Chapter 106.. deliberating on pendant

"I know she won't take it easy but why do I feel as if you will be the one who's most hurt because you still love me , isn't it ? "Jakes said poking Eloise's nose with his index finger .

"Ha! wake up from your sleep Jakes Riddles .

Me ? Love you ? You must be kidding me ,I don't love you instead I hate you and your presence bores me ."Eloise also hit her index finger against Jakes' chest .

"You can't deceive me Eloise and you know you can't deceive yourself either .Earlier you were stealing a kiss from me and I caught you red handed in the act ,will you deny that ? "Jakes said to Eloise who was squeezing the edges of her nightgown .

"Haha! haha ! Jakes ,you are so funny to think that I still feel something for you .

It's quite unfortunate that in order to reach for a glass of water to quench my thirst ,I had to cross over you .

Hey listen ,I had no intention of crossing you over but it happened anyways so you can't blame me .

Don't day dream ,I'm going to shower up .Use the guest room instead ,your clothes are already lying there waiting for you ."Eloise then entered the bathroom to shower up .

Since Nicholas and Stephanie were on a business trip to Japan ,the house was now left for Eloise whose daughter and husband had joined her after Joan left for work .

"Woow! you both look amazing ."Suzzy complimented both her parents after they individually came out of their rooms downstairs .

"You look really gorgeous in your baggy trousers ,princess ."Jakes also complimented Suzzy with a shoulder hug .

"Her chic top and ballerinas are just like mine ,no doubt ,she took her sense of fashion from me ."Eloise also flattered herself a bit with the compliment .

"Oh mummy ! you are so sweet .Now you both should come with me .."Suzzy pulled both her parents to the kitchen .

"Talaaaa! we are finally here ."Suzzy said happily .

"Baby ,what are we doing here ? Aren't we going to have breakfast anymore ? "Eloise asked Suzzy who was already aligning some vegetables on the table .

"Exactly mummy ,we will have breakfast but you both must prepare the food .

You and daddy will prepare breakfast today and that's why I asked the maidservants to take rest ."Suzzy picked a few ingredients from the refrigerator as well and aligned them on the table .

"What! "Eloise and Jakes both exclaimed .

"Oh please you guys , don't spoil the fun .Mummy ,why don't you tell daddy that we used to do this while in Belton .

And so now ,you both will cook for me to eat .

No more arguments ,I'm about going live on my vlog so you guys should get ready .

The ingredients for the croquettes recipe and the lemon curds are all set ."Suzzy said and picked up her phone to go live on her vlog .

"Hey squad mates , today's very special , it's not about my fashion and style today but about my parents special cooking .

We are about to prepare our breakfast together ,please enjoy ..bye ! "Suzzy cut short the video .

"Mummy ! daddy ! what are you both waiting for ?

Please start ,pleaseeeeeee! "Suzzy told her parents .

"The problem is not about the cooking , it's about your darling father ,he doesn't know how to cook .

He doesn't know how to hold a knife and neither can he even prepare coffee for himself ."Eloise said to Jakes who had pocketed his hands in his pockets .

"That's true actually princess but no worries ,your mother can't beat me in cooking ."Jakes flattered himself .

"Hey , don't flatter yourself alright ? It's not as if you can even boil water .."Eloise teased .

"Okay ! okay ! okay ! dear parents ,I know you can work together .

Oh mummy , don't do that to daddy ,I know he's not a perfect cook but trust me ,he can help you out .

Alright ,start dear parents ,I'm going live again on my vlog ..."Suzzy went live again and recorded the whole cooking show of her parents .

Suzzy spent the whole day with her parents going hiking and biking and eating their favourite meals .

"Look at her , she's so happy right ? "Eloise asked Jakes who stood by her recording Suzzy's horse riding on the park .

She was filled with so much happiness that she rode the horse with immense joy .

"I've never seen her this happy ,I love her happiness .

I wish to see her like this always .."Jakes told Eloise who had folded her arms quietly .

"Do you think that she needs to know that we are getting our marriage annulled for good ?"Eloise asked with a worried face .

"I know my daughter ,she wouldn't take it lightly because all her life ,she has always wanted a complete family and now that she feels like everything is gonna be alright between us ,do you think we need to hurt her feelings by telling her the truth ? "Eloise asked with a worried face one more time .

Before Jakes could say anything Suzzy rushed to them .

"Mummy ! daddy ! did you see me ? I did so great in the horse riding ."Suzzy happily said almost jumping about like crazy .

However she sensed that something was definitely not right between both her parents as their facial expressions had both changed .

"What is it now ? Don't tell me that you both fought again ?"Suzzy asked her parents who eventually faked smiles across their faces .

"Nothing like that ,we are so happy that you are happy baby , isn't it Jakes ? "Eloise looked straight into Jakes' gaze and asked .

"Certainly Eloise .We aren't fighting princess ,instead we were deliberating on who will wear the pendant that we got for you .

Isn't it , Eloise ? "Jakes also asked and she nodded with a smile even though she knew that they were not deliberating on that .

"If you both got a pendant for me then you both should put it on me .

Come guys , put it on me .."Suzzy said in anticipation .

Both Eloise and Jakes put the pendant on Suzzy's neck .

It had a butterfly -shaped design just like her birthmark and both the pictures of her parents were also in it .
