Making It Up To Them

Xue Luli looked at the children. Clearly they were in shock.

"Little Li... here eat" Xue Luli said as she opened the pack for her. She blew on the food to make sure that it wasn't too hot before she brought it close to her mouth. Little Li looked at her brothers who nodded in unison. They were scared that Xue Luli would hit her if she doesn't comply.

Xue Luli would be a fool if she didn't notice what was going on. The children were scared of her and reluctant.

But there was no resentment. That was a good thing right?.

Little Li quickly opened her mouth and ate the food

"Little Jin, Little Xi eat your food" Xue Luli said.

Lu Jin and Lu Xi didn't resit anymore and just did as they were told.

When they were eating, Xue Luli observed them secretly. These children were very thin. It's not as if they were poor, in fact the Lu family were the powerful family in the country.

They weren't lacking in anything.

It was all Xue Luli.

Anytime money was sent, she would ask the nanny to withdraw it and give it to her. She spent every thing on herself without thinking about her three children. She was really a terrible mother.

After eating to their heart's content, the children fell asleep.

Xue Luli couldn't bear to wake them so she asked the nurses to help her put them in the car.

When they got home, she woke Lu Jin and Lu Xi up and carried Lu Li who was still fast asleep inside her room.

Xue Luli went inside the bathroom and the reflection she saw on the mirror was quite appalling.

Her hair was uneven, her makeup was scary, honestly all that was missing was a witch's hat and her broom.

No wonder the nurses were weirdly looking at her.

Xue Luli brought out a scissors and cut her hair evenly. By the time she was done, her long, silky hair was now reaching her shoulders.

After that she washed her face, what she saw on the mirror made her open her mouth in shock. Xue Luli's natural beauty was unmatched. The more she looked at herself in the mirror, the more happier she got. Her daughter Lu Li is definitely a mini version of her.

While her sons looked like their father, her daughter looked like her.

Speaking of their father, Lu Jinhai, he had told her that he would be divorcing her when he comes back.

She had to find a way to compromise with Lu Jinhai because of the kids. She has been so unfair to them as their mother.

Now, more than anything, she really wants to make it up to them.

The next morning, Xue Luli took her bath very early. She looked at the clock. It was almost 8am. She needed to stock up the groceries in the kitchen. She wrote a letter for Little Jin before she left.
