Chapter 120 Promise

Kexin walked into the main guest hall and muttered madly, "Abrafo, you bastard, if I see you again, I will chop off your legs and arms, I will turn you into a vase living person." She sat frantically on a chair in the main guest hall. 

Old Li asked, "My Lady, what do you want me to do with the food?" 

Kexin said angrily, "You can do however you want with it." 

Old Li turned to the four maids and said, "Heat the food and share it with the other maids." 

"Yes," the four maids said and walked to the kitchen. 

Old Li said, "My lady, if you have nothing else for me to do, I will prepare dinner." 

Kexin frowned madly and said, "Go." 

Kexin saw Lixin and Jin inside the guest hall. She stood up from the chair, walked frantically to Lixin, and sat on the chair next to Lixin. When Kexin entered the guest hall, she was so angry that she didn't realize that Lixin and Jin were inside the guest hall. 

Lixin handed the teacup to Jin and turned to look at Kexin. He asked, "Which servant has offended you? Should I punish them?" 

Kexin rolled her eyes at Lixin and said angrily, "Don't mention it." She hit the table hard, and the teacup fell to the ground, shattering into pieces. "I'm angry... Brother promised me that if we see Abrafo again, you will beat him up, capture him and cut out his tongue." 

Lixin asked, "You have to tell me why I need to do that to Abrafo. He is not our enemy." 

Kexin turned to look at Lixin and said, "I met him outside the door today. He came to beg for food. He told me that they lost their money and now that they have no money, they stay at the mortuary temple outside of the city. I kindly brought food, clothes, money, and even Doctor Long to check on their injuries, but when I got there..." She frowned angrily. "There was no body there, just coffins and dead people." 

Lixin chuckled, "You actually went there to find Abrafo and the others?" 

Kexin said, "I'm not looking for Abrafo. I'm looking for Yul and the others." 

Jin said, "My lady, next time if you are going somewhere, please tells one of us to check it out before you actually go. How about it, next time if we see Sir Abrafo, I will help you fight him?" 

Kexin said, "That's fine...but you can't pretend to lose to him just because of the incident in Magior City." 

Jin tried to please Kexin, smiling and saying, "I won't. The only way I can win a battle with Sir Abrafo is if he is willing to let me win." 

Kexin bit her lip angrily, "You. What do you mean?" 

Jin said, "My lady, you do know that Sir Abrafo is a man of great martial arts, and it would be difficult for me to win in a one-on-one fight with him in a fair fight." 

Hui rushed into the room and said breathlessly, "My Lord, not good." 

Jin asked, "What's the matter?" 

Hui said, "His Highness." 

Kexin suddenly stood up and grabbed Hui's arm. "Tell me, is Bong coming?" 

Hui said, "Yes, His Highness is coming, but." 

Kexin said, "Ah... Bong is here... I have to hide." She rushed out of the guest hall quickly. 

Heng and Feng walked into the carrying Bong. Lixin quickly rushed towards the men in black. "What happened to him?" Lixin asked. 

One of the men in black said, "His Royal Highness was injured...by the man who came to save the old man." 

Lixin said, "Take him to the guest room. Hui, you go get Doctor Long." Lixin looked at the five men. "Go rest and take care of your wounds." 

"Thank you, Lord Lixin," The five people said in unison and quickly left the guest hall. 

Jin said, "Prince Bong acted too recklessly." 

Lixin said, "Now we know that without the southern gatekeepers around, their skills are still good. Jin, let Ping and Shi continue to monitor their movements." 

Jin said, "Yes, my lord." 

Lixin sighed and said, "I need those two keys and I don't care what method you use to take it." He made a fist on his right hand. 

In the guest bedroom, Bong was lying on the bed, still unconscious. Lixin stared at Bong then turned to Dr. Long. He asked, "How badly injured is he?" 

Doctor Long said, "His Highness has a broken arm and two broken ribs on the left side. It will take two months to fully recover. During this time, His Highness should not lift heavy objects. I will make some medicine for His Highness." 

Lixin sighed and said, "Go... wait." Doctor Long stopped and turned to face Lixin. "Bring some honey when you bring the medicine. Bong doesn't like bitter medicine." 

