Story 3 Kitsune in Teyvat Chapter 12

With Lisa obviously on board things had become a lot more assured as the librarian Vision Weilder heartlessly abandoned Jean to her paperwork as we went into the depths of the library to Lisa's magical workshop.

"Now as you all well know, before the leylines were completely in chaos during the years of darkness. One could actually transpose themselves as energy to travel the Leylines at extreme speeds." Lisa explained while going up to a floating cylinder.

"This project of mine will allow us to teleport directly to one of the old teleporters in Sumeru. Though sadly this technology is still unfortunately in the works so I am afraid it's only a one way trip." Lisa finished making me nod in understanding while Klee and Fischl made 'Ooohing' noises as they had their own ideas for it's use.

As Klee helpfully asked. "Miss Lisa, could we use the teleporter to move super big bombs?!" Klee asked innocently and Lisa gave her a long... Hard look before nodding and saying flatly.

"Yes Klee, it can indeed move non-organic items so long as they can be held by someone as we are leaving." 

Klee then spun around and ran out of the laboratory with her arms to the side as she shouted out happily. "Wait a second for meee!"

I looked at Lisa and bluntly said. "We need her to blow up some obstacles leading into the sealed meditation chamber that Nahida is being held in... Not topple the entire city of Sumeru." I finished weakly and Lisa covered her face with a hand and sighed as she nodded.

"I understand the gravity of the situation little cutie." She finished with no small amount of fond of exasperation but regardless we allowed Lisa to continue to adjust the sensors for the teleporter to Sumeru.

And finally, Klee came back. With a triumphant cheer she yelled out. "I got Dodoco MK3! Its got fifty pounds of Pyro gel, thirty Electro gems, and pieces of Anemo flowers to make it almost weigh nothing!" She explained happily as she hugged the plushy bomb that was literally taller than me and her.

The plushy looked like a jar with a large fox head coming out of the top and the whole thing was covered in a layer of fabric that was also clearly stuffed with cotton or something to make it soft for Klee to hug and carry around.

'To make a giant bomb... And then go to the effort to wrapping it up and designing its shape to be stuffed animal. Only Klee would do that.' I thought with a wry smile as Fischl giggled and pointed at me. "Hoh, Kurama the heir of lightning. Does the fact that Lady Spark-Knight bomb resemble your own noble visage make you uncomfortable?" She teased slightly.

And I had a quick and easy retort as I sniffed haughtily. "It may share some resemblance but Klee if you wish to capture my appearance you may try in the future with true knowledge of a fox's appearance," I spoke as I spun around and as I did so I changed from my human form and into my kitsune form with all nine of my tails unfurling and stretching behind me as I looked at Klee whose eyes turned to stars at my obviously majestic appearance!

Lisa chuckled at the sight of Klee actually looking at me up close as she said she was going to draw out what I looked like so she could make the best-stuffed doll ever using the stitching methods that her mother taught her.

"Hmm, the machine needs to charge for another couple of minutes so everyone gets ready in the magical circle." Lisa spoke as she elegantly walked away from the cylinder she was working on as a bright blue magical circle started glowing in the center of the room and without a word I jumped into Shenhe's arms so she could carry me in my kitsune form.

Honestly, though, I was getting rather tired as it was late in the day and Shenhe running me from Liyue to Mondstadt in a single day wasn't anything to scoff at as well. So even as I yawned I heard Shenhe hum as her free hand that wasn't supporting me began scratching my ears.

But before I could further relax the blue magical sigil below our feets pulsed with light and Lisa spoke up sternly as she held Klee's hand in her own. "Now just don't resist the pull of the Leylines otherwise you could be teleported anywhere in Teyvat... Or if you are truly unlucky you could be shot into the Abyss!" She warned us firmly and I shuddered at the memory of the abyss monsters that ravaged the lands of Innazuma during the Dark Years that followed the Fall of Khanrieah.

And nothing else was said as within the next ten seconds as the light got stronger a pulse of powerful energy covered our forms and we were taken into the leylines.

Shenhe's arms became vices around my body as she held tightly onto me even as I felt our forms be shot through the life veins of the world of Teyvat until finally with a comically popping noise a tear in space formed and Shenhe and I were spat out heads first with Shenhe expertly twisting herself in the air using her Cryo energy to carve lines through the dirt with her heels as she bled out the momentum.

Likewise Lisa did the same but with a bit less grace.

And Fischl used her partner raven Oz to slow down her landing as the enlarged and energized raven held her hand as he frantically flapped his wings.
