37. Team 7.

The team who came to escort them were a bunch of familiar faces—Naruto and Sakura. Accompanying them was the main heroine of the series, Sasuke, and the famous 50/50 Kakashi. Team Ajisai didn't know them, but Akira did, though he had to feign ignorance.

Naruto excitedly ran and called, "Akira-san!"

Naruto was too excited to meet Akira again, as he was the first ninja from another village who didn't try to kill him on their first meeting. Akira said, "Oh! Naruto, how are you?"

Naruto answered, "I am doing great! Are you here for the Five Kage Meeting?"

"Yes, and guess what? I am representing my village." Akira had a proud smile on his face.

"So cool!" Naruto had stars in his eyes. "Are you taking your Kage's place?"

"Of course. You can consider my words as our village's Kage's words," Akira said.

"You are so cool, Aniki (Translation: Big Brother)," Naruto said excitedly.

"Don't worry, Ototo (Translation: Little Brother). I will teach you how to climb the government ladder to reach the top. I am sure you will become the greatest Hokage ever." Akira and Naruto started walking hand in hand like brothers, dreaming of a better future.

Looking at Akira and Naruto telling their dreams of reaching the top and marrying beautiful women, Sasuke showed contempt and muttered, "Idiots."

Akira and Naruto turned to see him. They walked like a bunch of gangsters and looked down on him. "Did you just call us idiots?"

"Do you think you are better than us, emo kid?"

Sasuke didn't understand what an emo was, but hearing Akira's condescending tone, he knew it wasn't anything good. He activated his three-tomoe Sharingan. "So what?"

"Oh! Oh! Look, Ototo, he activated his Sharingan. It's making me afraid," Akira said sarcastically. He continued, "So what, my little brother can still beat your ass." Akira and Naruto started laughing out loud, mocking him.

The last sentence hit Sasuke's nerves, and he swung his fist, but before he could hit them, Kakashi caught his arm. "Don't attack our guest."

Bam!

Sakura punched Naruto on the head. "Shut up, idiot."

"Ouch! Ouch!" Akira's ear was pulled by Ajisai. She looked at Sasuke. "Sorry, our sensei sometimes goes too far."

She increased the pull, causing him more pain. She looked at him and said, "Sensei!"

"What?"

"Apologize."

"He started it."

"Sensei."

"Fiiiine." Akira relented, causing Ajisai to release her grip. He looked at Sasuke and said, "Sorry, kid. I didn't mean to be rude, although I only told the truth.... Ouch."

Ajisai pinched his waist. Akira said, "Okay, okay. To summarize, I am sorry."

Looking at this drama, Suiren asked Koemi, "Shouldn't you be the one to keep him in line?"

Koemi was smiling. "He was just having fun. This is how he makes new friends."

Kakashi released Sasuke's arm and walked to Koemi, thinking of her as the leader. He introduced the team, "We are Team 7. I am Kakashi Hatake. You already know the rowdy kid and girl. This kid is Sasuke. I welcome you to our village."

Kakashi reached his hand out for a handshake. Akira straightened his clothes and jumped in between. He shook his hand. "I am Akira, the leader of this delegation from Amegakure. She is Chunin Koemi, the redhead is Ajisai, the green-haired one is Suiren, and the black-haired one is Fuyo. These are genin and my students."

"Okay. Hokage-sama has asked us to give you a tour of the village before meeting them," Kakashi told them.

"Well, we are looking forward to it. But before that, do you know a place we could eat? We are hungry." Akira asked. He and Fuyo ran all night while he carried Suiren, Ajisai, and Koemi. He wasn't that tired even after all that, thanks to the immense increase in his physique.

"I know a good place. They make the best ramen," Naruto said, excited about taking his new friends to his favorite shop.

Seeing everyone okay with this choice, Akira said, "Okay, ramen it is."

"I am tired, Sensei. I want to sleep," Fuyo asked. She was way too tired. Seeing this, Akira asked her to get on his back. Fuyo climbed on his back and wrapped her arms around his neck, resting her head on his shoulder. Before she knew it, she fell asleep.

Ichiraku Ramen

Entering the shop, Akira noticed there were no customers present. He noticed the shop was bigger than shown in the anime. There were a more than a few seats right on the counter.

Ayame welcomed them with a smile. "Naruto, are they your new friends?"

Naruto excitedly said, "Yeah, they came all the way from the Land of Rain."

Ayame look at the new faces, "Oh! I welcome you all to our village. What would you like to order?"

"What do you recommend?" Akira asked Naruto while placing Fuyo on a seat, making sure not to wake her up.

"Miso-based ramen with extra chashu," Naruto replied.

"Then, 9X Miso-based ramen with extra chashu, please," Akira ordered.

"9X Miso-based ramen with extra chashu, coming right up," Ayame said and got back to the kitchen.

"I have eaten," Sasuke said while trying to get up. Akira patted his shoulder. "It's my treat, kid. Take it as an apology for my rudeness."

Hearing his sincere words, Sasuke felt better and sat back down. 'So easy,' Akira grinned inside his heart. "So while we wait, I have an important question I am trying to find an answer to."

"How did Uchiha Sasuke, the most talented kid in his class, get beaten up by Naruto, who failed two years in a row?" Hearing Akira tease him, Sasuke stood up again. Everybody started to laugh while Naruto held Sasuke to stop him from running away.

After having a fulfilling lunch, everybody was happy except for Akira. Looking at his wallet, he was thinking of excuses to tell Konan to answer the question: Where did all his money go?
