Lin Ge sensed Erodina's presence right beside him.
But he was still surrounded by darkness, and aside from a red dragon that wouldn't stop threatening him, he couldn't see anything else.
"Erodina, help me," Lin Ge's thought reached out.
In an instant, the red dragon before him vanished into smoke, and the darkness receded like the tide.
He felt a cool little hand on his forehead, and Erodina's listless face emerged before his eyes.
The tapping from deep within the corridor had stopped, but Lanya, Seria, and Dilu were still lying motionless on the ground.
"Can you wake them up too?"
Erodina shook her little head, spread her hands, and conveyed to Lin Ge through telepathy that their souls were no longer in their bodies and she couldn't help.
Lin Ge crouched down to examine the three women's bodies closely and found that they were still "alive"— their body temperature and breathing were normal, as if they were merely asleep.
