Kai whistled as he walked to their hotel. However, much to his surprise, he saw someone sitting on a nearby bench just right outside the court.
A small smile made it's way to his lips as he went behind Lina. He covered her eyes with his hands, and the young woman instantly knew who it was.
His hands were warm, rough, and a tad bit sweaty. However, she didn't mind.
Lina shook her head and gently removed his hands away from her face. "I know that it's you, Kai," she said before turning around to meet his gaze.
For a moment, it felt like her breath got caught in the back of her throat. With the sun behind his head, it gave Kai a different glow. He looked like a lead actor in a sports youth drama!
It had been a while since the two of them decided to just stay as friends. However, not a moment passed by when Lina didn't find Kai charming.
She cleared her throat and looked away, not being able to take his gaze.
