Chapter 8: Apologize

Rosalinda's eyes followed the boy as he came towards her, he looked familiar, she could easily remember a school work but when it comes to faces, she would have a hard time remembering if she doesn't see them regularly, so she wondered where and how she knew him, then, he said ' Move to the other seat '

Rosalinda looked around and realized he was talking to her.

' Didn't you hear what I said?, I said move to the other seat 'he repeated.

' What difference does it make ' she retorted and every pair of eyes in the classroom looked at her because of how she responded.

' Well, that's my seat ' he just started at her.

' May I know what is the cause of these murmuring in my classroom? '

' Nothing Ma'am ' Rosalinda said and shifted to the seat beside him , as the class went in, two more students came in and every minute, Rosalinda would look at the boy and her mind was not fully in the classroom, she kept rummaging through through her head,lost in her own thoughts.

' Miss Smith? ' Mrs Brooks called seeing how she spaced out, she called few more times and she was back to earth.

' Yes ma'am '

' How do you find the value of x?

Rosalinda quickly looked at the board, thank goodness she has studied algebra before, she answered the question correctly.

The class went on and Rosalinda noticed the boy didn't say anything and the class ended, they had a few more classes and still he won't say anything and she wondered if anything was up with him.

Now it's lunch time and everyone went out except few , Felicity was nowhere to be found and the boy still sat there and somehow, it was so awkward, they stood to leave at the same time and their head collided.

Meanwhile, in the school cafeteria...

' So how did you know the new girl, um Roseland, is it ? Emma asked.

Felicity chuckled and replied ' It's Rosalinda not Roseland, ok? '

' Ok, so how do you know her? '

' We live in the same neighborhood, and they were actually nice people, I mean her parents '

' Isn't she kinda chubby, a little? '

' Well, I saw Levi and her running every morning '

' Who's Levi? '

' Her older brother, ok enough of that, I haven't seen Jade and Oliver, have you heard from them?

' They'll be back from their vacation tomorrow, gosh I miss the duo '

' I wonder where Rosalinda is '

' She'll be lonely in the class right now, I'm actually imagining the look on her face right now, she may not know the way here, why don't you help her out '

' Let's go together '

... In the classroom...

' Ouch, I'm sorry,she said and the boy massaged his forehead and said ' Why don't you focus on where you're going instead of bumping into me '

' Do you think I'm the only one at fault here?, you should also apologize ' she looked straight into his eyes.

' You think I should apologize? '

' Clearly '

Emma and Felicity walked in ' I don't think everything is fine right now, she's in trouble ' Emma said starring at them.

' Oh no ',they both walked towards them...

' Apologize, you can't do whatever you want just because you're handsome ',he didn't reply and started to walk away and Rosalinda pulled him back.

' What do you think you're doing ' he said.

' Leave him, Rosalinda ' Felicity said.

' He should apologize '

' Now, what do you think you're doing? ' someone said from the back.

' Not Ivy ' Felicity mumbled and everyone looked back.

' Leave him alone ' Ivy said

' Who are you to say that, I'm clearly not the only one at fault here, you aren't here in the first place so you can't come suddenly and ask me to let him go just like that '

' How dare you say that to me? '

' Aren't you going to say anything? ' ,he didn't reply but instead, he yanked her hands off him and walked away.

Rosalinda wanted to follow him but Hannah blocked her path, ' Leave him alone '

She wanted to reply but Felicity held her back and said ' It's okay, you don't want to cause trouble on your first day here, do you? '

Felicity took her hand and they went back to the cafeteria and not without glaring at Ivy, Emma followed them.

' How dare she ' Ivy fumed with anger.

... In the school cafeteria...

' Who the hell are they, are they lovers or twins? ' Rosalinda said with anger.

' Well, the boy we're talking about is Noah, Noah Wills '

' Noah Wills? ',now the name sounds familiar.

'and who is he and the girl? '

Emma explained ...and they had to go back to class right away.

She had to admit, her first day in this school was such a lousy one, she waited for Levi and Felicity at the entrance but Levi arrived first.

' How's today Rose? ' he said

' Somehow good but I got into a fight '

' What? '

' No, more like an argument '

' I hope the teachers didn't get involved '

' Luckily '

Felicity arrived and said ' I hope I didn't keep you guys waiting? '

' We just got here ' Levi said.

' Speak for yourself, didn't I always say that ? ' Rosalinda said.

' Sorry, I just got here '

' I'm sorry ' Felicity apologized and they made their way home.
