CHAPTER 3: PRETENDING[1]

LI fang ordered Shi yang to buy ice cream for Chen ai ,she was super happy.he bought lots of lolipop of her favorite brand."Mr Li, thanks." "what for ?" "firstly, for helping me.secondly,for giving me lots of treats."chen ai said beaming.Li fang stared at her 'body like an adult,face like a teenager.'he contemplated.he felt like she's trying to conceal something .she sure has a lot of secrets it's vivid in the way she looks, trying to cover up her real feelings.after the long drive the car stopped in front of a big mansion.chen ai couldn't hold her gasp "is this where you live?" "yes."Li fang answered as they got out of the car."holy Molly it's huge."

she ran to the front of the mansion."do you live here alone ? "she asked "not exactly?" Li fang said."well_i don't care I don't mind living here forever."she said excitedly.His eyes drifted to her clothes ,the clothes she was wearing wasn't made up of cotton but silk, though it was simply but it's expensive."your clothes_" "what wrong with them?"chen ai asked looking at her clothes."it's looks expensive"he commented "yeah,my roommate gave it too many.it's quite expensive."she lied.she hoped he would believe it ."let's go inside.i can't wait to see the interior of your house." Chen ai said."No, I can't."li fang said."why?"she questioned.

"i need to be in an meeting right now."li fang explained and turned around.chen ai held the tip of his coat "come back quickly.i can't sleep alone in this big house"chen ai said looking at him cutely . "don't worry Nanny Zhi mo to arrange a room directly next to my room so you'll be safe."he said and tapped her head like a puppy,she chuckled like a child.She watched the car as it disappeared into the street."Now let's go and have some fun.i'm so tired from pretending to be a kid."she said stretching .

she dragged her self lazily into the mansion.accompanied by the doorman entering the hall,it was big and beautiful,the luxury hall with stairs made the mansion look unique. the interior was out of this world, ancient Greek painting,marbles, leather couch, so expensive she thought.Chen ai gasped as she walked deeper into the mansion.she stood In front big portrait of Li fang .

"he looks like a super model .so handsome,hot ,look at his straight jaw.he looks so scary but cool."she said to herself.chen ai walked deeper she met another portrait which was cover with velvet curtain "whose portriat could this be?"she muttered to her self.she wanted to shove the velvet curtain off the portrait when a loud old voice spoke behind her. "miss Chen?" "ugh...?"she turned abruptly,she was surprised when she saw an old woman."yes, I'm Chen ai,if I may ask who are you?."she asked giving the woman a suspicious look "Zhi mo is my name, madame "she said.

"Nanny Zhi mo. li fang told me,he already informed you about my stay here?" chen ai asked "yes,he did.follow me" Zhi mo ushered her to the stairs. Walking pass the corridor Chen noticed a nursery."does Li fang have kids,ohhh~is he married."chen ai asked her eyes lit up with curiousity."No he's not.moreover it's his personal matter we shouldn't be meddling in his matters."Zhi Mo said and stopped in front of a door,she opened the door and Chen ai's eyes lit up.

"oh my god ~holy molly this room is wide.i can't stay.i won't be staying here forever.i could share your room with you,If you don't mind." Chen ai said looking at the old woman sweetly."you're naive.if you share a room with me mr.Li is going to get mad at the both of us." Zhi mo explained,Chen ai accepted her explanation."i understand." "you're so mature.how old are you child?"zhi mo asked ."18 yrs old ,ma'am." She answered."you are soo young."zhi mo said giving Chen ai a soft smile.

'when did Mr Li start having interest in teenagers?' zhi mo thought."come in ,Mr Li personally asked to prepare a room next to his for you,"zhi mo said."thank you."chen said "i'll bring your suitcase up for you.in the mean time get some rest."zhi mo said leaving the room, shutting the door firmly behind her.chen ai breathed out heavily as a sign of relief.she will only be staying here for one night.she'll have to make plans for her departure the next morning.
