Mrs ray..

Nat alighted from the car, she bid her mum goodbye and head inside the school compound.

"Nat" she heard a voice called her Name.. she look back and saw her two besties.

" Clarke, Maxine " she called out to them excitedly. They walk to her giving each other a warm hug.

"How have you guys been?" Natasha cupped their faces together as their red lips like cherry pouted out.

"Fine, fine" they both mumble as soon as their faces was un-cupped. "Nat baby,..." Maxine bit her lower lip seductively as she untie the ribbon use in packing Nat hair.

"You look hot, like this" Maxine praise.

"Thanks Max, beside you guys aren't exceptional" they burst into laughter.

"Like seriously, I miss you guys a lot" Clarke said happily, she drew Nat and max close again and gave them a hug ..she couldn't contain her happiness.

"Us too" they responded.

"Max, how was your trip to New York, how was summer over there, did you get any hot summer date?" Nat asked in a rush.

Max roll her eyes with a twitching mouth, then she smack" of course, but we broke up..." she pull her two friends together "you know what girls ? Life in New Yorkie is terrible horribly beautiful.." a faint smile appeared on her face.

" And I don't wanna talk about it...we'll talk about all of it later" she said biting her lower lip which was an habit whenever she's anxious or excited.

"Oh that's so.. hot" Clarke said.

Max and Nat gave her a confuse look wondering what was so hot about the whole discussion right now.

" Terrible horribly beautiful just like elements.. " she pouted her lip making a sad face" I wish I had a summer like that."

"Come on Clarke.. this semester is gonna be hot cause the home coming queens are back to a new dawn of era..." Max turn to her friends who stare at her with the eyebrows up wondering what she was saying.

"New dawn of era? Brrt." Nat laughs softly.

Max walked behind Nat, she place her hands on her shoulder then drew her mouth close to her ears " yeah baby a new dawn of era official created now by me.. Me" they all chuckles and burst into laughter.

"come on girls let's go" Clarke said and they head inside.

Car screech at the parking lot, Valerie turn off the engine and got down making her way through to the sheriff office.

"Good morning " she greeted every one she came across, while heading towards the sheriff office. On reaching there, She gave a slight knock on the door.

"Come in" A masculine voice said, She slowly open the door and entered.

In front of her was a average tall man not too short or tall either, he was a bit plum and he has a round curved face with a scar on his left eye.

"Good morning sheriff, I came as fast as I can..is there a problem sir? Valerie ask only to realize she ask the wrong question. There was never a day Beverly Hills doesn't have a problem, with plenty of cases to deal with.

"Um.. I meant to say is there an urgent case to investigate?" She corrected herself.

"Yes there is detective Val.. a big one" sheriff said handing over to her a file with pictures in it, she took it then observe it.

She flips the pages over till the end, she stop and look at the sheriff "New cases, thought the only work here is the death of the victim in Eichen street" she said confuse. She was suppose to work on the assault case which occur in eichen but right now she's been assign to another...a kid killed his parents. That's the headline."

"But sir..." she tried to object.

"I know I know but I really need you to work on this case. It's.. it's ...the suspected child. He's in the XXX bars and he's not ready to say anything and that would only lead him to jail..."the sheriff explained.

Val breath in and out then sigh heavily "why is it so important ?"

"He hasn't said a word since we took him from the scene, like his afraid of saying anything; i have this sole feelings that it's unnatural."

"Sir..."

"if things gets worst i might have to issue for the, XXX tyranties to deal with every situation, i made that comment at my previous interview" Sheriff Von strucker said with gritted teeths.

Seventeen years ago after an unnatural outburst that swept a whole town, the governments have created a special team called the XXX tyranties, to deal with situations that are beyond understanding, Any 'downworlders' caught are often sent to the main headquater.

Over the years, there was cases, files and pictures proving the existence of supernatural forces which the human had label to be called 'downwolders'.

'letting the people know will only terrify them even more, knowing they are not alone in this world will eventually erupt an Armaggedon right away. so for peace to reign they made the people understand it was additional security. '

To clad themselves from danger, the government has assigned the tyranties into every state, but there has been some hesistation in los angelos. as few sheriffs of various town in Los Angelos has not yet agree to issue for an XXX tyranties.

Sheriff Von strucker on the other-hand has been force to assume the presence of downworlders roaming in Beverly hills. He had never seen one before, but he has encounter one's presence and that didn't end well as it has left a scar on his eye.

Maybe on the next gathering, he was going to issue for one...

"....Arteries have thick, elastic muscular wall, No valve except semilunar valves. The aorta and pulimonary artery...a young lady in suit explained what she had written on the wall, she walk around in the class observing the students if they are listening to her or not. then she came across maxinne whose attention was divided.

the lady got furious she quickly took the clean sheet maxinne was drawing 'god know what on' "you seem ahead of the class miss max, now would you like to give a few briefing on kreb's cycle."

"What, me?" max ask confuse not with the fact she didn't heard what the teacher said but because that wasn't part of the teaching. she knew her mind was off to something else but she could clearly give a brief talk on the subject not Kreb's cycle she wasn't taught. 'this woman is trying to intimidate her in front of the class' she thought.

" is there anyone beside you" the teacher blurted out in anger, max jotted out of her daze on hearing the teacher harsh tone.

max turn around she saw clarke on her left and Nat on her right. "yes clarke and Nat are the closest to me here" she reluctantly answer.

The class on hearing this burst into laughter, the teacher gave an hard stare to them sending shiver down the spine of the students. the class became silent once again.

Clarke raise her hands up. the teacher tried to ignore her but the girl wont put her hand down. she decided to give in. "what is it clarke ?" she asked.

"well..., mrs ray. it's about the kreb cycle. you haven't taught us that yet so asking max about it, is rather seen unfair" Clarke said defending Max.

Mrs ray eyes darkened immediately. she's not the type to be mess with, and not the type to let students off the hook easily. seeing this kids challenging her which no one has ever done before made her more furious.

she walk close to Clarke who didn't even show any sign of fear "now you're telling me what's unfair and not?"

"We were suppose to go according to the scheme. .oh, we were suppose to know more than our teacher and that got me thinking you miss the subject 'kreb cycle' in the scheme of work. And am not trying to be rude but it's unlikely of me to not interfere. please pardon my manners ma'am" she said in a calm but challenging tone.

"kid do you want a wish death?" Mrs ray said with her face all red with anger, the only luck was the fact they were in public and she wouldn't like her image to be tainted once again or else she would have strangle Clarke that instance.

"I remember clearly that the last child who stood up to me... almost didn't make it" she said in a low tone almost like a whisper just the four of them could hear.

Clarke chuckles then look at the woman in front of her, "Sorry was i suppose to flinch in fear?..i mean when it comes to killing, strangling and all other dangerous stuffs, i can be a very fast learner since you have been there, i guess i won't have a difficult time learning from you" she whisper back.

a raucously laugh escape Nat lips as she drop her head down trying not to add to the situation.

Mrs ray smiled widely all of a sudden which got the whole class confuse even the girls." Am impress, lesson's over" she said then walk out of the class.

Max exhale heavily then turn to Clarke "We won't make it pass the exam" she complain.

"We can switch class but i didn't do anything wrong." Clarke said

"i think we just accidentally pull the string of a wrong person" Natasha said as seriousness sweep across their faces.
