Felix stood up crookedly. Gosh, he had no idea he would be so sore after that night. Had he foreseen the consequences awaiting him, perhaps he would not have allowed himself to have this experience. No, he would have allowed himself for it. In the end, it was worth it. He knew it.
"Are you okay?" asked one of the secretaries who had attended the morning meeting.
"Yes," he replied, trying to be natural. "My muscles have gone stiff."
"You work too much, Felix," the other noted with concern. "Like all of us. Although you probably do work for two people. I wish it would all be over now."
"Yes, me too," he admitted, gathering his papers.
