"I will need to converse with the Tsaritsa for such a trade..." Arlecchino said frowning after Ei met my eyes and nodded seeing how determined I was to get such information.

Then the Fatui harbinger left our palace leaving the throne room empty of all except for me Ei, and Kujou Sara.

"Kujou Sara, do not speak of what you heard of today ever again without me bringing it up. Doing so could bring about the collapse of Inazuma, do you understand." The Raiden Shogun said strictly as she looked towards the tengu who hurriedly kneeled and bowed to the land's god.

"Yes, Almighty Shogun, word of this day shall never again pass through my lips." Kujou Sara promised earning a grunt of affirmation from Ei.

"Now my heir... Why have you sacrificed the support and resources of Snezhnaya that could be used to take care of the land of Inazuma and allow its people to live an easier life for the next few decades?" Ei questioned me strictly and I couldn't help but chuckle at her testing question despite knowing it was a test.

"Mother, I know you quite well despite only being around you for a couple of weeks. You are too proud by far to accept such a handout from the bullies of the world in Snezhnaya as that would make it look like we couldn't take care of our own people." But then I shrugged as I looked up through the small windows in the roof allowing me to see the false stars above me.

"If you are so worried about resources... Then once we receive information of how to leave this false sky behind, we can simply travel between the true stars and enrich Inazuma of the lands we travel if possible." I said shrugging while wondering if the world of Honkai Impact was the one we would run into should we manage to go beyond the false sky above us all that bound our fates.

"Kujou Sara you can lea.... Actually, you may stay, and Miko come out!" Ei yelled and from out from behind a couple of weapon stands came a small pink fox that coated itself in a thick mist for a couple of moments and then from the mist came the pouting form of Yae Miko.

"Boo... Ei, you ruined my surprise. I was going to steal away the little kit and take him home for the night." Yae complained as though her little plan being ruined was of utmost disappointment.

"Miko..." Ei groaned palming her face before dragging it down and looking at the two kitsune's in the room or more like me subtly moving to put 'big sister' Kujou Sara in between me and the older female kitsune.

"Kurama, come over to me. Yae won't steal you away and force you to wear a priestess outfit." Ei muttered holding out an arm to me as Yae Miko was in between me and the Electro Archon I decided to be childish and firmly shook my head as I had planned for a very similar moment.

"Nope, big sister Kujou Sara will keep the perverted priestess away from me in return for being allowed to fluff my tails." Seeing their disbelieving faces I wore a most solemn expression as I took Sara's hand making her blush as I continued.

"We made the promise as a contract in the name of the Geo Archon so you can't make her break the contract, Mom!" Hearing me call her Mom and dramatically point at her as I held the embarrassed Tengu's hand, made Ei's placid face at me bringing up Morax burst into a cooing expression and smiles at my cute actions.

"Bah you brat, I won't dare mess with you, seeing how possessive that little tengu is." Yae tittered seeing Kujou Sara even though knowing Yae Miko was no threat to me, allowed me to use her as a shield.

"Kurama come on over here now," Ei said more firmly after she got down her giggling under control and I slumped as I quickly made my way past the smug form of Yae while refusing to make eye contact and even going as far as using my large fluffy tails as a wall of fur to block her from seeing me.

Once I got over to Ei, she sat me down beside her large chair that was only slightly elevated from the floor and maintained eye contact with me for a moment before she took a deep breath.

"Kurama, I know that from your own admission that you are a sort of prophet, but I have to ask." She began as she held my chin so she could look upon my eyes and seeing the Raiden Shogun's serious Electro filled gaze would normally fill me with fear if I hadn't seen her light the kitchen on fire three times in row while trying to cook me a quote 'mother's meal'.

No seriously how does someone start a fire when they are just washing the rice and hadn't even lit a fire yet?

"Your eyes... They have seen beyond this world already, haven't they? That's why you want to go beyond the false sky so badly. You wish to see that which you have already dreamt of!" Raiden Shogun said letting go of me completely sure of the complete nonsense that she was making up I could only numbly nod to Ei's triumphant expression.

