Death- War of Blueleaf- 4

For 15 days, the allied forces were slowly chipping away imperial soldiers' lives.

Sauruüne atop a Behemoth and his close guard of salamander riders spearheaded the main army' advance. They fought side by side with Vormverr and killed countless soldiers. 347 newborn goblins were given training, armors and weapons and joined the frontlines. 270 survived.

Medea became a rank 5 legendary Aries warrior with the secondary class Aries berserke. She was the most active during the fights and grew quicker and stronger. The Trait that she gained by becoming a legend was called bird view and allowed her to see herself fighting at the third person, like a bird watching from the air. She hacked and slashed, her sword aura strong. By watching from the air, she knew where to position herself best. The Aries grew and many are strong among rank 4s.

The spearmen became double headed spearmasters, epic Rank 3 classes. The warriors became rank 3 draconic warriors -epic and the goblins wielding swords and shields were rank 3 novice knights.

The surviving newborns became rank 2 warriors.

The mages all reacheched the late stage of rank 3.

The hunters and scouts became rank 3 predators and stalkers, while few stalkers became rank 4 shadow assassins and shadow runners and some predators became long distance predators at rank 4.

The trolls grew stronger and reached late rank 3 as berserker and axe warrior.

The 11 samurai became magic warrior of poisonous katana, unique rank 4 and samurai of the night - epic Rank 4. They were extremely active during the fights. Goblun was especially lethal and they even managed to take down 2 rank 5s.

Lastly, 3 orc warriors reached rank 5. 1 orc blademaster was wielding am orc longsword and 2 orc great warriors were wielding two headed battle axes.

Arthur became a rank 4 Aries teacher of blades and this boosted largely how fast the Unshakables were learning and improve their martial arts.

Besides the newer goblins, orcs, goblins and Aries are properly armored.

Ezize reached rank 4 in Champion, colossal axe hacker - unique.

He became a champion axemaster - titan - unique. He gained the active skills called colossal slash: slashing with his axe 360 degrees around him, and colossal axe, that allow his heavy strikes to send axe blades made of aura. The passive skill titan champion increased his strenght by 20 percent and his resistance by 20 percent.

He knew that he was withholding some of his power but he was however growing steadily and was not once in true danger. He was close to be seriously hurt but didn't use blink yet. Baal was seriously strong at rank 4. Ezyze and him were fighting together many time and made an excellent team.

Suddenly, golden eagle took flight. They are rank 5 monsters capable of manipulating their golden feathers to kill various enemies. Atop were mages of the White tower.

250 of these giant eagles took flight and each had a rank 5 mage and 3 rank 4s mages atop them. 350 royal hyppogriff, Buzers and the birds of prey took flight. These are the cream of the crop of Blueleaf' army. Edigo was leading them. Nefrus stopped attacking the bridges and rejoined with the flying allies.

While the artillery was bombing the mana shield, a heroic battle was underway in the air.

The hyppogriff ducked and dodged while their riders threw arrows and magic. The birds of pray were fiercely combating the mages at close range. It was epic to see.

Ultimately, Bluelead opened its gates. 500 000 additional troops joined the fray. Everain made use of all of its troops.

The Empire wanting to similarly crush Blueleaf sent their remaining forces. The 800 000 or so combined mercenaries and Blueleaf army forces were fighting a remaining 2.7 millions troops.

While Nefrus and his lich awoke dead imperial soldiers, thus growing their forces to 1.2 million troops.

The remaining imperial troops were the crim of the crop, their sword sharpened during this war and many fights.

The left side of the allied forces had the troublesome Behemoth led by Sauruüne. In almost 1 month, he barely used his mace, despite fighting close to the frontlien for 2 weeks.

The right side of the allied forces had Kleops. His army was extremely tricky and caused many deaths and large scales damages. The center had Andros and Dizio that were deep in the enemy ranks, everyday.

The Nemean lions cavalry is a unit that was trained over and over directly by Ivan Goodheart for his personal use. They were dispatched on the right and left side to get rid of the behemoth and the mirror mage. The Nemean lion's hide is so tough that he impervious to being hacked, slashed and magic attacks. Heavy weapons are not the solution and the damages are reduced by a large percentage. Overpowering them or killing them with attacks that go through their skin is the answer.

The royal knights and Ivan attacked the central bridge.

BOOM!

A concentrated attack destroyed the mana shield. The Artillery unit could now destroy the fortress.

The situation became dire all of a sudden.

The allied forces threw themselves in the fray, while the Empire dispatched at last his special forces. The white tower, nemean riders and royal knights are the most powerful and elite forces that Ivan had. Still, the group of phantom lancers, steel knight, magic swordmen and battlemages were units of several thousands of troops that had an incredible impact on the battlefield.