Doctor Long left the room and Jin closed the door. 

Jin looked at Bong and said, "There are only fifteen days left before the annual competition. If word spreads about Prince Bong's injury, he may not be able to attend the welcome ceremony." 

Lixin said, "He was not one of the contestants, so his injury would not really affect the ceremony or the outcome of the competition." 

Bong groaned in pain, slowly stood up, and sat on the edge of the bed. "Lixin is right; my injury will not affect this year's competition. Jin, if you are too worried then don't tell anyone about my injuries," he said with a smile, but then he realized that every time he wanted to laugh, the injury on the left side of his chest hurt more than usual. 

Lixin turned around and looked at Bong wildly. "I shouldn't let you know about my mission," he said. 

"I'm not going to die from these small injuries," Bong laughed it off. "Just a broken arm and two broken ribs, it's nothing serious." 

Lixin said, "The seriousness of your current situation is that your physical condition may not allow you to participate in the welcome ceremony in fifteen days." 

Bong stood up from the bed, walked to the table where Lixin was sitting, sat down opposite Lixin, and said, "I will be sitting and watching the competition. I'm not entering Scattered Forest with you and other participants. I am still fit enough to participate in the ceremony." 

Lixin stared at Bong, and studied Bong for a while, and then he asked, "Are you plotting something behind my back?" 

Bong laughed, "Why would I do that?" 

Lixin said, "You have promised me that you will not follow me into Scattered Forest. If I meet you in the realm, I will break your legs." 

Bong said, "I won't participate, so don't worry. You know I don't care too much about this competition, and I also know that the title of Phoenix General is very important to you. I will not ruin it for you. I understand you don't like when others talking bad about you. We have been friends since childhood, and you know me best. I let nature take its course. Whoever treats me well, I will give him all my sincerity, and whoever treats me badly, I will give him the wrath of hell." 

Lixin said, "Do you dare to speak like this in front of Emperor Kai and Prince Gang?" 

Bong said, "I dare." 

Lixin threatened, "Prince Gang has more support from court officials than you." 

Bong said, "The support of court officials does not mean that Father will make him crown prince." 

Lixin sighed and said, "You still don't understand this simple truth. If one day you become the emperor, how will you govern the country? You and Prince Gang are half-brothers, but Prince Gang is more mature than you."

Lixin smiled and said, "This is what I mean when I say that Prince Gang is more mature than you." 

Bong said, "It doesn't matter. Let me stay at your house for a few days before returning to the palace. I'm afraid the empress will punish me again..." 

Lixin said, "Alright, if Her Highness asks, I will tell her that you are preparing for the competition." He looked at Bong. "Who hurt you? Why did you let them hurt you to this extent."

Bong slammed his good hand on the table and gritted his teeth. He said angrily, "I don't know his name, but if I see him again, I will tear the smile off his face. Cut him into pieces and feed him to the dogs." He coughed heavily, the anger in his heart rose. He reached out and took Lixin's hand. "Lixin, I want to help you get the Golden Egg. Lixin pulled his hand away and said, "You don't have to do anything for me. Remember your promise and don't enter Scattered Forest." 

Bong smiled and joked, "If you sleep with me tonight, I will never break my promise." 

Lixin smirked and said, "In your dream." 

Bong joked again, "I've dreamed of sleeping with you since I was a kid." 

Lixin said, "Your sweet words are only useful to the countless cute men in your yard." He stood up and walked to the door with Jin.

Bong asked flirtatiously, "Are you rejecting me?" 

Lixin turned to Bong and smiled, "Your Highness, I'm afraid you have to sleep alone tonight." 

Bong chuckled and found that his chest still hurt when he laughed. He took a deep breath and said with a smile, "You're not my type either." 

Lixin said, "Have a good rest. I'll ask Dr. Long to bring you medicine later." He walked out of the room and Jin closed the door. 

When Lixin left the room, Bong finally felt severe pain in his chest and let out a low cry. He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth. "You annoyed bastard, if we ever meet again. I will tie you to the bed and fuck you until you pass out."
