If we are fated, then we will meet again

Yang Li was on his way toward Rusa for the royal feast. He had around 500 men dressed in civilized dress and 10 only in armed clothes. The reason was complicated but he knew that he was walking toward his death, but he knew that the royal feast would be a glorious time to know better about the insiders of Rusa and the royal palace.

Chang- Do you think their royal army won't be a trouble for our men to enter?

Duyi Chao- I don't think so. Also, I have met the king of Rusa a few times. He is nothing but just a man crazy for power. And for 2 years his first queen was the one who made the army powerful.

Chang- That's sad that Princess of Ailtics has to stick with that senseless king, Emperor, what are you thinking?

Yang Li- I want to see the local market. Tell our 500 men to split up around Rusa and get more information. And rest 10 will meet us at the palace door.

Chang- Why need to see the local market?

Duyi Chao- Of course to see what's going on among the commoner?

Chang nodded and Yang Li got down from his horse and walked toward the locality followed by Duyi Chao.

The local market of Rusa was well known for its spices, silks, rare stones, and war horses. Most of the people there were well stabled and the market was also well managed by the people. Yang Li sat in a restaurant with Duyi Chao. One boy came and smiled at them.

Boy- You guys seem new here.

Yang Li- Yes, we are traders of silk. Where can we find the best silk of Rusa?

Boy- You should go to '' A-ri Trader,'' he sells the best silk. What do you want to eat?

Duyi Chao- The best one in your place.

The boy nodded and smiled at them.

Yang Li- The market of Rusa seems a bit calm today. What happened?

Boy- Actually King Aiguo is having his first heir but not from our first queen. And today is the first day of the royal feast. Many traders are gone there to congratulate the king and the new royal queen.

Duyi Chao- But why did you say our first queen? Is she special and different from another queen?

The boy smiled widely and his face glowed up.

Boy- Our First queen is the best person in the whole of Rusa, because of her now homeless people can have free food and shelter. She made all of the kids studying basic education and also basic war skills. Before her King of Rusa was a very irresponsible prince and most of the citizen was bullied by him. But she changed the place. But King chooses to break his words.

Yang Li- Words?

Boy- It was well known in the Rusa that King promised not to have any queen other than her but he broke it.

Yang Li nodded and the boy went away. It was clear to him that Impartial Queen was really popular among the common people also the sudden growth of Rusa was owe to her. And he also understood that it was a good time to break the Rusa Army and Royals from inside. He looked at Duyi Chao and nodded. He stood up and walked around the market.

He was walking around the market then suddenly someone bumped his shoulder. He looked down as he felt light and then he saw a man running away with his bag which was containing gold coins. He was running after the man but the market was crowded.

But he stopped as he saw that a woman who was covering her face ran faster than him and kicked that man's left leg. That man fell to the ground and that woman held his hands from behind and took that bag. Yang Li was quite impressed by that unknown woman's skills. He saw that woman talking to that thief. That thief nodded and that woman let him go,

Yang Li walked toward her and she stood up. He looked at her eyes straight. They were hazel brown and had double eyelids. For a while, he thought his world stopped and his heart was beating so fast. She blinked her eyes and he gulped down and smiled at her.

-You look like a newcomer here.

Yang Li- Yeah, I am a trader of silk. I heard the local market of Rusa sells the best silk around the world.

-They do but you should be careful. No place is crime-free and Rusa isn't different.

He nodded with a smiled and she gave him the bag.

Yang Li- Thank you Miss. If you don't mind I would like to repay you.

She just shook her head as no.

-If you get some other chance then repay me some other day.

Yang Li- What if I don't meet you again?

- Leave it to fate, if we are fated to meet again then we will meet again. Till then goodbye,

Yang Li nodded and she walked away. But when she was walking away something fall from her dress but maybe she didn't care. Yang Li bend down and took that well-crafted hairpin with a flamingo on its top with diamond. He just smiled and looked at her fading among the crowd.

Yang Li- I hope we will meet again and I'll get a chance to repay you. Miss Flamingo Hairpin.

Fen Ju walked into her chamber and her best friend aka her fellow soldire in Ailtics, Ailla.

Ailla- What took you so long from coming back to the market.

Fen Ju- I bumped into a newcomer and helped him. His money pouch was stolen.

Ailla nodded and helped her to remove her clothing. Then he noticed something weird.

Ailla- Where is your Flamingo Hairpin?

Fen Ju's eyes widen and they started to look around but they didn't find anything. Fen Ju let out a sigh and sat on the couch.

Fen Ju- Maybe it falls down while I was running after that theife.

Ailla- It was gifted by King Dagen on your wedding.[ Fen Ju's late father]

Fen Ju- Maybe my father also wants me to stop cry over that man. He said the real man for me would make me wear it under moonlight and Aiguo isn't the one so I just lost it,

Ailla nodded and they heard a knock. The door opened prevailing Chyou with a smirk on her face.

