Meng Yi Ran had just entered at the time the thief rumor started.She had of a person in a black outfit and immediately spotted her.She stood on the sides as the guards tried to catch her and how she immediately turned and beat them up.She looked at her face and although she couldn't see her clearly she was sure of one thing that that girl was her Meng Hui.She got closer and saw her face clearly and was really assured that it was her.Some CEO'S of know companies approached her and talked for a while before she excused herself."Meng Hui why is your hair all wet?"Liu Jing asked looking at her.He had patted her head and felt it wet"I couldn't find the hair dryer and I was in a hurry."She shrugged"How many times have I told you to take care of your health?What if you catch a cold?"Xixian angrily nugged her"I'm fine don't worry."She nodded her head indicating that she was fine"No let's go and dry that hair."Xixian held her hand and before she could take the first step a beautiful woman came Infront of them.She was wearing a black tulle_A line off shoulder long dress with lace sequins.She had diamond earrings that had rabbit designs on them and a gold necklace and bracelet.She paired her outfit with a six inch ankle strap open heeled stiletto that had a big bow behind."Hello CEO Wang and CEO Liu."She said taking a glass of champagne"CEO Meng."They both bowed.Everyone knew who Meng Yi Ran was.She was the only daughter of the prestigious Meng family and she was single with no child.She was the best fashion and designer and alot of people wore her designs.Her creations were worth millions and even in her late fourtee's she still looked youthful and beautiful.Many big CEO'S tried to date her but she rejected them all.Everyone greeted and bowed except Meng Hui who just looked at her"Meng Hui greet CEO Meng."Li Jie told her"Hello CEO Meng."She said looking at her but never bowed"Hello everyone."She said twirling the champagne glass in her hands"Little girl I heard that you are a thief."She said pointing at her"Which part of me looks like a thief?"Everyone was shocked at how she talked back expect Jing and Xixian"Your bold now aren't you."CEO Meng smiled"CEO Meng don't mind her she doesn't know how to control her mouth."Li Jie nervously said"We will go now please excuse us."Xixian held her hands and dragged her to one of the hotel rooms.She ordered fir a blow dryer and made Meng Hui sit on the bed"Your mum looks beautiful."Li Jing said hand Xixian the blow dryer.The door opened and Meng Yi Ran got in.She looked at her daughter and smiled.Even after five months of not coming home she looked healthy and beautiful"You brat why haven't you come home in five months do you know how worried we were?"Meng Yi Ran asked hitting her head"I missed you too mum."She said smiling"Let me do it."Xixian handed her the blow dryer and she turned it on"Your grandma and I have missed you so much."She held her hair"I've missed you guys too."Then why didn't you come back."Meng Yi Ran asked taking a handful of hair in her hands"I've been busy."Doing what exactly?"Meng Yi Ran raised her eyebrow"Work related stuff."She looked at Jing and Xixian hoping they would get the signal and help her"Aunt we have also missed you so much."Jing and Xixian both nodded their heads"You guys are sweet."She smiled then turned off the blow dryer placing it on the table"I have to admit for a fashion queen you do look amazing."Meng Hui praised"And I also have to admit as that fashion queen's daughter you do look like a thug."Xixian and Jing laughed"Mum you do know we are both dressed in black right?"I know but I look much better than you my little thief."Meng Hui crossed her arms"This little thief is still your daughter."They all laughed and talked as they got into tiny fights.The presenters announced the awards to begin in five minutes and everyone went to sit down"Let's go the show is about to begin."Mum don't you feel tired in those heels?"Meng Hui held her arms"Of course not I'm used to it and it pairs with my outfit."Meng Hui rolled her eyes and they went back to the hall and took their seats.Two presenters went to the podium and everyone clapped"Hello everyone and welcome to this year's Turnip Awards."The female presenter said smiling"Welcome everyone I'm your handsome host for tonight so ladies don't drool much."Everyone laughed"Let's start."The presenters announced different winners who came and took their"Now best actor goes to."The male presenter took out a black card from the envelope and looked at everyone"You Xi."People clapped loudly including Meng Hui as he went on stage and took his trophy"Thank you everyone who supported me and to the Turnip Awards for recognizing my hard work.I appreciate it and to all my loyal fans thank you for everything I love you guys."He bowed as the crowd cheered him on.After almost an hour it was time to present the last awards and Meng Hui felt relieved"The last awards for best idol singer goes to."Everyone from the crowd to the audience was waiting as they crossed fingers"Lu Xiao."The crowd got even wilder as he stood up.Meng Hui just looked at him"Aren't you going to clap for him?"Li Jie asked beaming with joy"No."She simply answered looking at him as he stood in front of the microphone"Thank you fir the award.Thank you to my company for the opportunity and especially my manager and colleagues who stood by me."I also want to give a special thanks to my assistant because without her life wouldn't be so exciting."He smiled then went to sit down.The presenters thanked everyone for coming and told people to enjoy"Making life exciting seriously?"Meng Hui looked at him"Did you want me to call you mad in front of people."She pointed her finger at him and You Xi chuckled"Congratulations You Xi you deserved that award."She turned to him smiling"Thank you."Hey I also won an award where is my congrats."Lu Xiao complained"You don't get any."She said then left"What does this mad girl think of herself."He gritted his teeth.Meng Hui went to the washroom and as she went to was her hands she got a text from her mother"Meet me at the back."She washed her hands then went outside where she found her mother leaning on a tree looking at the stars"Mum."Meng Yi Ran turned and smiled"I'm going back home make sure to come and greet your grandma."She hugged her tightly"I will mum."Meng Hui softly said and Meng Yi Ran got into the car.She went back to the hall and found people still eating and dancing"Li Jie I'm going to go back now."She took her bag from her chair"Let's go with you I'm also bored."Xixian held her hands"Lu Xiao looks like we are going to steal our best friend for the weekend."Young Master enjoy your weekend."The trio left then after a while Li Jie,You Xi and Lu Xiao also left the party.
