Chapter 3 - Magical animals and how to create them

Time slowly passed on the disc as I was laying on soft sand of the beach and thinking about my life.

I was thinking about my past life and my family. I was also thinking about my new life and the possibilities that awaits me.

I wasn't really sad about dying. I mean sure I was sad that I won't see my family anymore but I wasn't going to cry about it.

I also had only few friends in my past life because of being introvert and most of them were online. So not much to lose there too.

I never had a girlfriend and was a disciple of Dao of Virginity sect.

But with this life I probably won't be virgin for a long time.

I won't be like some main characters in novels about creating worlds and wasn't going to instantly create angel for me to fuck. I will wait and find someone I'm really attracted to.

Preferably not created directly by me.

I waited seventeen years to hsve sex I can wait some time longer.

After taking some time to think things through I decided to move on. No need to keep thinking about past.

I took some time to travel and enjoy the world I created. I always liked nature. When I was a kid was I always spending a lot of time in parks and forests. Especially on holidays in my grandmother's house.

I also always loved mountains. Not really walking on them as I never was very physically fit person but the atmosphere there was great reward for hours of walking.

Beautiful seas full of colorfull fishes and beaches on lonely islands. Forests filled with different fauna and flora.

I was currently on my third week of traveling the world I created and I haven't even seen one entire continent.

The thoughts about how many things will be there for me to see were making me grin.

But walking around alone started to be somewhat uncomfortable. I was still a human at the core, and humans were social beings.

Even introverts like me had to talk to someone from time to time.

So I decided to create my first life other than bacterias.

I wasn't going to create anything humanoid yet. It was no time for it. But I decided that something similar to a pet would be great.

I had a dog and a cat in my past life and I really loved them. But I wasn't going to create neither of them of course.

I mean why would you want a cat or a dog when you can have a...Velociraptor.

Yes I created a Velociraptor.

It was the Velociraptor with feathers it was completely white, because white was my favorite colour. Had silver eyes with slits in them that looked like cats eyes, and silver feathers on its tail.

The feathers weren't normal feathers either because in need he could harden them and they became something akin to titanium daggers.

He was extremely fast and agile.

After looking at my creation that was currently sleeping I took it in my hands. It was still small as I decided that I want it to be created as a little cub, or whatever you call small Velociraptor...

After cuddling it for a moment I decided that as it was going to be my first life creation I could also make it my first magical one.

I decided that there will be many different types of magicians in my world. By magicians I mean anyone who uses mana.

Mana was an energy that filled the entire universe I created. It was everywhere and came from another dimension by small holes that were everywhere.

In some places there were more holes than in others. It made it so that some islands or caves that had a lot more of mana than others. The most mana potent place was of course the mountain in the middle of the disc.

There were multiple islands that were full of it and even a continent that had a lot of mana. It was the continent where Kong's and Yetis lived and also the one I was traveling on right now. But non of them could match the Heavenly Pillar.

That was what I started calling it.

I told you that I was bad at naming things.

To use mana one had to have something I called magical seed.

When you ate it, it attached a bit of itself into your soul and allowed you to feel and use mana.

I took the magical seed I just created and put it inside the Velocilaptors mouth. I pushed it inside and made it swallow it.

The seed not only gave the ability to feel mana but also increased intelligence and strength of physical body.

The Velocilaptors body glowed in blue for a moment and stopped after a few seconds.

It woke up next second. And looked at me.

I looked at its eyes that no longer had slits in them, but flowers. The flower was silver and eye itself was yellow.

The flower in its eyes was sign that this being had a magical seed in them.

I decided that different types of mages will have different flowers in different places.

Those with flowers as their eyes will be sorcerers. Each of them will have different ability and different power. Something like quirk in My Hero Academy but magical.

And you could see that someone has it looking at their eyes and not some bone in feets toes.

For the Velocilaptor I created I decided to give it power of flying. It will be traveling with me and when we finish our adventures on this continent I will continue with my creation process.

What I created world bigger than earth by eleven times I deserve a bit of vacation.

Magiraptor as I decided to call my Velociraptor was a great friend in my adventure. We walked all around the continent looking at nature and enjoying ourselves.

It had intelligence of twelve years old child so it wasn't the best partner for talk but it wasn't too bad either.

We sometimes hunted together and I have to say I didn't know that it was such fun. The excitement of coming closer to my prey and hunting it down after a chase was something great.

What was greater was the food we could enjoy after hunt though.

I never was a great cook but now that I'm omnipotent I can just make food from something by wishing it. And boy did it tasted godly.

I also decided to create a few more seeds with different abilities and give them to two more beings.

Namely one of the King Kongs and Yetis.

Both me and Magiraptor were standing now on the cliff full of caves that housed King Kong's... tribe? They weren't really intelligent only to the point of apes from earth.

And that only barely. They were quite barbarous and fought among themselves. The strongest one was the chief of them and if someone wanted to be one they had to defeat him in a battle.

We came down inside the caves and boy did it smelled bad. Did they ever heard of taking baths?

In one corner few big apes were bullying one small ape. It looked that this one was born weaker than the others and was bullied because of this.

The biggest ape from the bullies came to it and punched the small one in the gut.

The small ape was left on the ground having hard time breathing when they left him all beaten up.

I looked at it and then at the brown seed in my hands. Was I going to give it to him? Of course not why would I? I'm not the nicest person in the world and I never liked the weak bullied mc to overpowered one novels. No way I'm going to give it to him. When he gets some power he will probably do some sort of genocide on the apes because they bullied him.

Also it was primodal era if you read Chinese novels you know that here bigger beast eats smaller beast. Or something like that I don't remember really.

I walked to the biggest one and feed it the seed when it was alone. The seed I gave him was one that allowed him to use mana to reinforce itself. His body would be stronger than even the strongest apes. It would also be bigger, and have a bit more intelligence.

Not long after his body glowed in bronze color for a second before his red eyes turned into flowers. They actually looked like some sort of sharingan with their red black colour.

In the cold mountains full of snow and ice lived the Yeti tribe. They were similar to the Kong apes but only from their appearance.

The only difference was their paler skin and white fur.

But what really differed them was their behaviour. The Yetis rarely fought among themselves. They were much more united and similar to one big ape family.

They were also more intelligent than Kongs with mantality of something akin to five years old child.

I walked to the biggest and strongest of the young Yetis and feed him the icy blue seed in my hand. This one would give him ability of weak cryokinesis. He would be able to control ice. It will also slightly reinforce him physically and give him more intelligence.

I didn't have to wait long for him to glown icy blue for a moment and his icy blue eyes turn into a flowery pattern.

Turns out that it isn't very hard to create magical animals.
