Amidst the originally tense battlefield, a sudden influx of wizards from the British Ministry of Magic occurred.
While their combat abilities were average, and they lacked the training of Aurors, most of them hailed from Hogwarts and could at least cast basic spells like the disarming charm.
With the arrival of these wizards, the Ministry of Magic's forces now outnumbered the Alliance, causing a surge in morale among the Aurors.
However, it also sowed confusion within the Alliance's ranks.
At the battlefield's edge, Abernathy stood with Auston, quietly observing the unfolding events.
Originally, Auston had intended to join the fight, but Abernathy held him back, stating firmly, "You're still young, and your battlefield lies in the future."
Concerned about the overwhelming numbers on the opposing side, Auston asked, "What should I do now? There are too many of them!"
To this, Abernathy responded with a hint of disdain, "Do you think we, the Alliance, ever needed numerical superiority to win?"
Indeed, the Alliance wizards quickly regained their composure after the initial chaos.
Furthermore, the new Ministry of Magic wizards who had joined the fray possessed limited combat prowess, mostly utilizing spells like disarming charms.
Such spells posed little threat to the Alliance.
Wands knocked away? Easily resolved with a Stupefy.
Struggling to cast spells without a wand? Look at these wizards who have lived for decades; they can't cast without wands, either!
"Confundus!"
The Alliance swiftly adapted, casting Confundus to sow confusion among the new group of wizards.
Civil servants without Auror training were bewildered when their colleagues suddenly turned on them, shooting spells in every direction.
Seeing that their anticipated victory had not materialized, Minister Fudge wiped the sweat from his brow, feeling the pressure.
Fudge, protected by elite Aurors, approached Rufus, trembling, and inquired, "Rufus, what should we do now? We must end this battle quickly! The Aurors are one thing, but if any of these wizards from other departments are killed or injured, it's over for me as Minister of Magic."
Rufus suppressed his anger and replied, "Minister Fudge, isn't this situation precisely why you had them join the battle? If they had been here from the beginning, we wouldn't have been initially overwhelmed by the Alliance and lost so many Aurors."
Fudge countered, "Rufus, don't forget that you are the one who ignited this war. Furthermore, it's your responsibility as well as your Aurors'. If I lose my position as Minister due to this, you can forget about becoming the Director of the Auror Office!"
As Fudge and Rufus debated their course of action, two figures arrived at the battlefield's edge: Rosier and Cedric, who had come from Hogwarts.
Rosier had also regained her original appearance.
Standing on the sidelines with Auston, Abernathy keenly sensed the approaching figures behind him.
He raised his wand, ready to defend, only to see Rosier.
"How did you get here?" Abernathy asked in surprise, lowering his wand.
Rosier glanced at Abernathy and expressed dissatisfaction, "I'll settle the score with you later! Do you realize how much you disrupted the Young Lord's grand plan?"
Rosier casually pushed Cedric toward Auston.
"This is?"
Auston looked at the handsome boy beside him while Cedric anxiously scanned the battlefield, searching for his father.
In response to Auston's inquiry, Rosier replied casually, "He's a new recruit for the Alliance who needs training."
Upon hearing Rosier's answer, Auston lost interest.
However, Rosier continued, "Our Young Lord personally selected him, and he's likely to become the future of our Alliance, Wentworth's right-hand man."
Meanwhile, Abernathy still grappled with Rosier's earlier statement, nervously asking, "What plan did I disrupt for the Young Lord?"
Rosier glanced at Abernathy with a touch of resentment before responding, "Of course, it's the Little Master's plan for the Alliance to rise once more."
He then briefly recounted his conversation with Wentworth and the news about Voldemort's return the following year.
Upon hearing Rosier's words, Abernathy couldn't help but show frustration.
"Rosier, what should we do now?"
Rosier looked at the ongoing standoff on the battlefield, sighed, and said, "Anyway, this war can't continue. Cedric, remember what I told you!"
Cedric hesitated but nodded firmly.
Satisfied with Cedric's response, Rosier said, "Good, I believe in you, Cedric, because I believe in the Young Lord's vision."
He then turned to Auston and instructed, "Take out your wand, kid. Point it at Cedric, hold him hostage, and follow me!"
Rosier cast a sound-amplifying spell on himself, took a pendant from his pocket, raised it high, and announced loudly, "Everyone, cease your spells!"
His voice resonated across the battlefield. Initially, the Alliance didn't pay much attention, but someone spotted the pendant in Rosier's hand.
"It's our Lord's emblem!"
Instantly, the Alliance's excitement soared.
On the other side, the Ministry of Magic's wizards were still puzzling over the identity of this newcomer.
In the crowd, Cedric's father, Amos Diggory, recognized his son at a glance with a wand pointed at his head.
"Stop! That's my son! Stop!"
Amos desperately halted his colleagues, fearing they would harm his son.
In this manner, the once-anxious battlefield quickly fell into a tense but temporary calm.
