Making up

After the party ended, Mary went with Damon back to the penthouse. Mary had not spoken a single word to him or even looked at him in the eyes. Damon didn't apologize as he thought that she should be the one to apologize but Mary on the other hand thought otherwise.

When they got home, Rosie was laying on the sofa. Her hair a complete mess, wearing a white hoodie. She was holding as bowl of popcorn and she was watching Anime.

"Rosie, you should be sleeping by now. It's 2 am." Damon said.

"I will go to sleep after three more episodes. I gotta finish this anime." Rosie said.

"Anime? You are watching anime that's so childish." Damon said.

"Anime is not childish. You just think everyone and everything is childish!" Mary said arguing back.

"Did you guys fight?" Rosie asked but neither one replied.

"No, I don't think everyone is childish. It's just you and everything about you that's immature and childish." He said leaving the room. Mary picked up a pillow and threw it on the ground. Rosie glanced up at Mary and then smiled.

"You like anime too?" She asked her.

"Well, yeah. I have watched only a few. Which one are you watching?" Mary asked nervously.

"Seraph of the end." She answered.

"I have watched that one. It's so good! Right?" Mary said jumping in the air a couple times before sitting down beside Rosie.

"Hell, yeah! It is." Rosie said. "Popcorn?" She said then offering Mary the bowl of popcorn.

"Yeah. Which episode are you on?" Mary asked taking a handful of popcorn.

"Episode 5, Season 1." Rosie answered.

"Let's finish the entire anime, tonight. We can start a new one." Mary said and Rosie laughed and agreed.The duo ended up staying up the entire night watching anime.

The next morning when Damon woke up and went to the living room. He saw two beautiful messes. Rosie and Mary had both fallen asleep. Their hair was a complete mess. Mary was sleeping on the ground while Rosie had fallen asleep on the couch. The popcorn was all over them. The tv was still on. Mary was still wearing the dress she was wearing. One of her high heels was on the table. Her makeup was completely smudged.

Levi entered the room to see the same mess. "What were Mama and Rosie doing?" He asked his father.

"That's what happens when you stay up all night when papa tells you not to." Damon said.

"Okay." Levi simply nodded.

"Baby, why don't you get two cups of very cold water from the kitchen and pour it over your mama and Rosie's faces?" Damon said.

"Will I get into trouble?" Levi asked.

"No, now go hurry." Damon said winking.

"Okay, papa." Levi said running off to get water. It wasn't long before he came back with two tall glasses of cold water. He flipped the cup over both their faces and both the women woke up yelling.

"What the fuck?" Mary yelled as she woke up. Her hair and clothes both became extremely drenched in water.

"Why would you do this, Levi?" Rosie yelled as she stood up when she did so a couple popcorn fell out of her hair.

"Because papa told me too." Levi said snitching.

"He's lying." Damon said.

"No, I am not." Levi innocently.

"Fuck you." Rosie said walking to her room.

"Yeah, fuck you Damon." Mary said also leaving the room but Damon was laughing with Levi.

In the washroom, Mary took a warm shower and changed clothes. She wore a oversized shirt with jeans shorts. She tied her hair in a classic messy bun and went to Rosie's room. It was the best room she had ever been in.

There were purple Led lights. The walls had the coolest anime posters she had seen and everything was black or white or purple. Though there was very little purple. She had a white canopy bed and a gaming set along with a large television. Mary was impressed.

"Rosie? Where are you?" Mary asked.

Rosie came out of the washroom in a new black hoodie with shorts. With her hair down. She looked so pretty. "Yes, Mary?" She said as she dried her hair with a towel.

"I-I wanted to ask if you want to start a new anime series with me." She asked clearly mesmerized by her beauty.

"Sure, which one?" Rosie asked putting the towel down and taking the hair dryer out.

"Well, I was hoping you'd decide. We can watch Hell's Paradise, I guess."

"Yeah, that'd be great." She said.

"Good, I am going to get breakfast now." She said going out.

"Okay, see you later." She waved.

Mary slammed the door shut and walked to the kitchen. She saw Damon cooking. He was cooking an omelet. He looked so attractive cooking. Mary was reminded one again why she married him. He was attractive. His blue eyes that were as deep as the ocean. His soft red lips. His smooth black hair. Every inch of him screamed perfection from the bottom to top.

After taking one glance at him, Mary was compelled by his beauty that she did something she had almost never done before. She apologized and Damon accepted it. Something drew Mary in even closer than before so much that she kissed him on the lips. Damon was clearly surprised by the sudden kiss. He returned the kiss.

Just as things were pretty heated, Rosie came in. She looked at them and when they noticed she was there they quickly pulled away. "Nice to see you two made up." She said.

"Yeah, I am sorry for what happened in the morning. I got you your favourite pizza bread." He said handing her a shopper. She took out a cardboard box from the inside and opened it inside was pizza bread. She smelled it.

"Thank you. I was actually craving that." Rosie said sitting down on the chair.
