Green Valley Sect Vs Mountain Sky Sect

The Green Valley Sect and the Mountain Sky Sect's match was first.

Within the seats of the Arena, you could see entirely few empty spots; this is because none of the "major" matches are happening. Anything considered a "major" match has two huge sects against each other.

This lessened the anxiety of people with stage fright; however, it didn't for one person. Jewel was nervous, so nervous that you could see her trembling. She was chosen as the first person to fight for the sect, and she was worried that she would lose and embarrass herself and the team. Despite being extroverted, she had her own anxieties and worries.

The others tried to comfort her, but she kept on panicking. Adonis approached Madeline and whispered, "Hey, tell this to Jewel."

Madeline, although confused, listened to Adonis since she had a lot of trust in him after a month of training and being guided by him. She remembered the words and sat next to Jewel.

"Hey, Jewel."

"M-ma-Madeline...please don't tell me not to be nervous..."

"No, I was just gonna give you some advice."

Jewel was a bit confused but listened to what Madeline said.

"Don't focus on the entire arena; when you see your opponent on the other end, hyper-focus on them. They are the only person in the world with you at that moment, and your main goal is to kill them."

Madeline went on a bit longer about how to focus on her enemy and to think back to her training with Adonis. Jewel was surprised by Madeline's words but listened intently. She soon stopped shaking, took a deep breath, and readied herself to fight her first opponent.

A few minutes later, the fighters were sent out, and Jewel and a random disciple came out.

"Wow, the Green Valley Sect sent a hottie my way; aren't I lucky~." Random 1 licked their lips; as if they were going to have fun in this fight.

Jewel sneered in disgust and closed her eyes, she thought back to Madeline's words and focused on the figure in front of her, all noise and other distractions were eliminated and all that was left was her and the random.

The barrier that protected the spectators from the fight was flashing red; once it lit up green, the fight would start. Green was flashed, and immediately, Jewel closed the distance. Random 1 put up a Mana Shield to protect themselves, but Jewel used her footwork and wind to redirect her momentum so that she appeared behind Random 1.

Random 1 was surprised and tried to strike Jewel with their sword, Jewel jumped into the air, right above Random 1, and spun. She used her spinning to slash her daggers through their neck, the barrier protected the random but broke, ending the fight.

Jewel landed and surprised with the audience by how fast the fight ended. The spectators clapped and cheered for Jewel's victory, and Jewel felt joyful and excited by the cheering. Random 1 went off the stage depressed, and soon the next fighter of the Mountain Sky Sect went out.

Random 2 didn't say anything and readied themselves, Jewel put up a fist to show she was good to continue fighting.

The team made hand signs to show whether they were good to fight or not. A fist up was a sign to show that they were good to continue and a hand up meant that they want to be sent back. As stated by the rules, a sect can make their disciple retreat from battle and put them in later, but they couldn't do it in the middle of a fight.

The barrier flashed green, and Jewel closed the distance again. This time, the random cast 'Earth Hands' and huge hands appeared from the ground, they tried to crush Jewel. Jewel skillfully dodged the hands and even jumped on top of one of them, she then leaped into the air, threw her dagger at her opponent, and used her wind magic to accelerate it.

Random 2 put up an Earth Barrier and tried to hit her with Earth spikes, Jewel used her movement technique 'Wind Flow' and the wind blew gently around her, covering her in a veil of itself. She was able to fully control her movements despite being in mid-air and dodged all of the earth spikes and fell right behind Random 2.

Random 2 used 'Terra Gauntlet' and with their detailed earth hand tried to punch Jewel, but she used 'Tempest Razor' and cut it into pieces. The random backed away, but Jewel kept pursuing them, Random 2 smirked as an earth spike appeared under Jewel. She immediately backed away, and now Random 2 had distance.

However, Jewel grinned at this and Random 2 heard a shattering sound from under them. They looked down and saw a dagger breaking into their barrier with a string of wind attached to it. Random 2 realized that when Jewel landed, she created a wind string to grab the dagger she had thrown before and used it to continue attacking them.

Due to being caught off-guard, Random 2 didn't have time to react when Jewel used 'Aero Explosion' and a huge wave of wind blasted at them. The random was hit directly and their barrier broke as they flew mid-air. The fight ended and Random 2 was helped out of the Arena.

Jewel's confidence was at an all-time high and she put up a fist to show she could continue, however, the next opponent was a person that Mila, Adonis, Lena, and Juniper were all too familiar with.

Jack Parea, the person that trapped Adonis in the Beast Land Cave and planned an ambush on him.

Jack came out with an arrogant look on his face as he stared at Jewel, his skin was paler, and his hair was longer and messier. Despite this, he walked out with confidence.

Jewel's confidence wavered as her senses told her to be extremely cautious of the person she was about to face.

The barrier flashed green and Jewel carefully approached him, Jack stood calmly with a growing smile.

The earth around Jack started to turn black.
