Chapter 6

Under the cloak of darkness, Ayoki stealthily approached the territory of the goblins, his senses on high alert as he observed their activities from a safe distance.

To his surprise, he beheld a scene unlike anything he had encountered in the games of his childhood. Instead of the mindless, crazed creatures he had expected, the goblins appeared to be engaged in a variety of tasks. They were laughing, eating, and conversing with one another, some even busy weaving clothes and crafting items.

Ayoki couldn't help but feel perplexed by this unexpected sight. In the games he had played, goblins were depicted as lower beings, characterized by their manic and irrational behavior. Yet here, they displayed a level of intelligence and social cohesion that defied his expectations.

Though Ayoki considered himself an introvert, his curiosity often led him to explore the realms of creepy horror and supernatural myths. His solitary pursuits had often left him isolated from others when he was a kid, but he found solace in the mysteries he sought to uncover.

"Wow, it's really different from what I've seen in games," Ayoki remarked with a smirk, his mind buzzing with questions and theories.

Well enough of that, his stomach grumbles.

As Ayoki entered the storage room of the goblin camp in search of food, he was immediately confronted by three goblins who were laughing and chatting at a nearby table.

-_-

The awkward silence that followed was palpable as Ayoki and the goblins locked eyes, each party sizing up the other.

From the goblins' perspective, Ayoki appeared as a human boy with disheveled hair and torn, dirty clothing—a sight that puzzled and intrigued them.

The first goblin identified Ayoki simply as "a human," prompting a discussion among the trio about what to do with him.

"Gruk, what do you think we should do?" one of the goblins asked, seeking the opinion of their companion.

Another goblin chimed in with an idea, suggesting they lead Ayoki to the human village—a notion that was met with skepticism by the third goblin.

"They'll kill us if a human was lost in the forest and found here," the third goblin warned, voicing concerns about the potential consequences of their actions.

Meanwhile, Ayoki's heart raced as he listened to the goblins' conversation, unable to understand their words but sensing the gravity of the situation. His PTSD from previous encounters with monsters threatened to overwhelm him as he instinctively assumed a battle-ready stance, his mind reeling with fear and confusion.

Suddenly, a loud explosion rocked the area outside the tent, prompting the goblins to spring into action, brandishing their spears and accusing Ayoki of being responsible for the intrusion.

"It's your fault, human!" one of the goblins named Grek accused, his voice filled with anger and suspicion.

Confused and alarmed by the goblins' sudden hostility, Ayoki prepared himself for a confrontation, his grip tightening on his makeshift spear as he struggled to comprehend the situation unfolding around him. Unable to understand the goblins' language.

Am I stupid! Why am i not attacking this bastards and just standing here! waiting for them to attack, UGHH!

Ayoki's frustration and fear reached a boiling point as he charged at the three goblins, catching them off guard with his newfound strength and speed. With a powerful sweep of his spear, he nearly pierced the heart of one of the goblins, only to have his attack deftly parried.

"Gruk, enough! I'll just kill you, human!" one of the goblins, Gruk, bellowed in rage, goading his companions into action. The other two goblins joined the fray, their combined numbers overwhelming Ayoki despite their individual weaknesses.

As Ayoki fought desperately against the goblins' coordinated attacks, he found himself outmatched by their superior technique and experience. His mind raced as he attempted to anticipate their movements, but his lack of combat experience left him vulnerable to their relentless assault.

In a moment of weakness, Ayoki's arms were pierced by the goblins' spears, causing him to cry out in pain and stumble backwards. SHIT! he mumbles He retreated to a corner of the room, his mind consumed with fear as he faced the prospect of imminent death.

Summoning his last reserves of strength, Ayoki seized a nearby lantern and hurled it towards one of the goblins, igniting a blaze that sent the creature writhing in agony. one of the goblins trying to extenguish the fire and other attacking ayoki.

Seizing the opportunity, Ayoki launched himself at one of the goblins, his enhanced strength and speed allowing him to overpower the creature and deliver a fatal blow. he turned to face the remaining goblin,

and strike it to the left breaking its skull.

Ayoki looks at his arms he realized the severity of his injuries and the grim reality of his situation.

Coughing and struggling to remain conscious, Ayoki knelt on the floor, his hands trembling with pain. With each passing moment, his strength ebbed away, and the fear of bleeding out consumed him.

"I need to find a way to stop the bleeding," Ayoki muttered to himself, his voice barely audible over the chaos of battle.

...

Ayoki staggered into the storage room, his vision blurred with pain and exhaustion. The room was filled with supplies, offering a brief respite from the chaos outside. Ignoring the orb that floated towards him, he focused on his immediate need for food and medical supplies.

With trembling hands, Ayoki tore off a piece of cloth and used it to bandage his wounded arm, biting down on another piece to stifle his screams of pain. Tears streamed down his face as he struggled to tend to his injuries, but he refused to give in to despair.

As he ate whatever he could find in the storage room, his stomach grumbled with hunger, reminding him of the days he had gone without food. Exhausted and drained, Ayoki collapsed to the ground, overwhelmed by the weight of his ordeal.

Cough, why did i experienced this? what did i ever do wrong, ayoki tired from blood lost. I only want to enjoy myself from exploring, sighs, he looks at the celling aboved contemplating.

Outside the tent, the sounds of explosions and goblins screaming filled the air, a constant reminder of the danger that lurked just beyond the tent. Despite his fatigue, Ayoki remained on edge, his senses alert for any sign of danger.

Suddenly, the sound of footsteps drew his attention, Shit, im seriously going to die here, Ayoki mumbled struggled to stand, ready to defend himself against whatever threat approached. But as he caught sight of the figures before him, his vision blurred, and he felt himself slipping into unconsciousness.
