A pair of ice-blue eyes gazed out the window of a car. The silky white hair fluttered in the breeze as she sat, her skin smooth and unblemished. Her thinking was incomprehensible, while her face wore a look of indifference as if she were isolated from the world.

"Young Miss, you seem to be troubled by something."

"...!"

"Young Miss…"

"Hmm… Francis you called me?"

The driver of the car was Francis the Butler, a member of the Sunfrost family. The family-controlled cold storage technologies as well as the solar panel business. For many generations, the family had dominated this sector. Surprisingly the latest generation saw the family business exploding, giving it a chance to become one of the top families in the world.

With high ambitions, the family had set to announce the date of release of the latest revolutionary technology.

None of the top families favored this development as none of them wanted another family amongst their ranks. Even though not willing to share a portion of their resources and power, none of them made a move. In a niche sector where a family is unbeatable, they could do little to suppress it. So there were tremors among the top families when the news of new technology got to them.

As if blessed by the Goddess of Luck, everything was going well for the Sunfrost family. Nevertheless, the saying "good times never last long" seemed correct. Right before the announcement of the new technology a piece of information came out which went viral.

Every social media platform, news channel, every headline seem to show only one piece of information- "The Rising Sunfrost family loses its most talented family head". Nobody knew how such an ordeal took place, did someone assassinate him? Natural death? Suicide? Nobody knew the real cause of death of the family head of the Sunfrost family. Nevertheless, they knew now the threat of the Sunfrost family was gone.

Overnight a rising family on the verge of breaking through the barrier of top families had fallen. Soon in the following days Sunfrost family suffered, its reputation plummeted to the ground bottom. It received negative comments and criticism. Even the value of family shares seemed to have started to drop.

Even though the family faced a downfall in the following years, nobody denied its strong foundations. Despite experiencing many years of downfall the family still stood high. At the right time, Ms. Sarah guided the company, even stabilizing its shares.

The family and the company were left with seemingly only one heir named Michelle which according to the documents would inherit all the properties when she turns 18. Naturally, there were many eyes on the properties. Even top families couldn't help but want to take advantage of such a situation. If not for Ms. Sarah's overprotectiveness and strong character they would have had a long arranged marriage with her.

She was staring out the window of the car as if lost; nobody could guess what was going on in her head until Francis' voice brought her back to reality.

"Miss is something the matter, it seems like something has been constantly troubling you."

"…!"

"I have been your butler since you were born, you can trust me."

"It's not that I don't want to tell you but believe me, Francis, nothing is troubling me."

"Miss I have watched you grow, I can immediately notice if something is wrong, there is no way you can deceive me."

She seemed to have nothing in response. She knew what Francis said was true, but she wasn't quite willing to share her problems with anyone. She seemed to have experienced tremendous change after her father's death. Nobody could say they were the same person if they compare her past self [before her father's death] to her current self.

On that day her mother had also died, but nobody knew why or how, one can feel chills by only imagining the trauma and depression she had gone through. Nonetheless, nobody could deny her strong willpower and the potential she held, not only did she stabilize herself where many would have fallen but also obtained the Void token of 'Etheral Void Academy'. [commonly called 'void academy]

This exam was held once every 5 years. The academy had an acceptance ratio of less than 0.01%, by seeing this only one could imagine the difficulty of getting into the academy. To get into the academy one had to go through various tests and beat thousands of participants. Only one out of 10,000 was able to win the Void token.

The Void token was the key to giving the final test which eliminated most of the participants were, figures even reaching 99%. Nobody knew what challenges the exam posed, as all those who failed seemed to have forgotten them.

Each void token holder was successful in his/her life no matter if he passed or failed the final examination. This alone told how high the potential was of each token holder.

*sigh*

"Francis…, my aunt seemed pretty busy these days, is something the matter, does me being the token holder not changed the situation…?"

Although she had a vague idea, she wasn't sure what situation her aunt was facing, and also she had to give a reply to Francis. Although she didn't show it she had quite trust in him, after all, he with her since her childhood.

"Miss, after you became the token holder most of the family members started favoring you and the pressure from a family almost vanished."

"Then…?"

"Although the pressure from family vanished, you seemed to have garnered quite an attention from other families. Even the top families seemed to have started to notice you. After all, being a token holder on top of being the sole heir of the Sunfrost family, you have immeasurable potential."

"So she is receiving a marriage proposal from families…?"

"Yes! Having someone as your potential and position in their family would surely boost their family to great heights. Ms. Sarah is busy handling them. If not for the fear Void Academy they would have already started using force and underhanded methods"

"The final exam is still left, I can't afford to fail it.."

She mumbled the words in a low voice. But with his keen senses, Francis was able to pick them up.

"Miss, you should be careful, many people would be eyeing you as you are maturing. I hope you will be able to overcome the difficulties and pass the final test."

"…!"

She didn't want her words to be heard, but she couldn't help appreciate her butler inside her heart. She knew he genuinely cared for her as if she was his child.

She knew how much it meant for her to be passing the final exam, but it surely won't be a simple ordeal after all the token holders are geniuses. Shining among them surely required something special. Despite, not being confident in winning, she knew one thing- that she had to give her best as failure would have serious consequences for her.

For now, nobody had an idea when the final test will happen and what will happen in it. She stopped worrying and looked outside her window with the same stoic face and the look of indifference she had earlier. Her car was taking her to the school.

Suddenly, she saw three people riding a bicycle at full speed. She didn't think of them much until she noticed the person in middle. There seemed to be a slight change in her emotion, and for a second her perfectly stoic face and expression of indifference broke.

Of course, this development was immediately noticed by the keen eyes of the butler, he seemed shocked for a second. "What caused it..?" seemed to be the question that arose. He followed her gaze and saw 3 people riding their bicycles. He didn't see anything special in them making him wonder what caused the Young miss to have a change in emotion.
