Chapter Thirty .. Suzzy has ran away

Jakes was so heart hardened that he refused to listen to Eloise .

He threw the sets of rings he made specially for Eloise into the bin and acted based on his anger .

He told Eloise to go out of his life and Eloise didn't hesitate to do that .The next morning , Jakes went out looking for Eloise at all the places he thought she could go but didn't find her .

Eloise had intentionally hid herself away from him and also wanted to punish him for his misdeeds by keeping the truth of the identity of their unborn child away from him .

Jakes never gave up looking for Eloise but Eloise hid right under his nose in Belton .

Ten years later ,Jakes moved to Los Angeles and started his life at fresh over there but his heart only loved Eloise and he never gave up searching for her .There was no day he didn't blame himself for letting Eloise go .

Even after eighteen years ,he only had Eloise in mind .

Jakes loved Eloise so much that he constantly went to Belton to look for her but he didn't find her .He couldn't let go off her memories and even after eighteen years ,he still holds only Eloise in his heart .

He'd constantly say to himself that none can touch like Eloise ,none can kiss like Eloise and none can make me feel like Eloise does .

After recalling every single detail of how he and Eloise separated ,he kept on looking at the ceiling all night because the day had been packed .

He had gotten his daughter but had lost his love .Even though his ego didn't allow him to accept Eloise's death ,he preferred being stuck with her memories .Jakes was awaken up suddenly when his phone rang ."Hello! sir ..."The voice at the other end said .

"Yea..."After what he heard ,he pulled his phone from his ears .The call was from the hospital where Suzzy was receiving treatment .

The nurse told Jakes that Suzzy had ran away .Jakes unable to take the shock drove quickly to Apollo International Hospital .

"How can my daughter get lost in such a big hospital ? "Jakes asked furiously without noticing that he had called Suzzy his daughter at an instance ."Sir ,we are sor...sorry !"The director of the hospital pleaded ."You are sorry ?! Is that so ?! I thought you were organized in this hospital ,huh ?! Is this how you treat your patients ?! "Jakes yelled at them angrily ."Find my daughter before noon or else I will close down this hospital !

You know I don't make empty threats !"Everyone knew Jakes' threats were not to be taken as jokes .

He runs the entire Los Angeles City as he was richest .

After days of searching for Suzzy , Jakes' men whom he had thrown onto the streets to patrol and search for his daughter got hold of Suzzy and nabbed her at Yucca Supermarket .She was working as a cleaner at the supermarket .

They grabbed her and sent her to one of the villas of Jakes .They had to drown her with hydroxyzine because she was trying to overpower them .

...CURRENT DAY ...

"Monalisa ..!"He called out still not paying attention to her .

He knew he had to give her a cold face to make her obey him but little did Suzzy know that she's a daddy's girl !

"Monalisa ? My name is not Monalisa ,I'm Susana Jenkins . Everyone calls me Suzzy for short !

At times ,some call me Susan too !"Suzzy crossed her arms to her chest and clarified her name in front of Jakes .

People shivered when they stood in front of Jakes Riddles to speak but Suzzy was shouting in his face and he still looked calm ."Who is this man at all ?

Who are you ? " Suzzy asked audaciously . "I'm your father ..!"Jakes answered calmly so that Suzzy wouldn't go unconscious out of shock .Though Suzzy noticed their resemblance ,she thought of it as a coincidence .Eloise didn't mention or talk about her father constantly .

It was only on times she insisted with tears .

While Suzzy stood there lost in thoughts ,Jakes noticed her absolute impression and thought of it as wise to tell her the whole truth later .

For now ,he had to lie to her by telling her that he adopted her .

All he needed was for Suzzy to love him and not hate him for not being there initially for she and her mother .

If he couldn't love Eloise enough , he'd prefer loving his daughter to his last breath but if telling her the truth would hurt her feelings and draw her away from him then , he'd rather lie to her for now ."I mean ,I have adopted you ..!"Jakes said simply , with his voice clear and simple .

Suzzy looked stunned not being able to digest what she just heard .

In such a long time ,when Jakes said that he was her father ,she thought she had finally found her dad but it wasn't true.

Her dreams got shattered when Jakes told her he adopted her .

"What ? You mean you adopted me ? No sir ,you can't do that !

How will I look for my father now ? I promise Mama that I will look for my father !

Sir ,please take back your decision and find a way to dissolve the adoption papers because I need to go and look for my father !"Suzzy desperately said and Jakes got to know that Suzzy was actually looking for her father which was him .

"Is that so ? Were you looking for your father that bad ?

Tell me ,do you know where he is ? "Jakes asked and sought answers from Suzzy .

"I left for Los Angeles after burying my mother in Belton .

I had only one thing in mind and that was to find my father so that he could give me a better life and a better future .

I just wanted to complete my education but sadly ,I got robbed by some kids when I got Los Angeles .I ran after them and got hold of them ."
