Spider Demon’s Payback

The hand that had clenched into a tight fist slowly unclenched, revealing dim quartz that was once a spider demon’s core of magic. There was no magical power left in this quartz. On the ground, two similar quartzes could be seen. All of these were the spider demons’ core of magic, ones in which Arias had completely absorbed their powers.

Once he was done absorbing the third spider demon’s core of magic, Arias’ aura began to change. The magical particles that floated around him rippled like a water surface hit by a stone. There were tiny bolts of lightning surrounding his body, making it seem like Arias’ body was emitting blue light. In his mind, Arias could hear the sound of the lightning’s roar echoing in his core of magic. He could feel his whole body becoming physically stronger. Every muscle was being elevated along with the magical power that was soaring to the next level. He could clearly sense the increase in his strength.