Ailla- Royal Queen,

She bowed as a formality and Chyou walked toward Fen Ju.

Fen Ju- what are you doing here?

Chyou- Just missing my old caretaker. You know these maids can't take care of me.

Fen Ju- Do I look like your maid?

Chyou chuckled and pat her shoulder.

Chyou- You aren't any better though. What are you now? The royal queen. ohh You are not as you are infertile.

Fen Ju got angry and was about to say something but Ailla held her hand.

Fen Ju- I am warning you for the last time. Just leave my chamber.

Chyou-What if I don't?

Fen Ju- Don't blame me if you lose your dignity and shame.

Chyou scoffed and gave her a challenging look. Fen Ju smirked and took the hand of Chyou. Chyou gave her a confused look and Fen Ju put that on Chyou's stomach.

Fen Ju- Are you sure in just 18 days you are pregnant by King.

Maids grasped hearing Fen Ju's word. Chyou became defensive and she yanked off Fen Ju's hand.

Chyou- ARE YOU SAYING IT'S NOT KING'S CHILD?

Fen Ju- I didn't say that.

Fen Ju gave her an innocent look and Chyou became frustrated.

Chyou- YOU ARE A WITCH, AND YOU ARE JEALOUS THAT I AM GIVING BIRTH TO THE KING'S FIRST CHILD NOT YOU. YOU ARE JEALOUS THAT I AM THE ROYAL QUEEN OF RUSA.

Fen Ju put a finger on Chyou's lips and said in a very calm tone.

Fen Ju- My status as Princess of Ailtics is more powerful and weightful than your title as Royal Queen of Rusa. and you are pregnant so be careful who knows he/she is the first heir of Rusa, what will happen?

Chyou's breath started getting heavy and she was about to fall down but someone entered the room and it was Aiguo. He held her by her waist and looked at her worriedly.

Aiguo- Xiao XianNV, are you okay?

Chyou nodded and she looked at Fen Ju with fake tears of hers.

Chyou- S-she s-said I- am not bearing your child, and said anything can happen to my child. I am scared of her king.

She buried her face into his chest and let out some fake sob. Aiguo looked at Fen Ju with angry eyes.

Aiguo- YOU REALLY QUESTIONED MY BLOOD HUH?

Fen Ju- I did, so what?

Aiguo helped Chyou to stand carefully, he asked the maids to take her to the medico and asked all to leave him alone with Fen Ju. He walked toward Fen Ju with full rage.

Aiguo- ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND QUEEN FEN JU?

Fen Ju looked at Aiguo with cold eyes, which was something really new to Aiguo. As he always saw Fen Ju's soft gaze.

Fen Ju- Am I out of my mind? Of course, I am. I am out of mind, seeing you happy with someone else and forgetting about me. Tell me from the day you came, how many days we saw each other except in the royal court, and when your wife fake complained about me and you blamed me for nothing. Did you even ask how I was? Tell me, did you ask why I was pale and weak? I almost died Aiguo. Want to know why?

She grabbed his collar and looked into his eyes.

Fen Ju- Because I was taking care of your empire and also searching for you. God knows how many nights I didn't sleep? God knows how much I love you yet when I asked for our divorce you didn't ask me to stay? Were our 2 years nothing? tell me. were m-my l-love and c-care nothing to you?

With that Fen Ju fell on her knees while crying. She let her heart speak that day, she let her words reach Aiguo, she let her tears flow in front of him. Her love was unconditional and pure, her soul was loyal yet he decided to betray her like that, break into pieces, and made her a dead who was just breathing and walking.

Fen Ju- All are saying that I am infertile without knowing that you never even kissed me let alone making love. Tell me, why did you choose her over me? What was I lacking? Tell me, let me know, w-where di-did I let you down? You asked me to give up on my swordsmanship, I did. You said you need time to start a family, then why am I suffering?

Aiguo did let out a single word the whole time. Fen Ju thought her words would reach his heart, maybe even till that moment she had a small hope, that at least, at least her husband would tell her the reason, but Alas. He choosed not to speak and break her heart which was always filled up with love. Which always knew to give but never got in return.

Aiguo- Come down at 8 pm, the royal party would start, you need to pretend like Impartial Queen.

He walked away from that room as he walked away from her life. He left her broken like she was nothing. He left her on the ground without gathering her broken pieces.

He never knew that day, that it was his biggest mistake to leave a diamond for a bronze. He never knew that day, that he would cry and pray to God to turn back the time and he would hug her, never letting her go. He never knew that he was losing the only angle of his life. If he did, he would beg her and ask for her forgiveness. If he did, he would never let her one teardrop, cause her every drop of tears were paid by the blood of his and his people.
