He stood and adjusted the chicken, who thanks to my blast of magic, was already getting darker on one side compared to the other. He then stood and stretched, his huge frame casting a long shadow all over the small space and a low growl slipped past his lips. But instead of terrifying me, it made me smile, remembering the big, playful wolf who’d been keeping me warm all night.
