LUCK STAT UNLOCKED

A/N: this was supposed to be part of the previous chapter, but the people that have read it might not see it if I update it, so I'll just post it as a new chapter

–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

As he lay down, he called out to the system in his mind.

[Ding]

[Sign in successful

Sign in reward:Shopping district; Vallora district]

"What!!"

Though he had been mentally prepared, Liam was still taken aback.

Zallora district was one of the most bustling shopping streets in North bridge. The immense traffic meant the shops along it changed hands frequently. Simply having a store there made it hard to lose money.

While this couldn't compare to the twenty billion from the Century Group in the short term. Renting out all the shops on that street would bring in a considerable income!

Even if Liam couldn't outright sell the Century Group, just collecting rent from a commercial street like Zallora district would be enough for him to live comfortably for the rest of his life.

"Alright! Tomorrow, I'll go and check out the Zallora district!" Liam rubbed his hands together excitedly.

"Now, let's see what prize I get today."

Liam pressed the reward button, and the wheel—colored in yellow, blue, and green—started to spin again.

"Here we go..."

"Eh, more trash as usual," Liam muttered.

These boosts might seem useless in the short term, but over time, they'd add up.

If Liam gained enough of these boosts, he could theoretically become a jack-of-all-trades—excelling in any field he touched.

Suddenly, Liam noticed a new notification: Luck Stat Adjustment. Could this mean his luck stat was about to improve?

Liam recalled that he'd always been an unlucky guy, having bad luck from childhood to now. In a card game, he once had an unbeatable hand but lost due to a ridiculous sequence of cards from his opponent. It seemed as though his luck had worsened so much that even the System had taken pity on him and decided to give him a luck stat boost.

This made Liam wonder if the System would automatically adjust any of his basic stats that fell below 30% of the average level.

"Status!"

[Ding]
