Happy Birthday

12 years later

~ Laura's P.O.V~

"Happy birthday!" My best friend June yelled as she ran up to me.

" Thank you " I smiled as I got out of my

car.

"Let's go! Everyone's waiting in class

" she said.

She dragged me inside the school and

to, our first class. Luckily my friends

and me had every class together.

We wallked in and I looked at the

clock. I saw we were ten minutes

early, so no one else was in class yet.

" Happy birthday Laura !! " Everyone

yelled. I was stunned.

" Thanks guys " I said happily.

" Anything for our girl " Drake smiled as he gave me a hug.

" Oldie" Mario joked.

We all laughed.

"Open it " June said as she handed me a bag.

" It's from all of us " Mario added.

"Hope you like it " Drake said.

I opened the bag and pulled out a

small box. I opened up the box and

looked inside. Inside was a beautiful

charm bracelet. I looked at the

charms and saw there was a J, M and D charms, standing for all of my

friends.

" Guys, it's beautiful " I gasped.

" Glad you like it " June smiled.

"I love it!"I said happily.

" Good " Drake and Mario said with a

smile.

" Oh by the way. My house tonight,

eight o'clock " I said.

" We'll be there " June smiled.

I put on my bracelet just as bell rang and students came into the classroom. We all sat down in the back and let the torture known as school begin.

See you " the boys said back.

We all went our separate ways to our vehicles. Mine being a black

Mercedes, Mario's being a Blue Honda,

Drake's being a red motorcycle and

June's being a red Mercedes.

I waved goodbye and drove off.

"Let's put on the rađio!! " My wolf

Skyler suggested.

" Ok "Ireplied.

I turned on the radio and me and

Skyler's jam came on.

" YES! " Skyler yelled.

I blasted the volume and sang.

" Turn my vocals up, alright.

I Wrote this song as a message for

help.

On behalf on anybody finding

theirselves.

I shout, I swear, I get angry, I get

" That was awesome! "Skyler yelled

happily.

" Yeah it was!" I agreed.

I pulled up into my driveway.

I hopped out of the car and ran inside.

" Happy birthday! " my parents yelled

as I walked inside.

" Thanks guys " I smiled.

" Anything for you" my mother said.

" We love you " my father said.

My parents had met at school. They

were both werewolves and had found

out they were mates the second they

met. After they ended up becoming

Alpha and Luna of my pack, then

they adopted me. I can still faintly

remember how I met my mom. I was

a kid in the orphanage. She and my

father had came to volunteer. She was

there for me, like when my brother

got adopted without me, when I got

into fights with my friends and she

was the one who adopted me.

"Love you guys too"I replied.

" Here " my mother said as she handed me and bag.

" Thank you guys " I smiled.

We walked into the living room

and sat down. I opened the bag and

looked inside. It was a small

black camera anda photo in a frame.

I looked at the photo and saw it was a

little me along with my parents.

"I love it" I sighed happily.

" We hoped you would " they said

happily.

I gave them a hug and ran up to

my room. I put the photo on my

nightstand and the camera on my

desk. I ran to my closet and grabbed

extra clothes. Then I waked back

downstairs.

" I'm going for a run before my

friends get here" I said.

" Be back by eight " my mom replied.

" Stay in the pack grounds " my dad

added.

"I will " I replied.

I walked outside and into the woods.

I tied the clothes to my ankle and

shifted into my white and grey

coloured wolf.

"Lets go! " Skyler said as she took control.

"Have at it "I replied.

I watched as Skyler bolted further

into the woods. She darted past trees,

branches, rocks, and a few more

things that were in the forest. She ran

and stopped at a river.

"I'm done " she said tiredly.

She gave me control and I walked

over to the river and I took a cool sip

of the water. Suddenly I heard a twig

snap. I quickly turned around and

saw nothing.

Weird

" Your friends are here "my mom mind

linked me.

" Coming! "I yelled back.

I ran as fast as I could home. I stopped

and shifted. I threw on my clothes

and ran inside.

"Finally" June said as I entered.

"Sorry, I went for a run " I replied.

"Whatever. We made cake! " Drake

smiled.

"Let's eat!" Mario yelled.

" Let's! " my father agreed.

We all laughed and walked into the

kitchen. We sat down at the table and

my mom and June gave us all cake.

" Thank you Alpha and Luna " my

friends said politely.

" Guys, how many times have we told

you? Call us Jake and Jade " my mom

and dad replied.

" Habit " Mario shrugged.

We all laughed and ate cake until my

fathers Beta burst into the house.

Alpha! Luna! We have a vampire,

Mario shouted.

"A Vampire?! " My father yelled.

" Yes sir and... " he began.

And what? " my mother asked.

" He's the Kings son".
