First friend and First victim

Kenny looked at Vance and had an indifferent attitude towards him, he nodded and went to the training arena meant for the soldiers, the soldiers parring on the arena looked at Kenny and stepped down to make space for them

After getting on the stage, Kenny started stretching to get more comfortable and get ready for a spar, Vance got on as well and just waited for him, his shirt fluttering in the wind

After about 5 minutes, Kenny said "shall we start?"

Vance indifferently "sure come at me"

Kenny waited no more and he leapt forward at full speed, he threw a powerful body shot to the stomach, Vance was surprised he couldn't believe the kid in front of him was a 6 year old kid as his speed was no joke

But of course it wasn't a big deal for him as he just turned him body to dodge, Kenny expected this as he swiftly twisted his body using the initial momentum to thrust his left elbow towards Vance's face

This truly caught Vance off guard and he was forced to block it rather than just dodge, Kenny was certain his enemy was sturdy and tried to use him as a means to practice his boxing skills from earth as practicing alone wasn't as effective

Vance was dazed as he continued to block or dodge the whole time, after about 15 minutes Vance used his combat skills as well he didn't use any technique which needed mana and just sparred, to his surprise Kenny dodged most of it and the ones he couldn't dodge he just redirected with an offence

This dragged on for another 10 minutes as one of Vance's punches connected with Kenny's stomach and he was sent back a few steps, Kenny was on his knees and breathing hard as he thought to himself 'this Vance's punches are no joke, how can he have such strength without using mana?'

And the Vance and Kenny looked at each other like they were both looking at monsters and suddenly started to laugh, this was truly an interesting fight for both of them, Vance lent his hand for Kenny to get up and he gladly accepted it, they both thought to themselves 'I bet we'll get along real well'

And just like that Kenny had his first friend this this new world

The surrounding onlookers who were watching the fight were stunned, the people who thought that the previous rumours were fake or exaggerated felt like they were just slapped, they thought how could such a fight be by a 6 year old

Kenny didn't even look at them as he left to the family backyard with Vance, on the way Vance asked him "young master, how can you be so well versed in fighting, those moves were so unique and well refined"

Kenny said indifferently "it was from one of the books in father's library, it looked interesting so I gave it a look"

Vance nodded, there was nothing strange about a high noble family having a few combat skill manuals, Kenny asked him "how do you have such a rugged body and your punches felt so heavy?"

Vance said "when you start cultivating, the mana flows through your body before reaching below your stomach where it pools down, and even if that is the case there will always be some amount of mana circulating in your body which nourishes it and makes you stronger"

Kenny was stunned "damn, I can't wait to begin cultivating, ok I'm gonna go practice lion's claw skill so I'll come spar with you everyday, give me pointers if from next time"

Vance nodded and went back to his own training

Kenny started reading and comprehending the lion's claw combat skill which was a hand to hand skill and focused on slashing and fast movements to overwhelm his opponents, the base element for this skill was pretty versatile as the skill was compatible with any element but this advantage could only be seen when at the 3rd level"

Kenny resumed his normal routine of basic workouts, training his movement skills, practicing combat skills and sparring with Vance

After a few days of this cycle, a guest visited the mansion, this guest would be the first victim that Kenny would slay, the first person he would have to step on
