A groan resounded from Lin Min's swollen mouth, his lips had a barely red color, indicating he was ale right now, his hands were acting as a pillow as while he was lying on the coachman boot.

There was no abnormal wind twitching of leaves traveling that they weren't in the forest anymore.

When he first regained consciousness the first thing he heard was the Revenant system's harmless voice.

[Host, you are finally awake, you have been asleep for more than ten hours and snoring so loudly till I almost concluded that I bound with a frog ]

'Did you have to be so direct! it's your father that is a frog" Lin Min cursed the system in his heart, while he was wondering what happened.

He remembered passing out from blood loss and from the incessant yapping of that strange girl, but right now he felt his body condition was visibly better than before as if he had soaked in some hot springs with healing properties, his body felt lighter and most of the abnormalities within his body had vanished except his still injured eyes that he felt was now covered with a bandage.

when he groaned, Jun Tao immediately noticed him finally waking up and snickered while glaring at him with blood-shut eyes, "Fatty you finally decided to return to the land of the living, and here I thought you were going to drown in your saliva before we reach the town"

After saying that he laughed out loudly, he wasn't able to enjoy his casual time as the coach throughout the journey last night due to Lin Min's incessant snoring like a thousand-year-old croaking frog so he wasn't able to get any shut-eye, Disgust was written all over his face when he remembered the fatty drooling all over the place.

He almost threw the fatty out twice but the young miss monitored hum like a hawk so he failed both times.

He was bottling up grievance and felt happy that this annoying fatty was asleep.

Before Lin Min could reply, the familiar soft voice of the girl jn the carriage echoed, "uncle Tao please don't make things hard for him, he's been through a lot"

"Understood young miss" Jun Tao responds respectfully.

Lin Min's heart warmed up, and he immediately had a better impression of that girl that almost berated him to death when he was bleeding, and deep down he was already thinking of ways to reduce the excessive fat on his body

Then he felt the coach boot and he slowly sat up with clumsy movements and said with a bow face, "Thank you very much this young miss and great sir for saving me from the clutches of death"

His bow was indeed sincere but due to a lack of sense of direction his bow face empty air.

Jun Tao smiled being called great, while the young miss giggled at his laughable appearance before warmly saying, "it's not a big deal, unfortunately, we weren't able to help you recover your eyesight"

Lin Min could hear the sincerity in her tone, he hurriedly waved his hands and said, "I'm already satisfied with being alive young miss, and I will surely repay this favor one day to the best of my effort."

For someone like him who liked clearing his debts, it was inevitable

Jun Tao sneered upon gearing, "how do you think you can help us in your pitiful state, you bet..."

"Okay now that you feel a little better do you remember your family and where we can find them? We just arrived at the periphery of Azure sky town" she asked.

By the side Jun Tao's ears perked up, he couldn't wait to drop this snoring ogre off.

As for Lin Min, he smiled inwardly and he couldn't help but praise his luck, from his predecessor memories he belong to a small clan in Azure Sky town so he answered,

"I also stay in Azure sky town, the Lin Family manor, my mom is the potion maker there, if you don't mind can you please bring me over"

The young miss eyes lit up within the carriage and she thought of someone matching Lin Min's description before saying, " so you are the child of madam Huana, it so happens that I haven't seen her in a while and the Lin manor is just around the corner it wouldn't hurt to drop you off, uncle Jun take us to the Lin Manor quickly this poor boy's mother must have been worried sick"

"Thank you," Lin Min said with a smile then he leaned back to relax, despite his healthy body, he was right now experiencing fatigue, the scalding pain from his eyes hadn't reduced one bit, all he could do was relax and wait for the residual medicine in his body would bring an end to his pain soon.

Jun Tao frowned slightly when he received that order, he remembered the recent unrest from the clans, they have been clamoring for the city lord to give up his position after that event.

Jun Tao couldn't help but warn, "young miss, I'm afraid it isn't appropriate for you to go to the Lin clan personally, we can just let a guard lead him there"

Jun Tao wasn't convinced though and still wanted to protest, "But.."

"no But uncle Tao, I have made up my mind take us there immediately!" the voice directly interrupted Jun Tao with a domineering tone, but for some reason, it sounded cute in Lin Min's ears as he silently listened without interrupting.

Jun Tao was helpless, he was very familiar with that tone and what it, indicated, the young miss was really serious! and her mind was set, not even the city lord can change her mind now.
