"Water Body Flicker?!"

Seeing the reward he had drawn, Furen felt a surge of joy. What he lacked most now was a body flicker technique to make up for his mobility shortcomings.

Water Body Flicker is a technique that allows one to move quickly within a water environment, instantly appearing at various locations in the water!

Even the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju, often used this technique.

Haku, feeling shy at Furen's request to see her true face, hesitated to speak. Furen then proposed, "How about we play a game?"

Haku looked at him, waiting for him to continue.

With a playful glint in his eyes, Furen said, "If I touch your nose, you take off your mask. If you touch my nose, I'll give you the sword. How about that?"

Haku paused for two seconds, then suddenly dashed toward Furen at high speed, tacitly agreeing to the game.

"Game on." As Haku rushed toward him, Furen spoke.

To evade her, Furen immediately stepped back onto the surface of the lake, and Haku followed suit, both of them playfully chasing each other across the water.

After a simple game of tag for several minutes, Haku said, "Furen-kun, you're standing in the wrong position."

On the water's surface, Haku quietly spoke, then formed hand seals. The visible form of Haku transformed into a puddle of water, disappearing from sight.

Feigning shock, Furen hurriedly looked around.

"Furen-kun, you're so mischievous~"

Haku's voice suddenly appeared behind him, filled with a rare joy.

This was the Water Body Flicker in action!

Haku had never felt as happy as she did now; when she was with Zabuza, every day was filled with endless killing and evading ambushes from the Mist's assassination squads.

"Perhaps this is the life I truly want…" In that moment, Haku thought to herself.

With a smile, Haku reached out, about to touch Furen's nose, when he suddenly turned around and playfully exclaimed, "This I can do too!"

Just as Haku was about to grab him, Furen smiled and, just like Haku did with Water Body Flicker, transformed into a puddle of water and reappeared not far away.

Thinking she had caught Furen, Haku's face under the mask puffed up in frustration.

"So Furen-kun can also use Water Body Flicker."

"Hehe…" Furen chuckled as he dodged her.

Now that both of them could use the Water Body Flicker technique, Haku and Furen began to move rapidly on the water's surface, their playful chase echoing like sweet banter between lovers.

"Furen-kun, aren't you tired?"

After chasing for a while, Haku could feel her chakra nearly depleting, panting heavily.

"You're tired, huh? Then…" Furen said, and in the blink of an eye, he used Water Body Flicker to appear in front of Haku, pushing her down onto the water's surface.

"If you're tired, just lie down," he said seriously.

Suddenly pushed down onto the water, Haku froze for a moment, staring up at Furen through the holes in her mask, speechless.

Gazing at Furen's face, Haku thought, "Furen-kun is really handsome…"

Furen raised his left hand and gently removed the mask from Haku's face.

A delicate visage, like that of a porcelain doll, appeared.

"Why do you wear a mask when you're so beautiful?" Furen asked, looking intently at Haku.

Haku's favorability towards you: 30%

"Draw." Furen commanded.

"Wind Water Attribute… It's a bit disappointing it's not Ice Release…" Furen thought to himself. "Ice Release must require 75% favorability to draw, right?"

As Furen focused on Haku beneath him for the draw, she suddenly seemed to make a decision. She raised her hand and gently scratched Furen's nose with her index finger.

"Furen-kun, I touched your nose."

"Um… you win."

"Here's your sword." Furen kept his word, retrieving the decapitating sword from his storage scroll.

Haku bent down to thank him, accepting the sword from Furen's hands.

"Thank you, Furen-kun," she said softly, then picked up her patterned mask from the water, putting it back on and shouldering the broken decapitating sword as she flickered away.

"Almost there…" Watching Haku leave, Furen mused, stroking his chin.