All the forces were deployed and killed each others wildly. Ivan Goodheart was personally leading the troops in the middle bridge. Andros was fighting royal knights while Dizio phantom riders. Kleops and the pharaoh legion were fighting nemean lion riders and steel knights. The steel knights were solely physical classes that trained their whole lives in how to best wield an armor and weapon and aura and energy. Those that managed to reach rank 5 were like mobile tanks that could make enormous damages. Buzers and the birds of prey, hyppogriff and Edigo and Nefrus were slowly winning against the white tower mages. Kleops and the right side were slowly losing.

Enormous fire from the artillery slowly chipped away the rampart and several watchtower were now severely damaged. The remparts were not manned by soldiers anymore: they all left to fight on the ground.

Constant fire from the imperial artillery caused a tremor that could be felt on the ground. The rampart still stood strong, and wouldn't go down easily, but will go down eventually.

On the left bridge, the Behemoth was causing great damages. Surrounded by his personal guard of salamander riders, the frontlines were lit aflame and imperial forces were killed one after the other.

The Unshakables were fighting together with orc units. They managed to overpower the coming imperial troops by cooperating. The weaker goblin warriors and spearmen were supporting orc and Aries warriors and killed weakened imperial soldiers. Ezyze, especially was constantly hacking and slashing, supported by the heavy firepower of lampor. Zephyr and Rea were fighting in wild abandon, stronger since ranking their class to rank 4. A battlefield was the perfect place for the 2 to fight. Zephyr was continuously moving very quickly and slashing one imperial soldier after the other. His incredible capacity to feel the flow of air allowed him to dodge many attacks and slash a great number of enemies. Rea was smashing and kicking. She jumped in the airx delivering a roundhouse kick to a soldier, then duked under another one's spear before thrusting her spear like right hand, piercing his heart, then delivering a high kick to a nearby soldier and continuing her killing spree. Even if she didn't kill then, the imperial soldiers were considerably hurt and finished off by supporting troops. Medea and the Aries'horns were fighting together, leading Aries troops. They showed formidable teamwork and the rank 5 Aries warrior is a rare class at the legendary rank. She polished her fighting style and kill enough enemies to stand at the apex. She was strong, like a moving bolder. While her damages were not incredible and her defense not the best, she was a very balanced frontline warrior.

Trop and his crossbowmen were working closely with Trap's army. Their cooperation was astounding and they disposed of imperial soldiers very quickly.

Varna's long ranged army provided buffs to Hulnel's army and debuffs to the imperial troops, while damaging them. The yak beastmen under Hulnel's leadership were very strong warriors, with enormous resistance and strenght. They were wearing heavy armor that increased their defenses and totems that strengthened them with the power of nature and nature spirits.

The left bridge allies were making strides against the imperial forces.

Boom!

The Nemean cavalry appeared and attacked Sauruüne and his salamander riders. The Nemean lions, impervious to most attacks, were very strong and they teared the flesh of salamanders. The riders, carrying close range weapons, attacked together with the lions to kill allies. 500 strong, this elite troop of imperial cavalry posed a serious challenge for the allies.

The behemoth trashed around. Slammed his enormous fists and grabbed and threw lions. He was in return clawed at, slashed and bitten. Sauruüne appeared out of thin air and smashed numean riders with the full force of his hammers. His white hammer was an ego weapon that was releasing incredible firepower through waves attacks and could hit enemies from a distance. When he was either pierced or slashed, Sauruüne grew translucent and the attacks went through. He kept fighting deep in the middle of the Empire's most Elite forces and handled his own, injuring enemies.

This was the incredible might of someone that was rampaging the frontlines during many wars.

The rest of the day was filled with fierce fighting. Neither the Empire nor the allies could nake huge progresses.

The night was spent rythmed by the chaotic bombarding of the remparts.

No one slept well.

Earky morning, the troops went out. The right bridges section of the wall showed deep cracks and was under concentrates heavy fire. Sections of the remparts had craters and the unending artillery barrage would make things worse.

The Allies attacked once again. The fiercest imperial troops were deployed and, besides the white tower's mages that were struggling against the bird of prey and the hyppogriff's unit and Kleops' mercenaries that were also struggling against steel knights and nemean cavalry, both sides were more or less equal in power. Still, Ivan Goodheart led all of his troops on the fight.

It was noon.

Swish. A catapult in the backlines of the Empire was destroyed. Then another and another. Yamamoto Kureshi appeared and led the special forces of the Blacksaber clan behind enemy lines. He appeared in another battlefield and destroyed the very important artillery unit of the Empire. Everyone stopped fighting and saw this act of madness.