I mean if I 'saw' the world of Genshin who could say the countless other worlds and reflections of said worlds in fanfictions couldn't also exist as well?

"Haa..." Ei sighed looking up into the roof before her entire body shook as she somehow came to another world-shaking realization. "Wait Kurama... Did you want to learn how to leave Teyvat so Mommy could come with you so I could truly be free of erosion and reach my Eternity without Celestia's law's over us?"

Once again, I could only nod to Raiden's eyes as the misunderstandings kept piling up, and then before I could react or try to clear up the 'confusion' I was face-planted inside of Ei's wide open cleavage window as the Archon hugged me tightly and squealed with happiness.

"Oh, my dear Makoto you have truly saved me by opening my heart again," Ei muttered into my kitsune ears with Yae and Kujou Sara being unable to hear and honestly, I didn't think I was meant to hear that either.

"Very well Kurama, my beloved son, I will give that Snezhnayan rat, the gnosis when she comes back for it. But when they do, I do not want you here for the trade... That woman's eyes upon you were that of finding a treasure worth far more than her mission. I assure you that she will do something though I do not know what..." Ei pondered before sighing and looking between Yae and Kujou Sara.

"Kujou Sara my trusted hero and champion, I must entrust a great duty to you." She said solemnly as Yae straightened realizing Ei was no longer going to be reactionary in her rule over Inazuma for once.

"You take my heir into either Liyue, Mondstadt, or even Sumeru for his safety... The Tstarista is a great many things but just as I stride for Eternity in stability. That cold Archon's drive is in the survival of the fittest and a part of that is her Eye for an Eye motto. I the Electro Archon putting her on the back pedal will need to face some sort of retribution from that neurotic woman after she gives the information we desire." Ei explained before looking from Kujo Sara who was deep in thought to Yae Miko.

"Miko I will entrust you to keep a close eye on the Leylines, I can feel with my connection to Inazuma, that they are shifting again. So, while we deal with this period of unease, we must be vigilant."

"Where am I supposed to go?" I asked weakly as I had no idea 'what' was happening right now. Was one of the lantern festivals going on in Liyue. Was the Chasm roiling and sending monsters across Liyue. Or did the Traveler already head off to Sumeru to free, best girl Nahida?

"You..." Ei started seeing my lost expression before sighing and as she took my hands, I felt Kujou Sara's lightly callused hands gently scratch my kitsune ears as she stood beside me. "Kurama, I suggest going to either Sumeru or Liyue as they have the most stable of lands as Barbatos... Is unreliable at the best of times." Raiden Ei said and I couldn't help but deadpan to her.

"Mother I have literally seen the future... Liyue's chasm is about to erupt and Sumeru just like every nation is on the cusp of destruction due to the constant withering of the Irminsul and Lesser Lord Kusanali being held prisoner within the Akadamiya for the last five hundred years." I had to shrug as Ei's face froze at the realization that with her literally hiding for the last couple of centuries, she was very much out of date on current information, I gave a brief overview with how Morax has faked his death and the new Dendro Archon was literally a caged bird.

"Huh... So that was to be Kunikuzushi's fate. To take the Electro Gnosis and through a grand puppet, become a true god, and what attempt to take revenge on me?" Ei asked and I could only shrug to which she scoffed.

"That's the one reason that saves prophets from gods and others from capturing or making a bunch of astrologers work for them. You are all unreliable when you need exact details." Seeing my contrite expression, she giggled and patted me on my head, and intertwined her fingers in my long silver hair.

"Ei, perhaps we should send little Kurama with the Traveler? Surely, she could provide decent protection for him while he is in Liyue or Sumeru?" Yae offered and Ei nodded.

"That is a wonderful idea Miko." Then Ei looked to Kujo Sara and ordered her to go find the traveler and I realized that my idea of getting out of this death world was going to have kinks to say the least.

If this new life was a web novel or something, its name would probably be something as cringe as. 'Traveling the multiverse with my dommy mommy raiden shogun as her adopted son.' I thought as I finally managed to escape from Ei and return to my bedroom.
