"dude keep cool. What I did was inappropriate. I should have politely asked Sandra over than to send thugs to get her. tsk …I knew you would react like this. That's exactly the reason why I left a note for you. guy chill before you bath people around you with your blood. You might blow up anytime soon" James answered sarcastically, intentionally annoying Liam more. A note? What did he write in the note that could possibly calm Liam down? He knew that Liam doesn't enjoy unnecessary jokes, especially when his sister is involved.

"what rubbish is that?" he furiously raised his voice. "James whatever you are up to, leave my sister out of it. when did this start? Why Sandra? I thought we are friends. You should avoid messing with people close to me." he was furious and at the same time worried about his sister. he didn't trust her with James.

James has always been mischievous. Liam believed that there was no way Sandra will be safe with him. He had seen what had happened to other students that were involved in his plans to rebel against his father. Either they were expelled, punished by the school or they were severally injured.

He had no compassion for those student. All he cared about was to bring his father down but Liam never expected him to involve Sandra. they had been friends since kindergarten and practically knew everything going on about each other's live. He practically saw James as his brother. he had always understood his reason for his behavior but he doesn't get why he would involve Sandra?

"I'm sorry you saw that; those men were a bit harsh. I wasn't the one that trained them, when am of age to train my men you would see the difference..." James began blabbering about something that Liam was not interested in to annoy him more. he could tell from his voice that he wasn't annoyed enough. His high bass voice was slowly reducing indicating he was calming down. he needed to agitate Liam more to the extent he will start cursing him. Where is the fun if he calms down quickly?

"Shut up and tell me where my sister is? What are you up? nothing should happen to her. I want to see her in this school in the next 10 minute." He shouted to the person at the other side of the phone. Not even taken back by his reply, James has always been like that, sprouting rubbish. he shouldn't have included Sandra in his rebel against his father. He was curious to know why James had kidnapped Sandra. He could have just called her and talked about it.

"chill bro, it's not like I would harm your sister. Why are you overeacting? Don't you trust me? I also see Sandra as my sister as well." James sounded sincere but mischievous when he said that. He dropped the conversation not giving him a reply to his question.

"Where are you?" Liam shouted out of rage with a scowled face. he didn't have the vibe to play the game of sentence with him "I don't care what you are up to, just return my sister to me. No harm should be inflicted on her." He was boiling, releasing cold chills around him as he remembered how the kidnappers had knocked Sandra off earlier. They didn't care whether she was a child and hit her on the neck really hard.

Charles was stunned to see Liam like this. he froze, it wasn't like Liam to behave like this. He had always controlled his temper, even when someone had harmed him badly. Why was he overeacting?

Charles whispered to Nicole "what is going on?".

"mind your business." Nicole sneered and her eyes was still fixed on Liam, she replied Charles rudely and arrogantly. She was shocked as well to see the calm mannered Liam rage off. This was the first time she had seen Liam lose his composure and control over his emotion. 'it's just his sister. Why is he reacting like he is about to lose his lover like those actors in the movies?' she thought, still staring at him.

"It was just a prank. Cool down bro, I just to need retrieve an item with your sister's help. Why don't you come over? What are you still waiting for if you are that worried about her. I bet it would be fun. haha…I knew you will be like this" he laughed loudly from the other side of the phone.

"is everything a joke to you?" Liam shouted squeezing the phone.

"haha I don't know…maybe. The world is a joke. Bye man" he laughed and immediately ended the call. There was sadness in his tone when he said "the world is a joke". His laughter couldn't hide the sorrow in his voice.

"if I get my hands on you. you will regret what you had done today." He murmured as he put the phone away from his ear and handed it to Charles. He turned to Nicole "both of you planned this right? Since when did you two get close? What is he up to?" he questioned Nicole suspiciously, wondering how they started working together and why she would collide with James to Kidnap Sandra? He knew that both her and James were cat and dog. They never cross each other path without fighting. So something was definitely amiss.

"I overheard him…Actually I saw him this morning getting down from that same red car the kidnappers came with. I was surprised that the kidnappers came with that same car." Nicole stammered a little, staring straight into his eyes, maintaining her composure. "So I guessed he was involved."

"why then were you trying to cover up for him earlier? You were afraid he would be discovered by the security men? Since when did you start worrying for him?" Liam asked curiously. He knew she wasn't telling the truth. Wondered the reason, she was worried about him to the extent of hurting herself? Someone who greatly care about her looks fell into the gutter for her enemy. Isn't it suspicious? "what did you two plan?" he shouted angrily.

Nicole looked at Charles whose eyes and ears were wield open Listening to their conversion. She eyed him to leave because she knew he will snitch on them to the principle. He was reluctant to leave but he had to because he knew that the problem that will arise for annoying a rich kid he won't be able to handle. Even the principal whom he would be giving the information to wont help him.

Nicole watched him leave before she turned back to Liam. She remained silent for some second with an indifferent expression. She thought of an excuse but nothing came to her mind before she said "Liam, you have found your sister? what other business do you have with me. Go get her?" she turned to leave, trying to elude his questions. She has the right not to explain to him, anyway, she wasn't involved. She thought to herself.

"you were worried about James your enemy not Sandra whom you to be your best friend. why is that?" Liam shouted out, making her to halt. He needed to know what was going on. Her action showed that she was definitely hiding something. One thing he had noticed about her was that she doesn't participate in things that will be of no value to her.

She frowned her face and instantly straightened it. Trying so hard not to disclose her secrets to Liam. She slowly turned to Liam and said "I was worried about Sandra just like you. I wonder if you are cause if you were, you wouldn't be here acting all smart. You know your friend quite well. He can't be trusted" With that said. She turned and walked away, not looking back.

"wait, tell your chauffeur to drive me to James place. I will wait outside the gate." He shouted out, hoping she would agree.

"sure" she replied not looking back with her head up. She brought out her phone and dialed some digit. She placed the phone next to her ear. Nicole's parent pays her chauffeur extra amount to wait for his daughter till school was over for the day, Due to her arrogance and impatience, she doesn't like to be kept waiting. Nicole was the only daughter of a wealthy family. It was rumoured that her family status was equals that of James but she wasn't a rebel like James. She was all about herself.

Liam quickly ran towards the denser part of the garden while pushing some branches till the sight of broken fence came to his view. He climbed over the fence and stood there waiting for Nicole's chauffeur.

"up you go sleeping beauty. Yes..." James said smiling widely as Sandra slowly opened her eyes "I wondered, if I should wake the sleeping beauty up with a kiss. you made me wait for such a long time. Don't worry I didn't dare do that because I don't want to find my head on a spike when Liam finds out. it won't be funny. so, all I could do was to squat here watching you sleep. I'm a gentle guy, ain't I?" he spread his arms, blushing at his own comment.

She held the back of her neck which was arching her. Sandra looked around trying to recognize the environment. she tried to figure out where she was and why James was in front of her, before her memory stormed back. "James? What are you doing here? Were you kidnapped as well". She asked scanning the environment. She moved her gaze from one object in the room to another until she realized that they were in someone's study. A simple spacious study.
