Chapter 43: Lexi

After going through the tutorials of the soul vision rod, Tahara rushed out of the room as he remembered that he hadn't seen Kunie. When he reached the doorstep, Muno had just woken up from bed asking Tahara Tahara where he was going. Tahara replied to Muno telling her that he was going to visit Kunie since it left 3 days more for them to go return to the village.

Tahara left the house and rushed to the school where Kunie goes. When he arrived, he barged into one of the classrooms and checked to see if that was Kunie's class but unfortunately for him, it wasn't her class.

Tahara left and bumped into one of the students as her books fell on the ground. Tahara helped the girl pick up her books and apologized for bumping into her as he was about to continue running looking for Kunie.

When Tahara was about to leave, the girl held him by the shirt and asked Tahara if he was looking for Kunie.

"Yes, I'm looking for Kunie," Tahara replied.

The girl then walked with Tahara as they began to converse along the hallway.

Soon, people began to watch Tahara and the young girl walking together as the news was spreading around that the young girl had gotten a new boyfriend.

Students began to swarm around Tahara and asked him for his age and name and also telephone number. As soon as Tahara was about to hand it over to them, he spotted Kunie and then excused everyone as he rushed toward Kunie.

Tahara called out her name as she turned around and saw Tahara running towards her.

When Tahara reached her, he hugged Kunie and began to ask her how much he had missed her since it's been 3-4 months.

Kunie remembered Tahara's voice and hugged him back as she asked Tahara where he had been for these couple of months. Everyone around the school came to witness Tahara and Kunie as Tahara told Kunie about the young girl who showed him the way.

Tahara and Kunie then went outside the school premises as Tahara had told Kunie that he would be leaving in the next 3 days.

Kunie felt worried when Tahara said this and then told Tahara that she would go and that she had noticed it was still the swordsman thing he is doing.

At first, Tahara convinced Kunie to stay in the school but she still insisted on going with Tahara so he accepted as he told Kunie to pack in the next 3 days.

Kunie then went back to the school as Tahara was about to leave the school premises.

"So you are a swordsman?" the young girl asked.

"I don't know what you are talking about," Tahara replied as he decided to play cool.

As soon as Tahara turned towards the gate, he noticed the young girl standing in front of him.

Tahara took a few steps back and was about to enter his inventory but noticed that they were on school grounds.

"I'm not here for a fight Onii-Chan," she said.

"Onii-Chan!" Tahara said as he stood there looking bamboozled.

The young girl introduced herself as Lexi Kaur and would love to go with Onii-Chan to where he was going.

Tahara didn't want to allow her to go since he decided to send only Muto to the village and now Kunie and Lexi.

Tahara apologized to her and told Lexi that he wish he could but he could not send her to the village.

Lexi began to cry in front of Tahara as most of the students rushed out to see what was happening. Tahara decided to calm Lexi down and noticed from afar students rushing to attend to the matter.

"Alright fine, I'll send you," Tahara told her.

Lexi stopped crying and cast a magic spell as all the students vanished.

"So those were illusions?" Tahara asked.

"I'm a magic user too," she said as she left the classroom.
