The kidnap2

Nicole was still struggling to protect herself by curling into a fetus. it happened so fast that she squatted there staring at the car as it drove off with the same speed it came in with.

Meanwhile, Liam witnessed the event right before his eyes and hurriedly ran towards the car "hey! Hey! Sandra!" Liam shouted as he desperately ran after the car. "Stop the car." He shouted trying to catch up with the car. He tripped and managed to stand immediately but the car drove off the school premises.

He ran back to Nicole who was next to Sandra before she was abducted "who are those people? What happened?" he asked, trying to catch his breath. "Why did they abduct Sandra not you?" he began pulling her, breathing heavily. So many questions were going through his mind 'What will they gain by kidnapping Sandra? Nicole family was wealthy, they could pay any ransom they would have demanded, if they had abducted Nicole. Why kidnap Sandra?

"I don't know. I didn't not see their face." Nicole replied as she slowly stood up and began dusting her uniform. she didn't look frightened or worried but she wore an obvious fake worried expression.

Liam brushed his hair backwards with his hand in frustration. He was chatting with a friend that had walked up to him earlier, before they kidnapped Sandra right before his eyes. He didn't get to see the kidnapper's faces as well. They were all putting on black masks.

"are you kids fine?" a security man approached them.

"yes…they took Sandra." Nicole began to sob. Fake sob.

"everything is fine. did you see their face?" the security man asked, patting her head. Gently trying to calm the her down because she looked devastated.

"nothing is fine. You should be going after them not checking on people who are unharmed. Is this what you are paid for? They took my sister." Liam turned and shouted. "security men…" he mimicked "what security are you ensuring us? You easily let them inside the school to abducted a student."

"we have gone after them, don't worry your sister will be fine. Please, I would love to know if any of you saw their faces or may know who they are?" security Man continued to make inquiries. So they can have a lead in capturing the culprit. He wasn't offended by what Liam said. It is well known that student of hillsview are arrogant and disrespectful. It is filled with rich kids, just few are from poor background. Even if he was offended, he won't be able to do anything. He can't tell whether Liam was from a rich family or not. he won't want to get on any rich kid's bad side because one bad word from them to their parents or school authorities would get him fired.

"no, they were putting on masks." Nicole replied and the security man turned to Liam. Liam helplessly gave him a nod.

"ok, you kids should return to your respective classes. I will ensure that your sister returns safe and sound. " He said gently gesturing to a block where their classroom should be.

Liam slowly bent to pick his bag from the floor. Then, he noticed a red piece of paper lying next to his bag and it was exactly where Sandra was abducted. It seemed that the kidnappers deliberately dropped it there. He picked it up.

*Liam oh Liam, you know where to find us. * That's what the red note states. It was left for Liam.

"what is that?" the security man asked Liam immediately he noticed he picked a red paper starring at it with curiosity.

"A note, let me have a look…" the security man reached out to collect the note but Nicole suddenly let out a loud scream. They both turned and saw Nicole lying almost in the gutter. she was struggling to support herself from falling completely into the gutter with her hands. Her hands were in the gutter while her legs were partially outside.

if not for her quick reflex she would have landed on her face and this would have caused a serious injury both on her face and neck.

The security man hurriedly helped her out and began dusting her. she sobbed loudly. Her palms were severely bruised and she couldn't stand properly. It seemed she sprained her ankle.

"weren't you looking at where you are stepping on?" the security man questioned her. How didn't she notice that there was a gutter behind her. "please take her to the first aid room." He asked Liam politely and immediately reached out to collect the paper again. "…And please give me that paper it might have a thing to do with your sister's kidnap"

Liam handed the letter to him and took Nicole's arm from the security man to support her. Nicole frowned when he saw the Security man has collected the paper. She fell into the gutter for nothing.

"who is Liam?" the security man asked curiously checking the note.

"am the one."

The security man stared at him for sometimes before he asked "is there anybody you suspect? Maybe someone you are in bad terms with."

Liam racked his brain once again. He had thought about that a few seconds later after he saw the message. He Crosschecked whether he offended any adult. "…nobody". He solidly replied him.

"think…there might be. The note shows that you might know where the kidnappers are." The security man urged him.

"…"

*am a bad man…* the security man's phone rang.

"hello, have you gotten any trace on them?" he asked someone on the other side of the phone, his colleague.

"..."

"west town? okay…check the CCTV cameras starting from where we lost the car. West town is a small town; we will be able to find them easily. Search among the potential estates. The kidnappers must be around there. The note they left behind for the boy they abducted his sister is rear material that could only be afforded by the wealthy families…" He hung up the call.

"they took her to west town?" Liam who have been paying attention to his call asked curiously.

"yes, do you know anyone who stays at west town?" the security man answered as he tucks his mobile phone back into his pants.

"no, I don't". He replied as he thought of any person he knew that resided at West town. It would be a tout, that would send hit men to kidnap a student.

"Alright, don't worry. Your sister will be back safely." the security man assured them before he looked at Nicole with a worried face. "Take her to the first aid room please." Liam nodded and helped Nicole towards the first aid room.

"let go! Free me!" Nicole rebuked. She forcefully pushed off Liam's hand and stood up properly when she was sure that they were out of sight of the security man. "am fine, there is no need to worry about me." she said this and immediately walked forward.

"I know! I wasn't worried." Liam shouted firmly. He knew she was faking when he noticed she changed the leg she was limping with. His reply made Nicole to froze on the spot before she turned to look at him wondering how he knew. Didn't she perform well? She fell into the gutter for this. Was it completely for nothing.

Liam majestically walked up to her with an oppressing aura around him and asked softly. Although his voice was soft, it still sounded cold. "who kidnapped my sister? you know the person".

She smirked and decided not to inquire how he knew she was pretending "humph…and I thought you were completely dumb. She wasn't kidnapped." She replied casually. She stood up properly adjusting and brushing off the dust on her uniform properly.

"then what was that? She was borrowed?" he ranged off as his eye widen. His face turned red due to anger. He was beginning to lose his temper. He took few breaths to calm himself down before he said "tell me who the kidnappers are and where they kidnapped Sandra to." he said gently. One could tell he was trying so hard to suppress his anger.

"Liam, don't be dumb. it's obviously James. you can't recognize your friend's hand writing. He left a note for you not to get worked up yet you want to give him up to the security by handing the note over to them. They might trace his writing, fool. Both you and your sister really wants James to be expelled from this school. Once, the school finds out he is behind this. Fath...his father will send him away. I won't let that happen" she said firmly and looked away. Looking so determined.

"James?" Liam repeated after her and knitted his eyebrows together. All she had said was nonsense. his brain only captured the name she mentioned 'James'. He slowly altered with bewilderment "kidnapped…"

"Liam!!" a much older male student called out to Liam with a mobile phone on his hand. "James wants to speak to you." He said as he walked up to him.

On hearing the name of the person behind the call, James, Sandra's kidnapper. Liam rush towards the male student, with force he quickly snatched the phone from his hand "James! What are you up to this time?" he shouted furiously to the person on the other side of the phone. He was really angry.
