outside the school gate and wait in class."

Susan got out of the car and when she closed the car door I took the time to ask.

"What grade is that child in?"

Susan looked at me for a moment and said.

"One." he then walked away and entered the school building. as I watched his passing back, I thought to myself.

'I thought he was going to scold me again...first grade huh? That means the child is about 6 years old?'

Because of government regulations that require children under five to enter primary school at the age of 5, so that the younger generation in this country is easier to develop and become graduates at a young age.

In the car, I looked at a girl in school clothes who had just come out of the school gate. I looked closely at the little girl and to my surprise I realized that the girl looked a lot like... 'My face..?'

'No! this child looks just like Susan!' I shook my head and thought to myself.

"It can't be, right?" But if I look again, it's true that her appearance is similar to Susan's because her short haircut almost resembles Susan's short hair with a shiny black color and her hair is very smooth and straight.

''What an overly specific resemblance!'' I muttered still staring at the little girl standing in front of the school gate.

Even from inside the car, I could see her clearly because the parking lot was really very close to the school gate. The little girl seemed to be waiting for someone to pick her up. She was alone outside the school yard because it seemed like everyone else had gone home first.

It also signaled that Susan had also been late from the scheduled dismissal at this elementary school and the reason was because of me.

'Huh.. It seems like I've caused Susan a lot of trouble over the past 6 years, even after I realized? I don't know how to repay her?' I thought, sighing deeply.

Then I turned on the radio in the car and searched for the frequency of the channel that was broadcasting a song to break my tense mood from thinking about what happened to Susan.

Not long after, someone came up to the girl.

"Sweety pie.. It turns out you're here...! let's go home."

A middle-aged man approached the little girl. Seeing the little girl had been picked up by someone else, I sighed and said.

"Apparently I was wrong...! It turns out I was just thinking about nothing, hahaha." I laughed and shook my head. I felt it was too much to assume it was Susan's child.

Then the radio broadcast that was currently broadcasting a song that I had just listened to was suddenly cut off by a news.

A name tag on her partially covered school uniform, I could read the writing on the right side and it was Susan's last name!

'Tensed!'

My heart raced and my emotions suddenly overflowed after faintly sawing the name tag of that's girl, mentioned Susan's last name.

As the old man turned around, the girl's face was facing towards me and looked like she was saying "Susan" from the movement of her lips with sleepy eyes.

Seeing this, it slowly clarified my doubts.

'She really said Susan's name just now, didn't she?'

'Plus, her last name is also Lynette?'

My adrenaline rises and I really angry.

Coz this time, the girl was already fall asleep with her head resting on the middle-aged man's shoulder.

At first, I just want to stop the middle-aged man by detaining him for a while, and then call the police for something. However, it seems like there's no need for that now.
