Chapter. 5 - Quite the Predicament

"It's a girl..."

"What?"

Everyone present became silent.

"Umm, I can explain."

*Flop*

The sound of a heavy leather cloak created a loud sound, it was the cloak Miyata received from Tina.

As the scene unfolds, everyone froze up, unable to speak just like a scene in the movies.

A second or two passed until the men finally understood.

"Guoo!!"

"Impossible."

"Beautiful..."

Different reactions and words came out from everyone who had just witnessed the unraveling. Some were vomiting blood like Iron Man and some were simply stupefied by Miyata's beauty.

"Ara ara I thought it could be our little secret but you spilled it way too early."

In the distance was Ceciliana alongside Friedrich, the man who purposely revealed Miyata's identity.

"Onee-sama it was my blunder! The energy surge was reported to be in the area. I could not help myself but rush in to stop another possible disaster!"

Friedrich had his head on the ground, apologising as if he had just offended a God.

"*Giggle* That attitude and resolve of yours is your strongest point Friedrich. Yet it may also be the one that gets you killed. If it was a disaster as you say, then wouldn't you have been the first victim after triggering it? You would also drag in innocent people to the problem."

"..."

Friedrich face turned bitter as if he had just eaten a bug.

"Teehee! But it all went well didn't it? Good job Friedrich! Although I would've loved that Miyata and I could keep our little secret~"

"I apologize once more..."

With Ceciliana's comfort after her scolding, the tense Friedrich seemed to have finally cooled down.

"For you to be a girl yet you didn't tell me...."

"I-I'm so so-"

"AWESOME!"

"Eh?!"

"You beat those muscle brains despite having such a small body! So cool!"

[Small... He's praising me but I feel so infuriated.]

As the Jerard was flailing about, Iron Man closed in on the two.

"Ahem! I am quite surprised that a frail looking lass such as you overpowered most of the men here. I should be furious for such a deceitful act, yet I can't say I didn't expect this."

Out of the blue, Iron Man approached Miyata which caused many to be shocked.

"Eh?! How?"

"Peh! You think I'm all just muscle?! Do you think your overly shady looking coat would make you look discrete? Puahahaha!"

Iron man's large laughing figure not only shocked Miyata but also terrified the men that Iron man is capable of laughter.

"But I must say! A demon was what I expected most! I guess you're just lucky, one way or the other; I was already thinking of attacking you! Or maybe I was the lucky one because I didn't! Puahahaha!"

"Ehhh-he he"

"Although I'd like you to stay and protect the region, the white robes may have different intentions for those with magical aptitude."

As Iron Man spoke, close by was Ceciliana who overheard their conversation.

"Eh-hem, about that, I would like to ask those chosen to come to the infirmary to be checked up. And captain, I would like to thank your consideration with this."

"Not at all. The country needs this now more than ever. And after all, it was a direct order from the King."

"Yes... Thank you again captain. Now, for those with magical aptitude, please enter the infirmary for checkups, we will start after the third bell."
