Tahara reached out his hand to retrieve the rod but then Rafenild closed its mouth as Tahara noticed in time.

"You think you could fool," Tahara let out.

Tahara leaped in the air as he used his swords to pierce Rafenild.

"My skin is tough so your sword isn't any match for me," Rafenild explained.

"Oh really!" Tahara said and with that Rafenild throat was seen cut open.

"Wha-, how did he!" Simon asked.

"What was that technique," Juba said.

"I was following his movements all this while, I didn't blink," Juba let out.

"Has he been hiding all of his techniques," Juba said.

"This technique resembles Kuemon's," Simon said.

"That's the effect of the swords Sweeper and Keeper," Tahara said.

"Stop what you are doing kid have you forgotten who I am?" Rafenild yelled as he released its technique because of the poison.

After saying these words, Rafenild's life expired as he fell to the ground.

Tahara fell on one knee as he held the dark rod with all his might trying to prevent it from taking control over him.

Tahara fell to the ground as Juba and Samon rushed to see him.

Tahara coughed as he began to open his eyes.

Juba and Samon helped Tahara get up on his feet.