Since the start of the fight, the 3 main battlefields were sending each others data on the progress of the fight. While Andros and Argia were manning Everain fortress, Argua, her sisters Arula and Arila were manning the Tidestopper and Bluemount fortresses, with Yamamoto Kureshi and the other mercenaries.

Bluemount and Tidestopper were located in the Glimmering mountain range. These mountain fortress had the enemy forces fight uphill and were connected by a network of tunnels that were going through the Glimmerig mountain range. The 2 fortress cooperated immensely and managed to hold off the imperial forces, that were close to 10 million strong. The blueleaf soldiers were 4 million strong and the mercenaries 700 000 strong. They were fighting 2 to 1 but had the home advantage.

When they saw that they will be constant under fire after mode or less 10 days, Yamamoto Kureshi read all the battle reports and realized that the artillery units were the main factor in singing these fortresses. While he could try to go out and fight his way through hordes of imperial soldiers to destroy their artillery, he decided instead to take the unit that was directly under his command. These soldiers were the most powerful that he trained personally over and over again. They were most loyal and brave warriors. Yamamoto Kureshi departed from the Glimmering mountain range and sneaked near the battlefield at Everain.

While he did manage to get there quickly and unnoticed, the bulk if the imperial forces were protecting the artillery unit. He couldn't fight against all these imperial troops. After breaking Everain's shield, the artillery targeted its huge wall. In order to increase pressure and forbid Allies troops from reaching the artillery units, Ivan Goodheart committed the bulk of his troops in advancing and fighting the allies, in the valley.

Yamamoto Kureshi saw this as a good sign and waited for the attention to be on the 3 bridges, to destroy the artillery.

He and his unit were extremely fight. Raised and trained under Blacksaber's guidance, their use of sabers was exquisite. Yamamoto Kureshi was spearheading his unit and slashed whatever was in his way. The few rank 5s that were protecting the artillery were quickly killed.

Everyone was shocked and stopped fighting. What happened there was an act of madness the chief commander of the mercenaries left his battlefield to act as a covert unit and destroy the enemy's rear line. The swordmanship that they all utilized was fast and precise. Zephyr and the Hydra warriors were particularly impressed by it and engraved this sight in their brain.

Ivan Goodheart was fuming. Seeing his artillery unit destroyed was making his heart burn. Many of his troops were dead. The useless imperial army had too many cannonfodders. They didn't know how to really fight and grow complacent. Only those that he trained personally were making a difference. He raised his egosword in the air and and a huge lightning bold crashed against the sword. He was covered in lighting and Nemus, his personal nemean lion was similarly covered in lighting. While the Nemean lion was impervious to most physical and magic attacks, he could still be buffed. Ivan is a genius magic swordman and the thunder that he wields have made him a genius even among the imperial royal family. Born from a concubine, he managed to overcome adversity and rise as a royal genius. The Empire wasn't stingy at all when rewarding promising candidates and Ivan was given rare elixirs, people to manage and teachers to guide him. He eventually grew his forces and created different elite troops.

3000 nemean riders, spearheaded by Ivan riding a lightning lion was a sight to see. They cut through the battlefield and oppressed the allied forces of the central bridge. Andros and Dizio were being overpowered and 2 of the 3 bridges were about to be lost. Edigo, having routed the white tower's magicians, flew over the central bridge. From a vantage point, the hyppogriff riders sent various spells and arrows. Edigo manipulated water, making the rain as sharp as a spear that was falling from the sky and killing imperial troops.

Ivan waved his left hand and sent an enormous lightning bolt against Edigo, that barely managed to block it. He then creates water dragons that crash against Ivan.

On the right side, Kleops was attacked by 10 rank 5 steel knights and 3 rank 5 nemean riders. All of his troops were busy trying to win against the imperial forces and he himself had to take the frontlines in order to prevent them from being killed.

He sent destructive magic, one after the other, he jumped from mirror to mirror and ambushed unsuspecting imperial soldiers using his longsword. He created doubles and created doubles of those attacking him. Many times during his mercenary career did he manage to kill more powerful enemies or kill them while outnumbered.

While he appeared directly behind a steel knight, he slashed his sword and dug it deep in steel knight's upper body. Kleops was glad, this was now a 7vs1. The dying steel knight grabbed Kleops and bear hugged him. Kleops was sending magic attacks one after the other. The steel knight was losing consciousness before regaining it, his head sizzled and cut by powerful mirror magic.

Slash.

The remaining steel knights all attacked him, and one decapitated him.

Thud.

His head rolling on the side, Kleops, leader of the pharaoh legion died in the battle to defend Everain.
