Awakening the Ancestors

Ancestral spirits drenched the world in blood 1000 years ago, forcing people to choose between death and turning to ancestral spirits. Saido Kado, on the other hand, was the only swordsman in the world who could match up with the ancestral spirits and seal them away. However, after 1000 years, people became dissatisfied with the current world and desired the return of the ancestral spirits. Tahara Kado, a young swordsman and the last Kado of his generation, aspires to be the best swordsman in the world, but his peers mock him because he is an F-Rank. His wish was granted, and he was killed, but an awakening system reawakened him, allowing him to level up and unlock new abilities, power, and sword skills. His first inquiry is to find out who has the ability to seal and unseal ancestral spirits. Will he be able to stop the people from unsealing the ancestral spirits? If they are unsealed, can he stop the ancestral spirits? Will he be able to awaken his ancestors? Join Tahara and his friends on a journey full of challenges that will put his swordsmanship and determination to succeed to the test. ....... Chapter 20: Second Awakening

"You said you wanted to see us in private?" Chikae asked.

"Of course! It's about The Guild of Teal Arm," Tahara said.

"Tell me what you know about it and why are they trying to kill me," Tahara asked.

Chikae told Tahara that he didn't know why they were after him or his friends but they only know the history behind the organization.

"Well that's enough for today," Tahara said as he got up from his seat.

"Wait! Chikae said as he got up,"

"I would like you to join our group so far as you are a swordsman," Chikae asked.

"Sorry! Already I have a team and so that's it," Tahara said and left the place.

"So those are the three that have been taking care of the beasts," Chikae.

"Indeed!" Egawa replied.

"Miyaguchi, Juba, Simon, we are leaving," Tahara informed them when he reached outside.

"Anything new about the organization," Samon asked.

"Nothing new," Tahara replied.

"It heads back to our home," Tahara told them as they began to walk.

Tahara then looked at the stars.

"Isn't that beautiful?" he asked.

"A multitude of stars," Miyaguchi replied.

Tahara looked again as he noticed a star was moving at a faster rate.

"Guys! Is this star moving," Tahara told them as he pointed at the star.

"I don't think so," Juba replied.

Tahara then looked closely as the star came down.

"Look out!" Tahara said as he protected his friends.

The star then came to hit a temple as smoke was beginning to rise.

"Sorry guys! But I've got to leave you here," Tahara said as he run in the direction of the star.

"This has happened before," Tahara let out.

Tahara arrived at the scene as passersby were seen looking at the temple on fire as the firemen were busy putting out the flames.

Tahara sneaked inside the temple and went in the direction of the star.

As Tahara was walking, he could see light glowing from afar and began to run toward it.

When he arrived, he noticed that star lying on the ground and glowing in different colors.

"This star is a little bit different from last time," he said.

Tahara took the star to the ground and then all of a sudden, a blade from of the walls cut Tahara's fingers.

Tahara looked at where the star was and noticed that the moment he touches the star, he will die.

Tahara went towards the star as he picked it and began to run for his life.

Tahara managed to dodge all the blades in the temple as he passed the test.

Tahara then came outside as he was holding the star which was a relic.

"Why do these things fall from the sky?" he asked.

Tahara took a good look at the star and then stored it in the system.

The moment the relic touched his system, it disappeared.

"Huh! Where did it go?" Tahara asked.

The relic then decided to react to Tahara's as the clouds began to form and thunder struck him.

It hurts!

It hurts!

It hurts!

It hurts!

It hurts!

After the thunder had struck Tahara, his system went for a reboot.

"Awakened a second ancestor!" Tahara asked.

Tahara's mind then began to see things from the past.

"Who are you?" Tahara asked.

"Your answer will be given if you can collect the remaining pieces," the voice said.

"There are more?" Tahara said and then the voice suddenly left.

"A second awakening," Tahara said.

"The swordsman's village," the boss said.

"That's where they keep all the dark souls," the boss told.

"Darwin and Keita, can you take care of them for me whiles Misa would sneak inside and retrieve the dark souls?" the boss asked.

"But boss!" Darwin said.

"Don't worry, there's a barrier that would which prevent Tahara from infiltrating," the boss said as he smiled.
