Making Her Life Miserable

This is going to be the third coffee she had made for Bryan and yet it didn't please him. It's either too sweet or too bitter.

After being employed by him, he taught her how he liked his coffee and asked her to prepare one for him.

The first coffee was too sweet while the second one was too bitter and needed more sugar. The third coffee... Well he claimed the coffee was too hot and claimed she wanted to hurt him.

She sighed loudly before she stormed out of his office. Bryan smiled thinking he had made her life miserable, but what happened next was unexpected. She brought the whole coffee machine into his office demanding he prepare it himself.

"What do you think you are doing?" Bryan asked anger clearly shown in his voice "And w hat is this?"

"Well since you asked I will tell you. This is a coffee machine."

Bryan rubbed his forehead in annoyance and said "I know what it is. But I don't know why you brought it here"

"ohhhh.... I brought if her so you can prepare it yourself since I'm still in the process of not getting your coffee right," Laura said brushing her hair away from her brow."

No one ever stares right back at him or demands something as ridiculous as this.

John who was in the office when it was happening behind to sense the tension and began to retract his step to get out of the office only to be halted by his boss

"And where do you think you are going to?" Bryan glared at him which made John stand still

"Miss Smith," Bryan called and strolled up to her, arching his back a little to meet her height. So that their faces were just a few inches apart, his eyes glaring at her resentfully

"You will prepare the coffee again like the way I told you to and it must be to my satisfaction"

'Handsome... He was definitely the most handsome guy she had ever come across!' she thought

He has sword-shaped eyebrows and shrewd dark eyes, a strong Greek nose in the middle of a perfectly sculpted face, he looked even much better than the stars on magazines.

However, his temperament was too cold, and his poker face was imprinted with four words, 'Don't mess with me' but she's determined to mess with him.

Laura smiled and moved her gaze from him

'she look cute when she smiled'

"I made the coffee like you wanted Mr Willson, but it didn't satisfy you at all which makes me think you don't even know how you like your own coffee"

John gasped 'someone should please help him beg this lady not to make his boss angry today'.

"Are we in a staring competition?" Leo interrupted. They both looked at him, they didn't notice when he came in at all. Bryan sighed and went back to his seat 'he even forgot John was in the office and he noticed all that had happened'

Leo walked up to Laura "Hi I'm Leonard Anderson" He said stretching his hands to her which she accepted with smile.

"I know you. The elevator guy I'm Laura Smith by the way"

Bryan scoffed at how easy for her to change her from being nasty to being polite and all she had showed him was her nasty behavior.

"I love your spirit laura. Can I call you that?"

"Of course"

Leo smiled "Do you know that I have never seen my friend talk a lot like he did to you?"

"Bryan is a little talker"

"And you probably don't know him well Mr Anderson"

"Please call me leo"

"OK leo" Laura then lowers her voice so only Leo could hear her "All he ever does ever since I met him is talk and makes me angry"

Leo laughed loud at her cofession. It's been long to see someone who can challenge Bryan like she did. All Bryan did ever since he lost Lilian was act cold and give resentful glaring which made anyone who isn't a family member to be scared of him.

"I never gave you permission to talk to my secretary Leonard " Bryan said angrily. They were talking like he wasn't there with them

" You have a beautiful secretary I couldn't resist talking to her" Laura smiled at Leo for the compliment

John hummed loudly which got everyone's attention fixed on him

'well they totally ignored him'

"I would like to take my leave boss"

Bryan gave him a job and John left

"I would also like to take my leave boss" Laura emphasizes on the word 'Boss' mocking imitation of the tone John used which Leo laughed

"Ask John to take you to your office and don't do anything else until you hear from me"

"Of course boss" Laura saw the spark flared in Bryan's eyes at her tone but quickly exited the office before he could say anything.
