Giant rats were moving here and there. One of the rats got its gaze on Selena Snowheart and it dashed towards where she was with its claw to tear apart the prey in front of it to shreds.

Selena didn't have time to react she defended herself by taking the claw attack to her hands.

One of the housemaids just fired a shot at the giant rat to save their mistress.

"Bang, Bang, Bang"

Three consecutive shots were fired but they didn't do much damage to this evolved monster's rat. The shot just slowed it down a bit and made it angry.

The rat just jumped from its place and attacked the maid who had shot it and torn her apart into pieces and it started to eat her body parts one by one as it wasn't satisfied to go with its anger even after killing its prey.

Both mother & daughter were terrified by the action of this rat.

When the rat was done by eating most of the parts of the maid it once again landed its gaze on Selena and it went to attack her so that this time it can kill the prey with a perfect shot.

Selena was so terrified that she couldn't think of what to do. Her greatest worry was how can she save her daughter Erina and get her safe. That was all going through her head.

Erina clams herself and tries to pick up some broken pieces of glass and so she runs towards where her mother was and makes a counter-attack and hits the vital point of the rat without giving it any second thought. She gets going on slashing without giving any time for the rat to defend itself. First of all the rat got attacked without it noticing that someone so young was after its life.

"How dare you... ? You piece of shit. Die, Die Die...Just Die" She yelled and kept on slashing.

The poor giant rat who is already dead had its life on the way back for another cycle of reincarnation.

" What is that voice? What is some green screen that appears in my retina?" Erina asked herself. Then she went near her mother to look if she was alright.

"I'm fine little Er but are you alright you didn't get hurt did you," Selena asked her daughter & continued " How did you kill that giant rat? "

"It's just nothing mom it's just grown in size that's all, So I could easily kill it."

" Ya I know that but how were you able to kill it so easily? Early that maid Jenny shot that rat with a gun but still it didn't die, so how were you able to do it? "

"Mom you know that I like animals a lot and I study anatomy & biology. So it isn't new to know one or two vital parts of that rat He he" Erina said with a creepy smile on her face. Her hands were all stained with blood.

Selena got goosebumps all over her skin by hearing her daughter talk about such stuff like it wasn't anything. ' Is she, my daughter? And is it a 10-year-old girl who should say ' she taught herself?

"Madam & Young miss are you alright " Maria other 2 maids came running towards the hallway. They had been outside to get some goods for their daily necessity but after finishing purchasing the stuff and all big changes happened after the big earthquake so they ran towards the mansion to check on their madam & miss in a hurry so they were sweating & they looked like they were messed up.

" Yes, we are fine but are you alright? Didn't you guys get hurt outside? "Selena asked Maria standing up with the help of her daughter

"No madam we didn't get in a hurry you don't need to worry about us, after all, we are servants serving you so no need to be concerned about our safety you need to carry about your safety first".Maria replied respectfully.

"No, you shouldn't say something like that Maria you know how we treat all the staff & workers working here with respect. Sadly, we couldn't react fast in time otherwise we could avoid the tragedy of losing Jenny".Selena said with a very sad look on her face. Her tone also indicated that she cared about the workers, working at their mansion.

"Madam no need to feel sorry, anyone in your situation would have made the same thing. And she will feel happy that she could save your life because ma'am you are the one who rescue her from those smugglers. But first, we need to tend your wound, and we need to get to a safer location. Let's move to our underground base first". Maria said them while holding Madam's hand.

"Yes, mom let's treat your wounds and wait for dad & brother & sisters to come back. Brother will be angry if he sees that you got hurt". Erina said to her mother.

"Ok dear but first let's give a proper burial to Jenny and move". Selena said this to the maids present.

"Ok mom Meanwhile, let me check this game-like stuff that appeared earlier," Erina said to her mother, and then she continued " Show status"
