The Chosen One

<Dream POV>

There are classic beginning to Heroes journey. That is the heroes touch upon their fate, then a fight to show how dangerous their path is. And today is the day of that beginning. It's just a flashback actually, for the middle part of my novel, everything got so complicated. Wait, let's start over.

My novel i wrote in junior high school, 'The Chosen One of God's Legacy', starting in a magic academy. The Protagonist is Hiiro Pureheart, and the first part is him get along with friends, fighting in the exam, and solving mysteries in the school.

The middle part i wrote in senior high school, but my taste changed. Tragedies, cruelty, and overpowered enemies the protagonist can't overcome start appearing.

Every arcs are killing his body and corroding his mind. He always comes out winner but losing something at the same time. It goes really bad for him, so I introduced the second protagonist. The real protagonist in Endera, The Chosen One, and his twin sister, Liliya Pureheart.

That's right, the chosen one is not Hiiro but Liliya. How can the MC I just added later become the real MC based on the title? Because I love plot twist! Get pranked you dumb reader

So, today is an important point in my novel and the beginning of The Chosen One's journey. This day, Liliya Pureheart, will die once. To be awaken as a hero later

'It's supposed to be… but will everything be like in the novel when the two Protagonist are them? Who the f*ck are they?'

It's a mess. Now i was recuperating in one of the duke mansion room, my injuries were completely healed, magic sure is great. I have calm down but I really can't get in mind at what happened. What I'm going to do…

The night before the tea party, in Count Pureheart study room.

"So what do you want to talk about?"

"Just some hard commission~ can you help me a little?"

"… sure"

Magic circle then appear in the floor, coating the entire room with purple hue. Selena, the owner of the magic circle begun chanting

Everything covered in white except the duo. the white world with just the two of them are in different space, so no one can peek at them.

It's a necessary step to avoid the duke February's intel. And it means the duke mustn't know, so Count face become serious.

"That perverted old man is really annoying. peeking at everyone inside his district, where's our f*cking privacy!? he must be clapping so hard while peeking at the district peoples right now"

"Hmph, why should i? This is my space anyway"

The stern Count Pureheart really can't handle his ex disciple mouth. If anyone saw this, they will be terrified and pray for Selena's safety. His nickname that widely spread is 'Silver Devil of Judgement' just his presence alone can crush thousands of army, and whenever he act, no one will be spared alive. The credibility of that rumours? That was an underestimation

"So, what is it about?"

"Okay, uhum. So there's something your kids discovered that got my attention…"

Selena start narrating what she saw in their memories.

"Your kids truly is geniuses, what is wrong with Pureheart bloodline, that's a cheat!."

"Is the one that surpassed everyone in her generation and create her own field of magic that not all Archmage can do, at 18 is supposed to say that?"

Count questioned with a smirk. He already knows what his childrens can do but still happy anyway when his ex disciple to notice it.

Then they turned serious. He got an inkling to what Selena going to say, and that is nothing to joke around.

"The Pentagram is not a constellation magic. What the hell they gonna do in the mansion anyway?"

"Tell me about the magic first"

"Ck, i was investigating it, but there's someone monitoring, I can't get a hold of the details. Just the outline, here"

In this space, Selena can create anything she wants. She created a 3D map of the district and red lines connecting some parts in the district that showed them a pentagram. not like what the twins draw, this time it have some details making it more like an incomplete magic circle.

The Count thinks deeply at it, trying to figure out what is the mysterious magic circle do. Selena knows the count habits and patiently waiting for him. In this white world with just the two of them and a 3D map, the time seems froze because the duo didn't make a movement at all.

When Selena are wondering is the time really froze or not, she felt the Count pressure descended. It's like gravity becomes hundred times bigger, she barely able to stand and not drop on her knees

"It's them"

The Count frown a little, but Selena knows more. It's his face when trying to hold his anger. His pressure are coated with some of his bloodlust, makes him looks like emitting red aura. That's a devil for you

"Demon summoning magic. The target is the tea party tomorrow, how dare a pests trying to disturb my family when I'm are around."

Demons, it's a race that lived in Darklands. They liked chaos, they wants to conquer the world, They have intelligence and might that can compare to all the races in the world. Because of them, all other races joined hands to make them stay in the darklands

And Count have a dark past that makes him detest even just a mention of them

"Now they want to hurt my kids too…"

"Upfh, hharg"

"Oh…"

Selena that has run out of breath, makes a strange sound and finally success to make him notice. He pulled back his pressure and Selena immediately fall down, catching her breath

"Haah haaah, give -ha meh a rest haaa"

"Ok, sorry"

Count that has calmed down begun to think how to solve this case. After Selena recovered, she's fuming but not say anything. his anger still scared her, but there's an important thing to discuss.

"The duke must've know it, his magic formation is real. But there's something that makes him didn't think that it is demon's magic or he's involved with it, which one?"

"Everytime tea party is held, for childrens at 8 years old they will use a constellation magic to peek into the kids fate. And the 'hidden magic circle' are masked by it. So I don't really sure"

It's actually more complicated than it's sounds like. Two ritual magic circle cannot be placed in the same place, or they will destroy each other. That's probably not what the enemy wanted. So we can deduce that they have a way to make that magic successful, unfortunately the Count didn't know how.

"So that's it! Can we just inform others then?"

"Hmm, no. We will act on our own"

"Why? Isn't that will make them resist us?"

The Count smirked. That's what he wants, so the one behind this to comes out, so he can destroy every one of them. No one can even think to hurt his family when he is around. Selena realized that, started complimenting him in her heart. She likes the guts, it makes her excited too.

"Can i join?"

"Of course, I need you. I can't make a move myself, so you can be the vanguard. Will you?"

"Yes! Let's beat their a*s, hihihi"

The duo started making plans all night. The first event will be changed without the Author knowing and the MCs didn't lift a hand.
