We Meet Again

“Yummy.”

Olivia was holding a piece of candy, licking it, and savoring the taste. The normal piece of candy looked enormous in her little hands.

“Don’t eat too much or your teeth will all rot out. And how did you manage to make such a mess out of just eating candy, Olivia?”

Arias turned to speak to her, sounding mildly amused when he saw the candy stains in the corner of her mouth.

“Naggy Arias.”

Olivia mumbled quietly before she knitted her eyebrows and stopped licking the candy. But it was not two minutes before she started eating that same piece of candy again.

As the two continued to stroll around the city, they suddenly heard the sound of people yelling noisily near a certain alley. This alley was narrow and was located between two buildings that stood close together. And near that narrow alley, there were about a dozen people who were shouting and cursing at somebody.

“Get out of this city, you dirty animals!”

“You sided with the enemies! Go to hell.”
