In the kingdom of Averon, there was a small rented place that Iris Borough managed to buy.
Iris Borough sat in her room all by herself surrounded by half-open scrolls and lots of self-protection runes laid in the walls.
She was currently sipping some very nice tea as she read the latest copy–which was actually an old scroll about the age of the Scourge.
"Running so rampant that most of us lived in fear during the night?" Iris couldn't help but laugh. She looked out the window and saw the sun still visible and yet found herself still very much afraid.
"At least this place is filled with a lot of people. But even that won't exactly stop things would it?" Iris sighed. "At least this house is the nicest I've ever been to."
