"H-how could this happen?" grumbled the large man, towering over two meters tall and covered in tough black scales. He clenched his shoulder to stop the bleeding, realizing it wasn't helping much.
Glaring at the puny human approaching him, he roared angrily, "They told me I was the strongest being on this planet! This can't be happening!"
The human looked down at him, staying silent for a moment before smiling. "Yeah, you're not wrong. You've got the best stats among all the monsters I've seen. Your maximum stats break the limits of what we humans could achieve with conventional stat increases."
Frowning, the black-scaled man watched as the human crouched beside him, examining his injured body. "Hmm, looks like the Dragon King title comes with decent durability. Your scales really are tough, huh?" the human remarked, shifting his attention to the dragon king's face.
The two made eye contact briefly, but the human gave him a warm smile but it slowly turned into a smirk as he spoke. "You really are the strongest, trust me. But you see, I'm the richest, and I can do a lot more than just barge into the enemy's territory and kill a bunch of people."

"Keuurgh!"
"Hey, dragon bastard, what made you think you could attack my people and walk back unscathed?" the human whispered in the dragon king's ear before swinging his fist again, the punch penetrating the dragon's scales.

The dragon's body rippled with every strike, but the human ignored the damage to the already broken building nearby, continuing to bash the dragon king. After a few seconds, he stood up, staring at the sky before speaking, "I know you guys are watching, and let me just tell you one thing, Helen."
Taking a deep breath, he showed his middle finger at the sky. "I. Will. Get. You."
"They can't hear you, Larcen.", a familiar feminine voice entered his ears.
Larcen turned around and gave the woman a serious look, "You failed as a guide, Alison. I'll complain to the higher ups once we get back."
Alison stared at the person who she was ordered to poach into their organisation, "You really are carefree, aren't you?"
"We can't change do much about this situation so what's the point of worrying. My safety is in the hands of your faction so I'll let you guys worry about it instead. I'll just do my job here and get back home... "
"Are you sure you want to take them with you?", Alison asked as she looked around to make sure no one was listening.
Larcen nodded as he placed his bloodied hands in his pocket, "Yeah. I'll leave their safety to you guys too. Once I come out of hiding, I want to see them happy and healthy. Anyways, let me have some more fun with this lizard here. After all, I haven't had this much fun in ages."
Alison watched him feed the dragon some regeneration pills before shaking her head in disappointment, "It's a bad thing to get attached to people as a diver. Especially falling in love."
Larcen didn't respond and knowing what kind of person he was, she didn't push her luck and walked away, hoping that he would finish the dragon off as soon as possible.
'This guy has the ability to change the fate of our faction. Offending him is not worth the risk.'
