Chapter 26: Breakthrough Pills

Looking at Alex who had woken up and was looking at her, Qingyue's face started to heat up.

Alex's voice was still a bit a bit sleepy. Although he did not need to sleep but he still did. Last night, he fell asleep and to be honest he felt that it was something he needed. His mind felt fresh and so he decided that he would sleep for a few hours everyday.

Alex looked at Qingyue's face which had started to warm up.

'I guess her thoughts have affected her body. Maybe she has gotten a fever?' thought Alex.

Alex noticed that he was still holding her hand and decided to take it back and go find some breakfast for Qingyue to eat. He tried to pull back his hand but found that Qingyue was holding it tightly, although he could pull it back easily with his strength, but he did not want to harm her so he spoke,

"Can you leave my hand?"

QIngyue however was not listening at all. She was still emersed in Alex's eyes, completely ignoring what Alex had just said as he said once again and she jolted,

"Huh?"

As she looked at her hand and realised that she was the one who was holding Alex's hand this time and spoke,

"I- I am sorry!" as she hurriedly pulled her hand back.

Alex smiled and said, "It's completely alright Qingyue. I will go grab something for you to eat."

Alex stood up and went downstairs, leaving Qingyue alone inside the room whose face was flushed and was looking downwards.

Sometime later, Alex returned with breakfast for her, which she ate and then Alex asked whether she wanted to rest for a few days but she denied and said that she wanted to begin her training right away.

Then Alex took her to their training area which was concealed by an array formation that Alex had created. Qingyue felt amazed by this. Even her sect did not have a concealment formation.

Alex and Qingyue then landed on the ground and Alex spoke,

"I have something for you before we officially begin your training."

Saying so, Alex pulled out a pill from his inventory, 

"This pill will open 7 more of your profound entrances. I will help you assimilate it in your body as it is an Emperor Grade pill."

Qingyue nodded and sat in the lotus position on the ground.

Alex then gave her the pill and said, "Here you go."

Qingyue ate it and started to assimilate it. Alex who was about to use his energy to help her absorb it was surprised to find out that the pill was automatically absorbed into her body.

'I guess this must be due to her special physique. Last time she needed my help but this time she doesn't. Way to go for the proud daughter of the heavens.' thought Alex

Qingyue on the other hand opened her eyes after a few minutes and found out that her profound entrances went from 20 to 27.

'Amazing! With these alone my cultivation speed would be several times faster than before!'

After Qingyue was done with the pill refinement, Alex gave her an hour to get used to the feeling of having multiple extra profound entrances and then Alex gave her the True Profound Pill.

The True Profound Pill increases the chances of breakthrough for people who have met the requirements of cultivation base required to breakthrough to the True Profound Realm.

It is also useful for the cultivators who are trying to increase their minor realms in the True Profound Realm. Basically, as long as you meet the requirements and have these pills, you are sure to reach the next realm.

It wasn't that there weren't any pills in this world, it's just that most of these pills are only for breaking through from one major realm to the next major realm.

They hadn't even taken the idea of pills for minor realms into consideration. Did they think that reaching the next major realm was the only thing that mattered? Well, if you don't even get through the minor realms what use would be the pills that were used to reach the next major realm?

Within the next hour, Qingyue had broken through to the 1st level of the True Profound Realm.

While she was breaking through, Alex had set up a Sovereign Grade Profound Energy Gathering Formation. Alex had also connected the concealment formation that he was using to this formation as before he had used 200g of the Purple Viened Divine Crystal to power up the Emperor Grade Concealment formation.

But now, he saw no point in wasting his crystals here. The connection between the two arrays basically provided energy required by the concealment array to operate and also to the Energy Gathering Array itself. And the rest of the energy was gathered at the center of the Formation.

Alex made Xia Qingyue sit at the center of the formation, to give her the maximum effects. He added sound canceling formation at her place, so that she doesn't get distracted by him.

Alex looked at Qingyue who was now sitting in the lotus position and spoke,

"I want you to cultivate here for as long as you can. This formation will provide you energy density that is greater than those Sacred Grounds. Here, eat these before you start cultivating."

Alex took out two pills from his inventory, one blue and one brown.

The blue one fulfilled the body's requirement of water for about 10 days on being eaten while the brown one is for the food requirements.

Qingyue nodded and ate them one by one, feeling the effects. Alex then spoke, "You can cultivate for as long as you want, the effects would last for around 10 days during which you won't require food or water."

"But, I don't want you to get bored. So, it's up to you. I will be working nearby and can sense if anything were to happen here, so don't worry and do your best."

Qingyue felt reassured after hearing that Alex will be staying nearby.

Saying so, Alex activated the noise canceling formation and went to the outer area of the concealment formation where his Alchemy materials and furnace were present.

Qingyue had started to cultivate with full dedication and now it was the turn of Alex to improve himself.

Alex's eyes shone with a purple glint as he spoke while walking to the Alchemy furnace,

"Let's get started!"
