Chapter 9 Guts First Mission and Magic Training?

A person can be seen training in a forest, laying in a pool of his own sweat and in deep thought as some tree can be seen cut down from where they originally stood in place. He then got into a Full Lotus a meditation position.

' lt's been a day since Guts has joined the Band of the Hawk, he still has his injury. I'll been training with my sword and trying to see though the Transparent world but that proving to be quite difficult probably because I'm not in combat right now. And when I'm not training with my sword, I've been trying to go into the shallow part of the Astral World, the Interstice but that also is proving difficult, I have to build a body to go into it.'

"Damn, I can't seem to do it."

This person can be see getting up from where he was sitting, putting his sword on his hip. And picking up four logs as he went back into camp, and as he was walking, he was in deep thought

' This will be so much better if I was knowledgeable on the working of the Astral World. But It's going to take some time for me to build a body to go into the Interstice.'

Sin can be seen entering a camp, caring four logs like it nothing, the other member of the band of the hawk look at him crazily, a big guy can be seen walking up to Sin and taking two logs from him.

" Thank, Pippin. This is firewood for the camp."

' I just couldn't leave all that wood there in that where I was training at.'

"Let take it over to the stockpile." Pippin said to me.

The two continued to walk until they got there and put the log of wood down, they continued to talk with each other, then Griffith call for all of the Band of the hawk. Explaining that there is a mission in a week.

' I haven't seen Guts, he must still be in his tent recovering I should apologize. I don't want to be on bad terms with the main character.' Sin then began going to Guts tent but see Corkus planning something. ' What going on here?' 

"Do you really want to kill him Corkus?"

"Yeah, he killed our friend."

"That's far enough." said Casca 

"Even if you wanted to kill him, he isn't someone you can beat. And Sin why are you with them?"

"huh? wait don't come to conclusion, I'm here for the exact opposite I'll have you know. I came to apologize. I'm just in the crossfire. And aren't we good friends?'

"Fine, and you Corkus go back to your tent, and I'll forget that this ever happened."

"Why he killed our friend, and you're taking his side? Maybe you're his whor-'

Casca Pull her sword out and put it on his neck.

"Say another word, and I'll have your head."

Corkus then leave after seeing that Casca was not playing around. Guts then walk out his tent, they both look at each other.

"That make two time I owe you. So I'll say thank for now."

"I was just following Griffith's orders. If I didn't who would bother with you." She then walks away. " Go ahead and get yourself killed in battle!"

'Damn, she way too much of a crash out.'

"I'm sorry about her, she can be quite mad at first but it'll get better.... I think? "

"why are you here? If it for your apologize you can save it, I'm fine."

"Even still sorry about your injury, we are comrade now so I hope we can get along with each other and I did enjoy that fight we had."

"Like I said I'm fine, but thank I guess." said like didn't know how to respond. with that Guts and Sin went to they own tent to rest and the dark night came over the night.

A Week Later

The Band of the Hawk can be seen in front of a castle gate getting ready to attack an enemy force. Griffith began talking.

"The enemy force is on top of that hill, they have about 2000 people. But our job is to set fire to enemy food supplies, so we'll take from the rear and move thought center of the enemy camp and go back to the castle gate directly at full speed."

"What about our support?"

"There is none."

"The Rear Guard will be.... Guts, and Sin. You two will see to it." Everyone was shocked. "You'll have to protect your allies, as we escape the enemy camp. It's a rough job."

"Can you do it?" Griffith asked both of us.

"Yeah, We got it." 

Everyone was suspicious if they could do it, but with that the castles gate open and the band of the hawk made their way to the back of the enemy camp as quietly as possible. As we made it, all of the Band of the hawk emerge of the tree line completely taking the enemy by surprise. The Band of the Hawk set fire to almost of all the tent with the food supplies and they gun powder. ' Why would they keep their food and gun powder in tent by each other?' The Band of the Hawk left as quickly as they came, it wasn't a battle but the one that did try to stop it were killed they were completely off guard. We quickly left the enemy camp, with me and Guts as the rear-guard. Cavalry knight quickly got on, they horse and started follow the Band of the Hawk thought the forest.

"Let's do this!"

The Knight started shooting arrow at us, the arrow missing me and Guts. They also swing their sword at me, but I parry it and slash him down, more of them were coming and continued to attack me with their sword I parry it a best a could and slash another one down, but another one took his place, I look over at Guts and help him out by slashing an enemy beside him. 'There is way too many enemies, here we just need to make to the castles gate.' An enemy was attacking Rickert me and Guts see this, then Guts thrust his sword into the enemy neck, and I slash his arm off. 

"Get Outta Here!!" Guts said to him as I look in back of us, and slash an enemy.

Me and Guts continue blocking attack, then they fire arrow at us and one of arrow hit me in the shoulder, and One arrow hit Guts Horse in it's neck falling down.

"Grab my hand Guts! " Guts grabs my hand and get on my horse.

We continue to ride until arrow are shot at the enemy, Griffth came back with Pippin and Judeau. They helped us and we retreated to the castles gate, as we got to the castles, cannons were lined up.

"We're Out, Scatter!!"

The cannons fired, making a massive explosion, hitting the enemy cavalry.
