The commander nodded his head and said "Clear up the scene we are going back to the camp. We will take him with us hurry up"

All the soldiers saluted him in low voice "yes commander"

Soon the zombies head were destroyed and they departed the scene easily.

If one didn't destroy the zombie head they won't die even if their body is damged badly So destroying the zombies head is main priority.

Soon the forest returned in calm situation while occasionally beast howls could be heard but still there was no sign of moon light in the dark night.

Ugh!

Kirin suddenly opened his eyes, he scanned his surroundings which looks like a hospital but old and broken. He was lying on the bed his stomach was bandaged but still one could see the scar on his chest till abdomen. He stood up with difficulty and his whole body started to get uncomfortable but soon it was replaced by heavy hunger. His stomach started to growl which made him embrass. He looked at his surroundings something to eat but he didn't find anything so he was about to inquire someone when a man entered in his view . He was 30 year old man wearing military uniform but compared to other soldiers he had stars aligned on his chest side. His face was rough with downcast smile yet the aura around him was very dangerous.

"It's good that you are awake. How are you feeling now? " the commander said in low voice.

Kirin replied instantly while thinking about who is this person. "I'm quite good now and did you save me yesterday commander? "

The commander nodded while he said "Yes we are on the way to the camp when your classmates met us on the way so we just cleared some of zombies and it's our duty to protect the citizens of our country "

Kirin noded outwards showing gratitude but inside he was sneering "Just for a unknown teen you risked your men to fight these zombies and deep in that forest. If I believe you I will be biggest fool in the whole world'.

Who will go look for a teen in middle of the night at forest which is full of zombies zone.

Looks like there is something fishy going over here!

Kirin pretend to be grateful and heavily thanked him and he asked a question he really wanted to know

"commander what is the situation in India currently facing?"

When the commander heard this his face sank with a bitter tone he said "Roughly more than half of our population became zombies and we still are waiting for the government order. As soon as we receive the order we will move on"

Kirin didn't believe his bullshit 'waiting for the government order more like they didn't even know where to start. The world already became dead and even the military is chaos. You think it is that easy to settle everything down'.

But he still showed him the 'I believe everything you' like face and showed no rebellion. Because he knew if he ever say no and made him angry his little life will be over and no one will ever know how he died. So he could of pretend and obey.

Kirin then said "Well then I will be taking my leave now. I have to find my girlfriend so I have to go look for them. "

Commander was Stunned because no one wanted to leave saftey shelters because if you leave the shelter base you will be just courting death and you need daily food supplies so looking for them will be too difficult and a lot of people have no fear pass know so some of them will have their own gangs and rules however they like of you don't satisfy what they ask you will be killed without mercy so no one wanted to leave shelter base but only still some people leave and that might be some fools who wanted to live their own bit soon ended up dead but Kirin is not someone who is a fool who had good combat ability in his previous battle so he was wondering but he replied

"of course you can leave whenever you want but you can't enter the shelter base if you are infected "

Kirin nodded then finally said "I understand commander"

When he was about to leave the commander once again said "oh i forgot you have gained ability now"

When Kirin heard this he was confused but soon he was quite excited. He knew that when he was fighting with zombies he felt a strange force enter his body which made his blood boil like a fire is born in his body. This made him get rid of the zombie easily but the after effects made his body weak, he is still feeling weak now.

He said on confused tone "Ability? What's that mean? "

The commander chuckled and said "well you will learn in future anyway so I will just give you basic introduction. To the people who awakened a types of energy in their body or an element affinity or some peculiar ability we call them as evolvers. So basically you are an level 1 evolver and you are ability is more like burning your blood for more power type this is a bit tiring to explain but you will understand in future when you evolved further. You have any questions?"

Kirin frowned then asked "Commander how did you get to know my ability?"

Because he didn't use his ability yesterday in front of them so how did they found out of his ability. He now became cautios while thinking various reasons.

If they know about his ability that's mean he is all naked in front of them. They can easily identify his weakness now which may be threat to his life.

The commander shook his head and said in cold tone "we checked you whether if you are infected or not so we could draw your blood and test it then we found out that you are evolver"

Kirin merely smiled and said "Commander thanks for your information I will have to leave now"

As he said he took a brown coat wrapped around his body. When he was about to go out he heard a voice behind him.

"One final warning, There is always things beyond your imagination. Stay low all the time we only saw the zombies in early stages which are just have minimum threat level if once they evolved like us we no longer can spread them and... The Scary part is the zombies are not true terror now..... The real enemy is ourself"

While saying he went away without any response from kirin. Kirin just looked at the departing figure quietly then mutterd himself

"Won't it be more exciting that way"

As he said he went outside the camp.
