“Maybe I could meet your mother and we could determine what she needs together.” Enzo took a sip of his beer.
“I wish you could, but she isn’t up for company.” Another customer sat down in Mike’s section. Enzo glanced over at Gray. I’ve got to nip that in the bud. Mike cleared his throat. “I put Gray at the Tiki bar because I think I’m going to have to fire him. The receipts haven’t matched the inventory and I know everyone else is solid.”
“Too bad. I hate to see anyone lose their job.” Enzo stood. “There’s Bobby. I need to talk to him about Bella. I’ll speak to you about this later.”
