Escape

A few weeks passed and as Art and Thebe sat in the garden, the latter holding their son while Niall lay nearby, Timaeus came running in with a panicked look upon his countenance. Panting for breath, the Corinthian uttered: "He's found us! Argus and his men!"

Rising with the speed of an arrow from a bow, Art asked: "How?"

"I don't know. Minos must have betrayed us!" Timaeus answered.

"Or Daedalus." Thebe commented, slowly rising to her feet.

"Or Argus had turned to torturing some poor soul who did know our location." Art conjectured. "Whatever the case may be, we have to escape." Remembering Daedalus' plan, he wondered if the Cretan Inventor still had the ship ready for his and Thebe's departure to Egypt.

Hearing a cry coming from in the palace, the Young Gael came to the conclusion that Argus and his followers had indeed arrived. They had to escape, but Art swore one day he would face Argus and put an end to the Son of Eurystheus.

Attempting to make an escape the young family, their feline companion and the Corinthian made their way through the palace, hoping that they would be able to avoid Argus and his followers, but alas, it was not to be. As they made their way to the entrance of the palace, they found Argus awaiting them with one of his men by his side.

Glaring at the Son of Eurystheus with his mismatched eyes, Art stepped forward, prepared to fight Argus unarmed. He mattered not how, be it armed or not, the Young Gael would defend his wife and infant son and he would slay a son of the House of Perseus.
