Magic training

After accepting her as my master, she made me go to find a room for myself and that she would hire someone to help me. I found a nice room close to the bathroom from the first floor. I put my backpack on the corner and went outside. It looked like in the middle of the forest, but I knew that we were still in the capital. No one just have taken care about anything here.

There were a lot of tall trees, flowers, and small pods. I climbed to the biggest tree and sat down. It was peaceful here, and the quiet air and trees reminded me of home. How is mom doing I wonder.

Feels weird that over a 40-years old man is thinking about her mother. But she's the first to show me love like that and it's still a 13-year-old body with needs of love. I wish that when I see her again, I could live with her if she hasn't remarried. I don't want her to be lonely.

I jumped back on the ground after thinking about mom, then I heard the gates opening. It was Ava and with her was a boy.

-Hey student, here's your personal helper. I'll let you talk yourselves.

She walked way into the mansion and left us to introduce us. He seemed a little nervous, so I decided to start.

Wind was also very attack-based element like lightning and fire. I also had needs for a wind mage so this would be perfect.

I walked inside the mansion with Ben behind me. I walked up to my room and pointed the one next to it.

I left closing the door after me and leaving for my room with a book in my hands. I didn't want to read it, but I had nothing to do, so I did. It was indeed boring. It had almost nothing interesting in it and it was also awfully long.

But I wonder how my life will change now.

It's been two months already. I have a good daily schedule that I follow every day. It may seem boring but because I learn something new every day, it doesn't bother me that much.

I wake up around 8am, eat and at 9am I start my magic training. I leave there at 11am and then usually do homework which is reading books that she has given me. She revealed that I read them because the questions from the academy entrance exam would be asked from there.

I'm ready around 2pm. After that I train my sword style and twice a week with Ben.

Ben already got the first floor and bathroom clean, thanks to his wind magic. He isn't nervous either and we even joke every now and then. He seems like a funny guy, and I hope that we can be good friends.

After that I eat dinner at 5pm and then take a bath and continue reading and/or train my core. Ava told me that I can change the color of a ring only once a year now because it's my first time and my mana control isn't great. Later when I get more rings, I may even instantly upgrade their color by two. That takes a lot of mana control, but it gets better every day that I upgrade my core structure.

I then go to sleep around midnight. Sometimes when Ava is away, me and Ben visit the capital and eat lunch somewhere. Ben stares at girls, but if I did that, I would feel like a pedophile so I don't do that.

Ben though that I was gay and took distance to me but I played innocent, so he thought that I didn't even know anything about dating. He's half right tho, but I'm not gay. I won't go deeper in this matter.

I think that it's a good schedule, I won't get fighting experience but my past life already gave me enough in close combat and killing... Those are not good memories.

My swordsmanship won't suffer and neither do my magic, quite the opposite actually. I wonder how strong I am when I have to attend the academy, and what will I be doing there.

Those are worries of the future, I like to think that you should focus on the current the most. Kinda ironic because I'm training for the future but no matter that.

Let's just hope that I will be able to grow in these future years.
